Travel day today!
We were off to the Pittsburgh Airport to begin our Disney journey with Nana, Papa, Ron, Rachel, Laura, Ron, Sharon, Parker and Milana! We were loading up the car when Ron and Rachel went by a gave us a little honk! They were already on their way!
We all met up at the luggage counter at the airport, got checked in, and were off to the gate.
Turns out, our plane was delayed about an hour. There was a little TGI Fridays right across from there, so we sat down and had some snacks and beverages!
Finally it was time to board. The kids did great and the flight itself was pretty uneventful, except for the landing. I think he misjudged by a second because the landing gear really pounded into the ground! Yikes!
We got our car and we were off to Cape Canaveral. We had found a little restaurant online, right near the hotel called, Fishlips. We went straight there and had dinner. It was so YUMMY! We all enjoyed it!
For a travel day, it went pretty smoothly!
