Final Day as President - 180/365

Today was Jim's last meeting as President. He was relieved, but also sad. He really enjoyed his Presidency. And did a fabulous job and everyone was proud of him. He said everyone gave him a round of applause and told him he did a great job. Everyone is so proud of him!
What an accomplishment!
This evening, we took a little walk while Reagan drove her pink Cadillac. She loves that little car. While we were out walking, we saw her new desk for her room was delivered. I decided to put it together real quick to see how it looks. It fits perfect and she just loves it! She's getting too big.

Walk & a Piggy Pancake - 179/365

Today was a boring day. Nothing much going on. Reagan, Brinkley, Nana and I hit the three mile trail for the first time this season. I can't even believe it. It's been so rainy this summer, we never worked out a routine like previous summers. It felt good to be out there!
After walking you have to go to Bob Evans for breakfast of course! Reagan always gets the piggy pancake. And, you always have to take a picture!
Other than that it was a typical day. Jim off to work and us just hanging around.
Our first walk!

Scrappers Game - 178/365

This evening we were heading to the Scrappers Game with Ron, Rachel and the kids. It was rainy our whole drive over, so we thought they may cancel the game. Fortunately, they stuck it out and eventually they did play. Ron and Rachel had special seats from one of their agents where all your food was free. There was a waitress in the section. She gave you a menu and you could order anything you wanted off of there. It was great! We got burgers, hot dogs, fries, cotton candy! We tried it all basically! LOL!
The kids had a ball together. They got to meet Scrappy! Jim ended up catching a foul ball, so when we moved over to the picnic table area they had fun playing roll the ball to each other. LOL!
Ron and Rachel left a few minutes early, so we moved down into the side field area. Jim ended up catching ANOTHER foul ball! He was so happy! He said he never caught one, let alone TWO!
Milana took a liking to his first ball, so he let her have it. I think he was getting repaid for his good deed.
At the end of the game, the kids were able to run the bases. Reagan went out and ran like a little pro! It was so cute to see!

Jim's President's Party - 177/365

Today was the long awaited Boardman Rotary President's Party for Jim. He was nervous all day, but Reagan helped keep in relaxed. She made him and Brinkley play watermelon fairy and ketchup man. Brinkley even got in on the fun today and was mustard man. He was wearing Jim's yellow vest! LOL! She loves that. It's like her favorite thing. Her costume is getting a bit small though. She wore it two years ago at Halloween!
Finally it was time to get ready for the party! We were a little late getting ready. Terry and Bill showed up a few minutes early, so they just hung out in the foyer until we were ready. LOL!
They just picked us up in Terri's car, but that catch was they made it into a news car. They had WKBN and Stifel signs all over the side.
When we got there, everyone was outside waving. Jim got our of the car and yelled, "I'm HERE!" Everyone laughed.
He was happy to have his mom and dad and my mom and dad there along with Reagan.
They decorated the tables in sweater vests and news cards. It was so cool. They got some old media posters and trading cards right from WKBN themselves. It was awesome!
The skits were hilarious. Terry and Bill pretended to put on a news show. They were looking for Jim who they called the "least present President" because we travel so much.
The first had Mason pretend to be our handyman and house sitter. He said he was at our house 370 days out of 365.
Next, they had our dog sitter. She said that she watches Brinkley so much that her kids think he's their dog. LOL!
Finally, Jim's personal physician, Benjamin Dover. Who came out and presented all the good information about Jim and his Presidency. Rotary always throws a good party with some fantastic skits. They poke fun, but also show a lot of love to whom was the President.
Jim followed up with an absolutely amazing speech. Everyone loved it.
Jim, Reagan and I were also presented Paul Harris Fellow awards thanks to Nana and Papa. They are the highest rotary award. We are so honored and grateful!
Very nice day!

Nap Time & a Sparkler - 176/365

Today we were going to run a few errands to try to finish up Reagan's room. We've been dragging her to a lot of stores, so we made sure we made a stop at her favorite place today, MENCHIES! She just loves it there. Today she was so into it, her face was all the way down in the cup!
Our last stop of the day was Bed, Bath and Beyond. I wanted to get a couple sham pillows for Reagan's room. We found a couple and tossed them in the buggy. Reagan made herself a little bed in there. She was almost taking a nap, she was so comfy.
This evening, we let Reagan do some sparklers in the back yard, in her pajamas. It was quite a hoot. She was like a little hillbilly baby back there. It was awesome. She had a blast and I suppose that's all that matters!

