Highlights - 120/365

I got all spruced up for the trip today. I've been too lazy to get highlights in my hair for awhile. I'd decided as I sat down in Brandy's chair, that I would get them. They are subtle, but cute.
Here's a selfie for the photo of the day. Lol.

Chick Fil A - 119/365

Today my little sweetie and I hit the town getting all our stuff for the trip! We were hungry, so we decided to hit up Chick Fil A. We ate in the car since it was a madhouse. She didn't seem to mind.
This evening, Jim, Brinkley, Reagan and I were going to head out on a walk. We sent Brinkley out to go potty before we went. Reagan followed him out there but wouldn't come back in with him. She walked around outside for five minutes with my shoes and her crown on. Lol. It was too funny!

Fuzzy Cuddles - 118/365

Before I go to bed at night, I always check on Reagan. I went in her room to find this cuteness.
In other news, Reagan got her beach haircut today. I couldn't get her in at our regular place, so we went somewhere else. They had Dora and a tractor chair. The boss approved...

Lemonade Purchase - 117/365

This evening I was getting ready to mow, when I noticed the neighborhood kids had set up a lemonade stand on the corner across the street. I went in the house, grabbed some money and Reagan. Jim and I sent her over all by herself to get a cup. She was so proud of herself. It was her first transaction. Lol! She did forget to give them the money, so we had to send her back over. It was too cute. The kids didn't even question her. She loved the lemonade, too!
We also noticed today, her plants in her princess greenhouse, SHOT UP. Seriously, they were barely peeking out of the dirt this morning, and by this evening, they were an inch tall. They are cosmos, which are known to grow fast, but my goodness! She loves checking out her plants everyday. They are all doing well.
The photo of the day is Reagan after her purchase.
Next, her amazingly fast growing plants...

Reading Reagan - 116/365

Reagan's napping is starting to get a little sporadic. There are usually two days a week that she won't sleep. Today was one of those days. She does pretty good staying in her room. She doesn't demand to come out, and if she doesn't sleep, she usually will just lay there and sing to her stuffed friends. Today, we never heard a peep out of her and thought she was sleeping. When Jim went in to get her up he found her all engrossed in a book. It was so precious. She really does love to read.

Fiddler on the Roof - 115/365

Tonight Jim and I were going on a little date. Adrienne was cast in Fiddler on the Roof with Aurora Community Theater, so we were off to see her in action.
The theater itself was so intimate, it probably only held 200 or so people. It was so nice. The stage was small, but they did an excellent job with it. You didn't even noticed the size once they got going. They cast was excellent and Adrienne did a fabulous job as a villager. We really enjoyed the performance.
After the play, they had snacks, wine, and champagne to celebrate opening night. Adrienne even took us backstage, so we could see the behind the scenes. We had a great time.
Reagan spent the night at Grandma and Papa Greg's. They had a fun time together, too!
The photo of the day is Jim, Adrienne and I on stage.
Also today, Reagan and I built and painted a bird feeder. Nana got her a little kit for Easter and she couldn't wait to put it together. She was very proud of her hammering skills and no one even had smashed fingers! Here is the little builder.

Bob's and Family Fun Walk - 114/365

Reagan and I met daddy for a special luch date at Bob Evans in Canfield today.
Jim had some time this afternoon, so it was nice he was able to dine with us.
Reagan picked the "piggy pancakes for her meal. She was so excited when they set them down. She said, "look he has a nana banana for his nose!" We cracked up!!
This evening it was pretty nice, so we decided to hit the Kirk Road trail. When we pulled in, we noticed Ray and Jenny's car in the parking lot. We were only a couple minutes behind them, so they ended up waiting for us and we had a fun, impromptu, family fun walk tonight!
The photo of the day is Reagan and her piggy pancakes.
Next, family fun walk...

Jack Nicklaus - 113/365

Today was a very exciting day for Jim. He was attending a dinner with his golf idol, Jack Nicklaus!
Greg and Uncle Frank, went with him, too.  The dinner was held at the Lake Club to benefit the United Way. The had a great buffet and a open bar. There were many well known people from the community there as well.
Jack Nicklaus and Annika Sorenstam, the greatest male and female golfers ever, were the speakers. They did a question and answer segment, which everyone seemed to love. They told a bunch of jokes, too.
Everyone in attendance got a nice paper weight with Annika and Jack's names, along with details of the event.
Jim said it was a really fun evening.

Finally, the picture, paperweight, and card...

