It was Cleveland Browns Home Opener Day!
It's always a fun day until halftime, but we still get excited! We got up and hit the road at 9:30.
Traffic was a breeze and we were inside by a little after 11 for our indoor tailgate. Ray and Jenny were joining us, along with their friends, Terri and Denny.
We couldn't wait to see the new scoreboards. They were better than expected! Just absolutely amazing and HUGE! They are so big, they almost make the stadium feel a little smaller, it's kinda nice. They will also block a lot of the wind in the winter, too, which will be great!
The game itself was awesome! We thought, of course, the Browns would get beat by the Saints. Raymond was pretty confident in his team, too!
The game started out great! We were up 10 in the first quarter and up 16-10 at halftime. We missed an extra point, though, so we all thought the Browns would end up losing by one.
The second half was a little unnerving. With a few minutes left in the 4th quarter the Browns were losing 24-23. We all were preparing for the worst and realizing our premonition may be coming true. With some amazing luck, Hoyer lead the Browns on a decent drive and they kicked a field goal with seconds left on the clock. The stadium went CRAZY! What a fun, fun afternoon. The Browns hadn't won a home opener since 2004, so they were LONG overdue!
We tried not to tease Raymond too much, because we understand what losing is like.

With the WIN, we got to meet Pam, Zach, Paula and Sis at the paver! It was so great to see them and celebrate the win! Yahoo!
We all had a great day of family fun!
Reagan spent the day with Grandma and Papa Greg. They went to the park and played Candyland! Rumor has it Reagan beat Papa Greg. LOL!
They had a great day, too!
