Happy Halloween! - 304/365

Happy Halloween!
We were going to have a busy day today!
Reagan and I started with a trip to the grocery store. We needed a few things, and I had promised her we would bake "ghost" cupcakes for our pizza party that night. I still needed all those supplies, too!
When we got back, Reagan and I were going to work on our final pumpkin. Nana had found this really cool Cinderella set, that had a stencil, sound maker and sensor. You carve the pumpkin. Then, put this sensor down inside, when you walk past the pumpkin, it talks in Cinderella's voice. Reagan was super excited and couldn't wait for it to be done.
The carving went really well with my new knives! I was done in no time. Cinderella's eyes were a little tricky, but it still came out pretty good.
When it got to be lunch time, we went to meet Nana and Mary Jane at Cheddar's for a girl's lunch. We had a fun time! We all got sandwiches. Nana and MJ got Philly Cheese Steaks. They were huge and looked delicious!
After lunch, they went visiting some friends, while Reagan and I went home to bake our cupcakes. Reagan was the best little mixer! Her favorite part was scraping the side of the bowl with the spatula. And of course, licking the beaters! LOL! She kept going, "MMMMMMM!" It was adorable!
This evening, was finally trick or treat. The weather was horrible. It was raining and windy and it just kept getting worse.
On a brighter note, every year since Reagan came along, the grandparents stop over to see her in her costume. Jim's mom and dad stopped over first. Greg came in with zombie teeth and black lips. Reagan just kept staring, not quite sure what to make of it. It took her a good 20 minutes to warm up to him. It was so funny! They stayed a little bit, then headed home to pass out their own candy.
Papa, Nana and Mary Jane came in soon after with the pizza for our party! We have made it a tradition to have a pizza party Halloween night, before we head out for trick or treat. It's fun to sit with Reagan in her costume and chit chat!
Parker and Ron were our first customers and they were soaked. Poor guys. They were in good spirits though! It was so sad to see all the kids coming to the door just drenched and cold.
Finally, we decided it was our turn to brave the rain and set off to a few houses. We gave Reagan her little Dora umbrella and away we went. She wasn't bothered by the rain at all. She just had a good time. We only ended up going to four or five houses, but she had fun.
When we got back, we dried off a bit, then drove up to Ron and Rachel's to visit them for a few minutes. We got to see Milana and chat with Ron Sr. and Sharon for a few minutes. Sharon made Reagan an adorable little treat bag. It was so sweet.
When we got back home, Nana, MJ, Reagan and I set off to visit JoAnn for a few minutes. JoAnn always likes to see Reagan in her costume and give her a few treats. Her and Bobby got the biggest kick out of the Watermelon Fairy costume!
Next up, it was off to Ray and Jenny's! They were so sweet, they had a little stuffed animal for Reagan and some Halloween stickers. We hung out over there for a little bit and chatted. They even had some "treats" for the adults! We got Miller Lites! Cheers!
Despite the weather, we had a really nice Halloween with our baby girl. It's hard to believe this was her third one already!
The photo of the day is Reagan setting out in the rain for Trick or Treat.
Next, is my cupcake baker and our ghost cupcakes. They HAD to have "frinkles", too!
Finally, our talking Cinderella pumpkin...

Sunrise Trick or Treat - 303/365

Today started with my Flu Shot.
Nana was picking up Reagan for their play day, early, so I planned on going right when she got here. They volunteered to come up to CVS with me to keep me company. Nana needed a few things anyway. Reagan was so sweet after my shot, she came rushing over and gave me the biggest hug. She is just the sweetest thing! Love her! I felt pretty good after, except my arm got sore almost instantly. All day, every time I raised my arm, it ached!
Nana and Reagan went back to her house and had a great day. They played games, legos and even baked some chocolate chip cookies! YUM!
I just got some chores and editing done.
This evening, we were taking Reagan over to Sunrise Assisted Living, for their trick or treat. My grandma and grandpa Zabel lived there for quite awhile, so we got to know all the employee's and some of the residents really well. They just love seeing Reagan and it's nice to be able to trick or treat inside. The weather is looking awful for the "real" trick or treat tomorrow, so at least she got a little in today.
Jim and I, picked Nana and Reagan up shortly after five and headed over. All the residents just got the biggest kick out of Reagan in her Watermelon Fairy costume. I bet we heard "she looks so adorable" about a million times. Reagan used her manners quite well, too. We were very proud. She said "thank you" without being reminded, more times than not. She got quite the bag of candy as well. She was stoked!
While we were at trick or treat, Papa went to pick up Mary Jane from the airport. Her and her sister, Joyce, were coming in for about a week for a visit. We were so excited to see her! Papa took Joyce to one of her friends to visit. Then, we met Papa and MJ at Alberini's in Boardman for some dinner after trick or treat! Reagan went right to Mary Jane and gave her the biggest hug. It was so, so sweet! MJ brought Reagan an adorable Belle doll, too. She was so excited. We had a great time at dinner catching up. It's so good to see her!
Reagan also got a surprise treat from a special friend today.  Our friend, Joyce, sent her a tin of cookies from Cheryl's for Halloween. It was so, so sweet and made our day.
The photo of the day is Reagan trick or treating at Sunrise.
 Next, is Reagan's surprise cookies!
Finally, my flu shot coupon...LOL!

