Blue Day - 272/365

Today, was a crazy day at the Preschool!
Apparently there was an abduction! OMG! Thankfully for most of the school, it was an isolated incident resulting from a custody dispute, so there was no major concern for the safety of the kids, but you still feel terrible for the little boy and grandma that had to go through with it.
The school was great about it and sent home a letter to inform everyone what happened. Turns out the incident even made the six o'clock news tonight. Crazy!
In better new at the school, it was blue day today! They had a great day singing about blue and learning about rectangles! They even made an adorable spider hat!
Reagan said that Mrs. Sebastiani kept getting mad because people kept knocking on her door. Probably because of all the commotion this morning. It was cute the way she told the story.
After school, we took a ride up to Legacy Village to check out the new line at Janie and Jack and had our favorite lunch at Brio! YAY!
Here is the letter the school sent home.

Nana Day - 271/365

Today, Reagan was going to have her play day with Nana! She went over last night, since I had pictures and Jim had the Oktoberfest.
She just loves her time over there, especially her pj parties.
Nana always makes her a yummy brunch, too! She's not big on breakfast, so she usually eats brunch. LOL!
She was even more excited today, because Nyah came over to play! They had a blast running around the house. They spent some time play talking with their animals. I guess it was a hoot!
This evening, they went to Tippy for dinner! After dinner they spent some time running around the golf course. She loves seeing all the sights around the course, especially the water fall.
This afternoon, the lady from the Oktoberfest dropped off the ornament I won, yesterday! It's so stinking cute! It's a pumpkin on the back and a Christmas bulb! I just love it and it's too exciting because I never win anything! Woo hoo!

Oktoberfestival Day - 270/365

Today was a busy day for Jim!
He headed out at 6am to run the Boardman Rotary Oktoberfestival!
This is Rotary's biggest fundraiser and the day couldn't have been more perfect! It was a gorgeous, sunny day. It was packed, too!
This was the first time in a couple years that the Browns didn't have a home game, so Reagan and I were able to head out to visit and support Jim, and do a little shopping, too! Nana, Pam and Jenny all came along, as well! Family fun!
We found Jim in his post and got to say hello. He was checking people into the beer tasting pavilion today. Reagan was so excited to see daddy working! She ran right up to him!
Us girls then went strolling around to do a little shopping. We found a lot of wonderful treasures! We even ran into a vendor that had a pet skunk! She had it wrapped in a blanket and was petting it while people were checking out her stuff. It was so funny! Reagan was fascinated!
After some shopping, we decided to stop at the concession area to get a little snack. I texted Jim and he was able to come over and visit with us for a little bit. YAY!
Finally, we headed out, because I was taking some senior pictures for a family friend at Mill Creek Park. They went great and I can't wait to see how they turn out once edited!
Jim finished his day at the Oktoberfest, on parking duty. He had a yellow vest and all! He looked great! He said that overall the Oktoberfest was great and he thinks this was one of the better years! Good for them!
This evening, Jim was taking Brinkley for a walk and told me there was an absolutely GORGEOUS sunset! I was so happy I got a chance to snap a great pic! It was one of the prettiest I've seen around here!

Parker Birthday & Jake Johannsen - 269/365

It was going to be a busy day today!
We started our day with Parker's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Our little buddy was turning three! Time sure does fly!
The kids all had a great time riding the little rides and playing all the games. Reagan and Jillian spent a lot of time together up in the climbing tubes. It was so cute. They would just peek out of the little windows every once in a while!
Parker was really into the basketball this time. And most of the kids really loved the skee ball.
They broke for some lunch of pizza, fruit, veggies and of course cup cakes! YUM! LOL!
It was a great party for a great little guy!
This evening, we were seeing Jake Johannsen, right here in Youngstown! We were pumped! We had a group of 18 going! We did a little pre-party with snacks and drinks at Ray and Jenny's. We had such a great time!
The show was supposed to be at the new Hotel California in Austintown, but they didn't open on time, so they moved the show over to Crest Lanes in Niles. WOW, what a place that was! It was barely standing! The room in the back where the show was held, was really small and very dingy. We got out of the cars and Ron said "welcome to the rape and stab." We were howling. You did feel like something bad was going to happen.
The show itself was great and Jake had a field day making fun of the venue! He is always a HOOT! We just love him.
After the show, we got to have our picture with him and talk with him a bit. Needless to say, he probably won't be coming back to Youngstown again anytime soon. We'll go back to seeing him a Pick Wick in Cleveland.
To end the night, we decided to head over to the new Mahoning Valley Racino. They had just opened the weekend before. It's a super nice place, but VERY small! We had fun checking everything out.
Busy, but FUN day!