New TV.... Again - 175/365

Today I was off to pick up our new TV! It has been two and a half weeks dealing with the old TV disaster, so it was nice to go and pick up the new one. They couldn't deliver and set up until Monday, so we decided to see if it would just fit in Nana's semi truck and Jim and I could try to get it all set up this evening, since it's supposed to rain all weekend! The TV fit perfectly in Nana's car! YAY!
Jim came home to help us unload.
After that, we were off to run the rest of our errands.
We decided to have lunch at the "fish place" (AKA Cheddars). Reagan is really into "secret pictures" she took our napkin wraps and made everyone draw a secret picture. Nana drew the front of Reagan's shirt. I did the four park icons of Disney World and Reagan did a rainbow with clouds and a sun. It was fun to see what everyone came up with!
This evening, I mowed. Reagan loves helping daddy move his car in the garage after I mow. She loves to pretend to drive!
After mowing and dinner, Jim and I were going to tackle the TV. The hardest part was getting it out of the box and the stand on. After that, Jim had us up and running in less than 5 minutes! YAY! It's nice to finally have a TV again! Woohoo!
Excited for the new TV!

Austintown Park & Matt's Comedy - 174/365

Today was Reagan's day with Grandma! She was so excited to go over there.
They did some stuff around the house, then had some lunch. Reagan was so excited to spot a "hidden Mickey" on grandma's tablecloth. She just loves searching for them!
After lunch, they decided to head up to Austintown Park with Papa Greg. They were having a great time when a few familiar faces showed up. Alivia and Jessica just happened to be there playing too. Reagan and Alivia were so excited to see each other. They hadn't gotten together in awhile. Best buds they are. Everyone had fun!
This evening, Nana, JoAnn, Brittney and I were heading up to Pick Wick & Frolic to see Matt do his comedy routine. He was opening up for T.J. Miller. He was so excited. He had quite the crowd there to see him. I think there was around 20 of us all together.
When he finally went on stage he was cool as a cucumber and delivered all his jokes effortlessly! He had the whole place laughing. We were so proud of him and so thrilled to be there to see his comedy show on the big stage. Congrats Matt!
While we were doing that, Jim and Reagan just spent some time playing in the backyard. They had a good ole time playing make believe. She loves her special daddy time.

Papa Gymnastics - 173/365

Reagan got a wonderful surprise at Gymnastics today.
Nana picked her up to take her and it was just a normal class. She was ready to head out on the floor when Papa showed up. He had a really slow morning, so he decided to check it out. He hadn't been able to go before, so he was excited, too!
She loved showing Papa all her moves and especially the rings.
She isn't thrilled with the new summer developments though. They now have bigger classes, so there are three different teachers, which is good. But she said she doesn't like it. She was really close with her winter teacher Miss Mandy, but she's teaching the older kids for the summer.
She'll get settled in eventually.

So excited!

Menchies & Sushi - 172/365

It was a Nana day for Reagan today! Jim and I were both doing our respective work. LOL!
Reagan and Nana started their day at Giant Eagle. Reagan had to try out every patio chair they had on display, along with her fairies.
They went back to Nana's and played just about everything. They had a great day.
This evening they had dinner at Stonebridge since Nana and Papa go there every Monday and Tippy is closed on Monday. All the Stonebridge workers were happy to see little Reagan.
After they had dinner, they took a ride up to Reagan's favorite place Menchies! She loves taking Papa there!
While they were off having dinner. Jim and I went on a little date. We went to see San Andreas and then had dinner at Sawa after. The movie really was good. There were some parts that made you say, "Eh, this is a little farfetched." At least you hoped.
Sawa was delicious. Our favorite was the sweet potato sushi. YUM! Jim is happy because I'm starting to come around on the sushi! LOL!

Father's Day Fun - 171/365

Father's Day today!
Jim was going to head over to Squaw Creek to golf with his Dad, Uncle Frank and Sean today! They got out to the course and got started. Suddenly it was a monsoon. They could barely see where they were going and the golf course was starting to flood. After a few holes trying to deal with that, they decided to just head back to the clubhouse. They were having a band on the patio, so they just hung out, had a few beers, snacks and listened to music. They ended up having a good time!
While they were off doing that, Nana, Papa, Reagan, and I headed down to a picnic on the farm. Nana and Papa got stuffed chicken breasts, sides and salads from Stonebridge to bring down. It was YUMMY! We had a nice visit. Reagan always likes to go exploring their property, so we had fun.
This evening, we all met back at the house and then headed out to see Inside Out. It was suck a great movie. We all just loved it. I did cry a little bit, too! Disney/Pixar did it again! ♥