Swiper No Swiping - 302/365

Today was going to be a catch up day.
Jim's mom was going to spend the day with Reagan, while I got some stuff done.
This week, they decided to go play over at grandma's house for the day. They went shopping a few places, before heading over there. Then, it was off to visit Timmy. They played a lot and Reagan helped grandma put some stickers on her mail. They had a good day just putzing around the house.  Grandma brought Reagan home in time to take a little snooze. They had a really fun afternoon.
I got a bunch of stuff done around the house. It felt good to get caught up on some stuff! Brinkley was my shadow all day. Everywhere I was, there he was, too! He is so sweet! He is such great company.
This evening, it was a pretty nice night, so, Jim took Reagan and Brinkley for a stroll around the neighborhood. It was nice for them to get a little fresh air, pretty soon we won't be spending too much time outside.
While they did that, I was going to tackle my second pumpkin! The first one was Dora, so I wanted to do the second one, keeping with that theme. I was hoping to carve Dora's sidekick, Boots, but there was no patterns out there. The only one I could find was, Swiper, so we went with him. My small detail knife broke halfway through. I was so upset! Jim jumped right on it, and offered to run over to the store to see if they had any left. He came back about 15 minutes later, with two new knives! He is great!!! I got to finish Swiper and I must say, he came out pretty good!
The photo of the day is our Swiper pumpkin!
Next is a picture of my little sidekick staring at me.

Hiking and Pumpkin Carving - 301/365

After our busy weekend, it was nice to take it relatively easy today.
Nana, Reagan and I, had lunch at the Dutch Haus today. Reagan was in rare form during lunch. She was just singing and singing. She was singing, "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" while eating a grilled cheese. She pushed one of her pieces of grilled cheese into her ketchup for her fries, when she broke into... "Row, row, row your boat, into the ketchup!" It was so funny! She was laughing so hard, she almost had tears streaming down her face. She is just a hoot!
After lunch, we went to Parks Garden Center to look for a couple pumpkins to carve. I'm so late on my pumpkin getting and carving. The last couple years, Jim, Reagan and I have gone to White House to pick out pumpkins, but we just never made it this year. We popped into White House today, but they had NOTHING left. Luckily, Parks hooked me up. I got three really nice ones, that I hope to get done before Thursday.
Jim went this afternoon to get his flu shot on his lunch hour. He went up to the CVS in Canfield and only had to wait 5 minutes. He said it did hurt a little. The rest of the day, he just kinda felt out of it. Not really bad, just tired and weird. It's probably just a side effect. Hopefully, he'll be better tomorrow.
This evening, Jim, Reagan and I took Brinkley up to Austintown Park to run around on the back trails. We were still a little worried about his leg. We didn't want to put him in the dog park, but still wanted him to be able to run around. Reagan and Brinkley both, had tons of fun. He just ran and ran, while Reagan, collected sticks, rocks and nuts. It was nice to be out and about before it starts getting dark at five.
When we got home, we had a gourmet dinner of Subway. YUM! LOL!
I ended up carving one of our three pumpkins. Reagan is so into Dora since our Alaska Cruise, that I had to do at least one of them, Dora. I have to say, it came out really well! I got some better carving tools this year at Target, which really cut down on the carving time. Reagan was thrilled! I was so happy!
The photo of the day is the Dora pumpkin...
Next, is Jim's little chair where he got his shot...
Lastly, is our little girl on her hike...