Busy Day - 268/365

It was a busy day for everyone today!
Reagan and Brinkley started their day cuddling while I got ready. I love how they cuddle together. It's SO CUTE! They sure have a special bond.
After I got ready, we were off to gymnastics. She just loves it. Her and her teacher Miss Mandy have a special bond, too. They just love each other.
After nastics, Reagan and I went to have a special lunch together. We just went to Wendy's, but it was still fun to go just her and I. We love our special time together.
For dessert, we went to Reagan's second favorite place, Yumberries. When we were done she wanted to write her name on the blackboard there. She did fantastic. Everyday she is learning or getting better at doing something. It's amazing to witness.
While we were off doing that. Jim spent the day setting up the Boardman  Rotary Oktoberfestival. As president, he wanted to be out there as much as he could. He's doing such a great job and he really does like helping with this fundraiser. Especially since it's their biggest money maker of the year.
They are going to have awesome weather this year, too!
This evening, we were all meeting Nana, Papa, Ray, Jenn, Ed & Pam for dinner. We went over to Rachel's in Austintown. We had a great Family Fun dinner. Mr. Fuzzy even got to try wine for the first time! YUM!

Uncle Jim - 267/365

Today the world lost another wonderful soul.
We lost our beloved Uncle Jim today. He was such a sweet guy and always so fun to talk to. He always had a funny comment to add to any story. We always has a blast teasing him about the Steelers. Just a joy to be around. We are going to miss him terribly.
Rest in Peace, Uncle Jim
Reagan had school today. She was so excited to show us her Candy Corn when I picked her up today. It was darling!
This afternoon, Reagan went to Grandmas for a bit to spend some time with her. They went for a walk on the trail behind her house and they picked Jim and I a bouquet of wild flowers. We just loved it!
Reagan got in a bit of trouble this evening. Jimmy was walking with Brinkley while I was making some dinner. When I went in the playroom to tell Reagan to come to dinner. I caught her coloring in the white circles on her area rug. She immediately went for a time out and I will do my best to remove the colors. This was the first time she had colored on something that she shouldn't have. It was inevitable, but I was hoping it wouldn't happen. LOL!

Menchies and Golf - 266/365

Today was another Nana play day!
They ran some errands and stopped at Reagan's favorite place... MENCHIES.
Every time we drive by she points it out. It was one of the last nice warm days, so they decided to stop and eat outside.
This evening, they went to dinner at Tippy. After dinner, they took a cart ride around the course and played on a couple putting greens. Reagan kept score and was excited to show us when she got home.
She had a great day!

Green Day - 265/365

Today was Green Day at school. Ironically she even woke up in green pajamas. She was pretty excited. Daddy took her to school and got her all settled in. She is loving school and especially the color days. Her and Alivia asked to have their picture taken. It was pretty cute.
When I picked her up from school. We went down to L&M to grab some Mums. They have the biggest ones and the least expensive too. Reagan got to visit with her little cat friend. She was thrilled.
We popped over to Catulpa's just to take a quick peek. They had a fun hay maze that Reagan and I had a fun time going through. We popped up a couple times and Nana grabbed a pic!
Good day!

Silly Girl - 264/365

Today I was getting ready to go run errands when I came out of the room and Reagan had her headphones on, not plugged into anything, but she was singing away. It was the cutest thing. She made a little perch up on Brinkley's steps we use sometimes. She made herself all comfy she said.
This afternoon we had lunch at LaRocca's. Reagan was in a goofy mood all day, so she kept making Nana make silly faces and wanted me to take pictures.
We ran to Hobby Lobby after and found some cool snow flakes for her Frozen party. In keeping with her silly mood, she kept putting everything up to her head and making silly faces.
She was just a riot today!
Love her!
