Last day in the World

We were going to end our trip with some Animal Kingdom time.
Unfortunately it was a rainy day, but we didn't let that stop us. We hit the ground running. We did the Safari, saw both shows, triceratop spin, and us adults tackled Everest. Papa and Reagan spent some time together while we did that. Papa likes it but sometimes it bothers his ear.
This afternoon, we had lunch at one of the favorite spots, Yack & Yeti! Nana and Papa hadn't been there before and loved it! It's always so good!
Reagan found a pay phone near the bathrooms and was mesmerized. You don't see those too much anymore. She loved playing with it.
This evening, we decided to run around Magic Kingdom for our last evening. We did it all and had a blast! We did get in line for Philharmagic, but after standing there for twenty minutes, they said it was malfunctioning. UGH! Reagan looked cute in her glasses while we waited anyway.
We had an AMAZING trip and aren't really ready to head home yet, but it will be good to see Brinkley.

Character Day

Today it was a bit chilly again with a little rain. Boo!
We were going to walk over to Magic Kingdom for a bit. We happened to stumble on the Fairy Godmother right near the castle. We had never met her before, so that was a treat! Reagan just loved her. She loved Reagan's dress, so she made sure she told Reagan exactly where Jasmine would be hanging out today. What a sweet lady.
We did end up hunting down Jasmine and we were glad we did. It was a rare treat for her to have Aladdin with her. They were so wonderful and took a lot of tine with her. Jasmine just went crazy over her dress. It made Reagan feel so good.
This evening, we were going to head over to Epcot for a bit. We did just about all the rides. The waterfall looked especially pretty tonight, so we took some pictures in front of it.
This was our last time in Epcot for this trip. Sad.
It was a great day!

Tiana Birthday!!

This morning, Jim hit Epcot at the crack of dawn to get in line for the Anna and Elsa meet and greet at Norway in Epcot. He waited two hours!! It was cloudy and chilly, but he didn't care! He just wanted Reagan to get to meet them!
She was THRILLED!! Just absolutely in awe of them!
After the meet and greet we walked around Epcot a bit. My tummy was feeling better, so we decided to go to Via Napoli to eat. Our waitress was the sweetest thing. When she found out we were going to be celebrating Reagan's birthday a bit early tonight, she brought her out a dessert and candle. They even sang to her. It was so sweet and Reagan was thrilled. Disney has the best employees.
This evening we were having our dinner at Cinderella's Castle to celebrate Reagan's birthday. They do a little "party" where you can get a cake, balloon, crown and wand. We kept asking Reagan for months before we went, what princess cake would she want. She kept saying Tiana over and over. So that's what we did! She was so incredibly happy. It was awesome!
What a fun night!

Chef Mickey and Epcot

This morning I was still feeling ill, but we had a reservation at Chef Mickey's, so I wanted to try to go to that. I made it up and I was glad I did. Reagan had a ball with all the characters. It wasn't the best one we've been, too, they didn't seem to take that much time with her, but she didn't notice. She loved it. We were in and out pretty quickly.
After breakfast, I went back to bed for a little bit, while Jim and Reagan swam some more.
Nana and Papa decided to head over to Epcot and then took the back path over to Hollywood Studios. It figures, I had to be sick on the nicest day we had the whole trip. Boo!
This evening, I was feeling a bit better, so as a group we headed over to Epcot. We did a few minor things like Nemo and the "Donald Duck" ride. It was nice to get out and get a bit of fresh air.
Reagan was excited because we stopped to meet Duffy!

Flu at Disney

Today started out great! Reagan played around the room before we headed over to the Magic Kingdom. We wanted to do some stuff over there. We started with Enchanted Tales with Belle. Nana and Papa hadn't seen that one yet. The magic mirror is so amazing, they just had to see it.
Jim actually got picked to be one of the suits of armor. It was hilarious and he did GREAT! Reagan loved seeing daddy as part of the show.
We did all the stuff in Fantasyland again and Reagan held a little dance party in front of the castle. It was a hoot!
After we did some stuff at the Magic Kingdom, we decided to go back to the hotel to swim for a bit. It was about 75 today, so it was perfect. I was feeling pretty tired, so I left Reagan and Jim at the pool and went up to take a nap. Pretty soon, I felt extremely nauseous and came down with an awful flu! Yuck! It knocked me down the WHOLE DAY! I was so bummed because it was a nice day.
We were all supposed to go to dinner at the coral reef that night, but I didn't feel like it at all.
Nana and Papa still kept that reservation and Jim and Reagan went over to the Magic Kingdom for a bit.

Hollywood Studios & Duffy

We were going to check out Hollywood Studios today!
Reagan is really into Disney Junior, so we thought she may like the show. Well, she LOVED it. Her most favorite part was grabbing the gold deblumes. LOL!
After that, we were going to check out Toy Story. Just as we were going in we ran into one of those green army men. Reagan was extremely reluctant to meet him, but she did go. She wasn't thrilled though.
We were doing a Character Lunch today at Hollywood and Vine. We hadn't done this one before. They had Sofia, Doc McStuffins, & Handy Manny. Reagan just loved Doc and even gave her a big smooch. It was so sweet. The food was great and you could get Sangria. BONUS! It was a really nice character meal. I would love to do it again.
This evening we headed over to Epcot to walk around a bit. Reagan spotted Duffy and just had to meet him. She loved it!
Another great day in the World.

Fun in Fantasyland

This morning we were hitting Magic Kingdom again. We did some stuff in adventureland with the Musilli crew for a bit. They were going to go home this afternoon, but decided to stay. After a few rides, had to go and switch out hotel rooms.
We decided to take advantage and rest a little, too. Nana and I did take a stroll down to the pool area to check it out. It's supposed to get warm, so we hope we can swim.
This evening we were just going to meet everyone over at Magic Kingdom again.
We did all the standard stuff, but spent a lot of time on the teacups. Yuck! Us older ones can't hang like we used to. It makes us a little nauseous.
Rachel and I took a spin on the Barnstormer together. It was a HOOT! I didn't think we'd fit in that little car. LOL!  We had a fun night!

Animal Kingdom Day & Epcot

Today the crew was hitting Animal Kingdom! The Musilli crew hadn't been there before, so they wanted to check it out.
We all met pretty early for the Safari ride. The kids LOVED it. Parker went nuts and wanted to ride it over and over again. It was a good one, too. Lots of Animals out and about. Probably because it was a bit cooler!
Next, Reagan took a spin on Tricera Top Spin with Rachel, while Laura, Jim and I went on Dinosaur.
After that we had a bit of lunch and hit Expedition Everest. The Musilli's went back on the Safari while we did that. We met back up and hit Rafiki's planet watch. The kids loved brushing the goats. It was fun. They even got to meet Rafiki and Chip and Dale.
After that, we all hit the hotels for some nap time.
This evening, Jim, Ron, Rachel, Laura and I were heading over to Epcot for an adult trip around the wold. We were going to try to have something from every country. Whew. We only made it about 4 or 5 countries with eating and drinking, but we made the whole tour around the world. We stopped and sampled hats in some of the countries. Made for some cute photos! LOL!
Before closing down Epcot, we decided to get Rachel on Test Track. She's not one for "thrill rides" but she agreed to go. The line went pretty fast since it was late at night. We almost had a whole car to ourselves, but at the last minute they put a single rider on with us. It was a hoot!
Another fun day in the books!