Grandma Visit & MOPS - 112/365

Today, Nana and Reagan were going to spend the day together, since Nana will be heading to the beach soon. Nana doesn't like when she doesn't get to see Reagan. LOL!
They started at Bob Evan's for breakfast. Then, took a ride down to Salem to visit Great Grandma Downard in Rehab. Grandma is doing well and was SO EXCITED to see Reagan! It made her day!
After that, they came back to Boardman and ran a few errands with a stop at Menchies...Reagan's FAVORITE! This evening, they had dinner at Nana and Papa's and Reagan and Papa played the world famous cupcake game! They had a great time.
This evening, Jim and Brinkley went for a walk, and I headed off to my MOPS meeting. Tonight, the mentor mom's were putting on a dinner party for us. Our dues were waved and no one had to bring food. They set round tables with table clothes, centerpieces and even got us little lotions as favors. It was so nice. They had cucumber sandwiches, fresh blueberry and apple cinnamon bread, pasta salad, pinwheels, nuts mix and brownies and graham cracker marshmallows for dessert! YUM!
We didn't have to sit at our assigned tables, so it was fun to be able to talk with other mom's you don't see very much! I got to sit with Paula, Jonai, Deanna and Marissa which was so nice and got to meet three new mom's, too. It was fun!
Next, the darling centerpiece from MOPS.

Jim in the Paper and Trampoline - 111/365

Reagan loves the trampoline at gymnastics and has been asking for one for "mine house" for quite sometime. Well with it being winter, we just hadn't got around to it. Well since she's been potty trained, we told her she could have one. The Easter Bunny ended up bringing her one and she was THRILLED!
Except the Easter Bunny left an important pole for assembly out of the box at his "factory", so we were a day delayed putting it together. I called the "factory" (Sam's Club) this morning to see if I could just get a pole out of a box they already had, since ours was already half put together. They said no problem! They were super nice about it!
This afternoon after retrieving the pole, Nana and I got the rest of it put together. It was pretty simple, which was nice. She was bouncing in no time! She loves it! It fits perfect back by the playset, too!
Jim made the paper, too! He and five other local presidents-elect for Rotary Club were featured for their training in Columbus a couple weeks ago! We are so proud of him!

Cvetkovic Easter - 110/365

Today was Easter!
Reagan was so excited to wake up and do her egg hunt and look for her basket. She ran all over the house and found all the eggs without too much prompting. It's so fun to share these special mornings with her.
We sat around opening her eggs and going through her Easter basket. She was most excited about her Tiana dress. Tiana is one, if not, her most favorite princess. She wanted to put it on right away and dance around. We got her a couple greenhouses, too. She loves to grow and take care of plants, so she was pretty excited about those! Her absolute favorite was her trampoline. Mommy was going to build it Saturday before we went to Nana and Papa's, but with the iPhone disaster, it never happened.
After while, it was time to get ready for our annual brunch at Squaw Creek with Grandma, Papa Greg, Adrienne, Jake, Jillian and Evan. Frank and Judy even joined us this year. It was so nice!
We always have a good time getting together and the food is always fabulous. We are totally stuffed by the end. They have a huge buffet with tons of breakfast items, but then also some dinner/lunch options, too! We usually get a plate of breakfast, then go back for lunch! LOL!
After brunch, we went to the camp so that the kids could do the Easter egg hunt that Grandma and Papa Greg set up for them. They had a ball running around the camp and LOVED even more, being able to hunt outside this year. It was SO NICE out!
Grandma and Papa had little bags for the kids with candy, chalk, bubbles, Lalaloopsy "lipstick" and a Lalaloopsy nail set for the girls! Reagan is SO into lipstick, she was so happy!
After the hunt, we decided to go up to Fellows Riverside Garden to walk around a bit. All the daffodils and pansies were in bloom. It was so pretty. The kids loved wandering around the Children's garden, too! Reagan got to check on her hand print on the fence from last year. It was neat to see that her hand did get a little bigger. We had a really nice day.
This evening, Jim and I were going to attempt to put the trampoline together. We got about a 1/4 of the way done, when we realized a pole was missing from the box. A WHOLE POLE! We've never had a major piece of anything be missing from a kit. Guess I'll have to call Sam's Club tomorrow. Reagan took it pretty well, which was nice! LOL!
The photo of the day is us at the garden....

