This morning we were docked in Nassau!
It was a beautiful day - 75 and sunny!
We started our day early with a princess meet and greet in the atrium of the ship. They had Snow White, Tiana, Cinderella and Ariel. Reagan and Ariel had a great bond going on. They ended up just hugging for a few minutes. It was the sweetest thing. I said, "Reagan, we have to go." Ariel just waved her hand and mouthed, "No, she's fine." It just melted your heart!
Next, we got a chance to meet Anna from Frozen! Reagan was so excited and hugged her right away. Anna said, Reagan reminded her of Olaf, since he likes warm hugs, too!
After all our meet and greets, we decided to head down and check out Nassau. We knew we weren't going to stay long, since there is nothing really there, but we just wanted to tell ourselves we did it. Since it was so nice, we really wanted to take advantage of the empty ship and swim though!
We got off the ship and made it about 15 minutes before we decided that we had seen enough. LOL! It was a mad house out there. There were two other LARGE cruise ships, so the lines to get back in the cruise terminal were even long. We just said, "Let's go swim!"
We met the Musilli's up on the swim deck. It was such a beautiful day!
Rachel and I decided we would go ride the AquaDuck. Rachel was a little bit nervous (she's not a ride person) but we got her up there and she loved it! When her and I were done, we talked Nana and Laura into going with us, too! Everybody loved it!
The kids had a good time playing in the Nemo's reef area, too!
After that, we all went to get cleaned up for dinner at Animators Palate. We were pretty excited for this dinner. The backs of the chairs all through the restaurant look like Mickey's Pants. It's too cute! All around the restaurant, there are these screens that show all the fish from Finding Nemo swimming around. All of the sudden, Crush will show up and talk a little bit. He stopped next to a few tables to talk specifically to them. He actually even stopped at our table and talked with us for a minute. He asked the kids what their names were and how old they were. They were so smitten, it was cute!
After dinner, we stopped to meet a few characters. Then, decided to hit the theater on the ship to see Frozen. The Musilli's hadn't seen it yet, and we had been wanting to go again! The show in the main theater was Villians, so we didn't know how the little ones would react to that. Frozen was a nice alternative. Reagan and Parker sat next to each other and did great! It was in 3D and they even kept their glasses on! We were impressed! Milana had enough about halfway through, so Ron and Rachel took her to bed, but Parker and Reagan loved it! We all did!
It was a nice way to chill out this evening.
The photo of the day is Jim, Reagan and I during our 5 minute trip to Nassau.
Next, our whole crew at Animators...
Finally, Reagan and Parker ready for Frozen 3D.