Downard Easter - 109/365

Today we were celebrating Easter at Nana and Papa's house.
It was just a small crew this year with grandma in the rehab facility. It was just Nana, Papa, Raymond, Jennifer, Dexter, Jim, Reagan, Brinkley and I. It was just a nice quiet dinner.
Jenny brought our "trio of carbs" and I brought the broccoli casserole and dessert. Nana and Papa did the meats and some appetizers. We had it covered! We had a fun time just sitting around, chatting and stuffing ourselves.
Reagan got an adorable Easter basket from Ray and Jenn with lots of candy and some fun toys. Parachuting rabbits, chalk, book, stickers, gardening gloves and fun socks, which she loves! She was excited!
Nana and Papa had a little Easter egg hunt for her and also had some Easter treasures, too! Her favorite was her Belle gown, she was THRILLED! She also got a new Lalaloopsy, some pajamas and a couple Leap Pad games. She must have been a good little bunny! She was excited!
After dessert, since it was so nice, we decided to go up and do a family fun fitness walk at the three mile trail. We were all tired but felt pretty good after. Reagan even walked, well more like ran, probably a little more than a mile of it. She walked Brinkley and then tried to "catch" one of the adults. She had a ball!
Another thing that happened today, was I shattered my iPhone screen. I dropped it right on the kitchen floor and it just shattered across the WHOLE thing. It was a mess. I called Broke Ass Phone in Boardman and they were happy to fix it. $133 dollars and an hour later, it was good as new! I now have a stronger cover on it. I sure will miss my Mickey covers though.
The photo of the day is all of us at Easter...
Next, Reagan with her basket...
Ray and Jenn making a "tunnel" for Reagan and Brinkley to go through on our walk.
Finally, Reagan putting out carrots, lettuce and water for the Easter Bunny before bed.

DisneyNature Bears - 108/365

Today Jim, Reagan and I went to see Disneynature Bears.
The previews looked so stinking cute, so we really wanted to go. I absolutely love bears, too. They are one of my favorite animals.
We didn't know how Reagan would do, being it wasn't a cartoon, but she did surprisingly well! She fidgeted at the end a little bit, but overall was great! At intense times she would ask, "What's going to happen?" LOL!
Disney did a great job with the film and it had some really funny parts, too! They are just fascinating animals and we learned a lot!
The credits were almost as interesting as the movie, because they showed exactly how they filmed it. It was amazing, they were really right there with the bears. It was so neat!
The photo of the day is us at Bears...
Next, the stars of the show...Sky, Amber and Scout

Beautiful Brinkley - 107/365

Not much happening today!
Brinkley had his hair appointment. I almost forgot and they had to call. Luckily, I was home and said I could have him there in five minutes. They still took him, THANK GOODNESS! We just love when he comes home smelling like a powder puff! LOL!

Youngstown Rotary - 106/365

Today was fun for Jim.
He got to go to the Youngstown Rotary meeting. He went because they are starting a new district wide program called the Gold Star Families. The program will help benefit families who lost someone in war.
Jim said he enjoyed visiting another club's meeting to see how they do things. He got to visit with Stifel colleauge, Scott, who happens to be the President of Youngstown Rotary. As well as, his old college buddy, John, who is also in the club.
Jim said the meeting was interesting and that he was happy he got to go. Rotary is known for doing a lot of good, but also having fun and spicing things up a bit in certain clubs. Youngstown is no different than Boardman. They had their meeting set up as the Tonight Show, where Scott played Jimmy Fallon and interviewed people. It was a hoot!
The photo of the day is Jim and Scott at the "Tonight Show."

Dinner & Draft Day - 105/365

It was snowing today. Yes, snowing. All. DAY!
Anyway, this evening, Ron, Rachel, Jim and I went out to enjoy an adult dinner! We decided to try out the new Texas Roadhouse in Boardman. It was a really nice place and the food was fantastic! The staff even did a little line dance two different times. It was a hoot!
After dinner, we popped over to Cinema South to see Draft Day. Being Browns fans, we have all been wanting to see it. We all really enjoyed it, too. It was fun to see all the places they were in Cleveland and just see all the Browns stuff through the whole movie.
One funny thing was, there was a lady behind us and she kept making all the exasperated sighs at different party of the movie, like she was shocked. She was into it!
We had a fun night!

King of the Castle - 104/365

Today was just errands and getting back into the grind.
Jim went off to work and we went running with Nana. We both ended up getting new printers which was pretty exciting!! Ours were old dinosaurs. Now, I can print stuff wirelessly from my phone, which is AWESOME!
We did get a walk in before the temps started to dip. It is so nice to be back out there a little bit. Can't wait till the warm weather sticks.
This evening, we just played around the house. I played in the castle for awhile with Reagan and then Jim took a  turn. Even Brinkley got in on the action. Too funny! Guard dog!
Next, a "selfie" at the bike trail...