Harvest Festival & Boo at the Zoo - 300/365

We had a super fall fun day planned!
We started our day at the Tippy Harvest Festival with Nana and Papa. They did a fantastic job with the party!
When you first walked in, they had the lobby all decorated with spider webs, spiders and spooky candles. Rapunzel and Prince Flynn were there, too! They were telling stories to the kids by the fireplace all afternoon.
When you went in the main ballroom, they had the tables decorated in the typical Halloween colors. They had a pumpkin painting station, photo booth, face painting and a clown who was making balloon animals! Reagan loved getting her face painted. She asked for an orange cat. She was more excited by the dust of glitter on him at the end.
Next, we moved on to the clown. Orange cats must have been the theme of the day, because that's what she picked him to make her, too!
After we finished inside, we set off to the side yard. They had a bounce house, petting zoo, wagon rides, and a bonfire. We started at the petting zoo. They had a couple adorable FLUFFY bunnies, two turtles, a couple guinea pigs and even a Lemur. It was so cute! Reagan went to pet the turtle and he turned the other way. She cried out, "He doesn't like me." It was pitiful. LOL!
Next, it was time for the wagon ride. We ended up getting the whole wagon to ourselves. It was fun because, they had Snow White on the wagon telling the legend of Sleepy Hollow. Reagan listened quite intently. She just loved sitting with Snow White.
After the wagon ride, we bounced in the bounce house and got some hot chocolate.
Finally, we headed over to the bonfire to make some s'mores. Reagan was interested in roasting them, but she kept covering her eyes. It was so funny. This was the biggest bonfire she has been around, so I think the heat was really bothering her. We got a kick out of Papa, because he had marshmallow goop all over his hands...LOL!
Finally, we hit the buffet. They had tons of yummy food, we were stuffed by the end!
It was a great afternoon and we were so happy we went!
Even though we felt ready for a nap after stuffing ourselves, we were now off to the Akron Zoo for Boo at the Zoo. This is our third year and just love it. They do a great job and give out the best treats! Each station is really decorated well. They had construction workers, soap box derby, candy store, trains, farm theme and lots more. The stations are worth it to go, just to check them out. They are that well done.
We were meeting Adrienne, Jake, Jillian, Evan, Matt, Nikki, Andrew and Ally. Ron, Rachel and Parker were supposed to come, too, but Parker was feeling a little off, so they stayed back.
We met at five and had a great time. The weather ended up being great. A little cool, but not horrible. The kids all got along great and just had a ball.
We had got them little glow bracelets, wands and glasses, so we had some fun with those.
We had a good laugh at the goat petting area. We got the kids crackers to feed the goats and they were having a good time. There was one that kept getting real close to the adults. I decided to give him a hug and get my picture taken with him. Next up, was Nikki. She moved in and put her arm around him. All of a sudden, he had a hold of her turtle neck! It was hilarious! I distracted him and set her free. We were howling!
Next up was the little train. Jim was nice enough to be the adult to ride with the kids! They all piled in the caboose and went round and round. He said they all just giggled the whole time.
We finished up the night with the carousel. The kids talked about it all night and were excited to finally ride it!
We ended up closing the place down.
Jim and I ended up driving Matt, Nikki and the kids back to their car at the end of the night. Unfortunately, they had to park way down the street and had to ride a shuttle to get there. We piled them in so they didn't have to walk all that way, late at night.
We had a great time as always! Super fun day all around!
The first photo is Reagan at the fire...
Next, is all the kids at Boo...
Also, the adults at Boo at the Zoo...

Disney Junior Live - 299/365

We were so excited to see Disney Junior Live today at the Covelli Center.
We had gotten the tickets way back in the summer. We were doing the one o'clock show since Reagan likes her late afternoon nap. We got there an hour early to walk around and check stuff out, but everyone had the same idea. LOL!
We were happy with our seats, we were in a upper section in the first row. It worked out great! Reagan was totally mesmerized. She just sat with her popcorn and watched the show. She only got squirmy once. We almost think she liked the Jake and the Neverland Pirates half of the show, better than Sofia the First. She didn't move at all during Jake. After the show, she just kept talking about Jake looking for the Treasure Volcano. Which is something Jim and I didn't even remember the name of. LOL! We all had a great time and really enjoyed the show.
After the show, we went home to get Reagan down for a nap. Jim decided while she was napping, to take Brinkley up to the trails at Austintown Park. He wanted to test out his leg and get him out a little bit. Jim said he did great and was his old running self. Ultimately, he must have just pulled a muscle. Hopefully he's all better now. It's so sad when they can't tell you what's wrong. We felt bad for him.
This evening, we decided to keep our family fun day going, by going out to eat and for ice cream. We decided to go to O'Charley's for dinner. It was fun because we ended up having Cindi as our server. She was so great to us! Our food took a little while, which we didn't even notice, but she ended up giving us free pie to take home for our "trouble." We told her it was fine, because we promised Reagan Menchies anyway, but she insisted. After dinner, we did end up going to Menchies. Every time, I take Reagan, she always says, "We have to bring Dada here." So, today was the day! She just loves it there and loves picking out her own toppings. She always has to have "yummy yummies" and "frinkles". We had a great family fun day just the three of us! Love my little family!
The photo of the day is Reagan enjoying the show!
Next, is all three of us enjoying our Menchies.

Halloween Party & Los Gallos - 298/365

It was going to be a busy day today!
Reagan had a little Halloween Party today at All the Little Birds. She was so excited to wear her Watermelon Fairy costume. She has a little purse that came with it, and she had to bring Mr. Fuzzy along as well. He stayed right in her purse the whole time. The kids were so adorable in their little costumes. There was a little elephant, monkey, bees, kangaroo, Wonder Woman, Monsters Inc. guys. A little bit of everything, really. The kids had a ball. They just danced and played, it was so fun to watch. They supplied little doughnut holes for everyone and had coffee for the parents. It was such a cute little party. Jim even surprised Reagan by popping in for a minute. She was so excited!
After the party, Nana, Reagan and I went to lunch at Cheddar's, then ran some errands. Nana dropped me off, then was going to take Reagan back to her house for a slumber party tonight! Reagan was pumped!
After they left, Rachel picked me up and we were going to run up to the Canfield Fire Station to take some pictures of Parker in his Fireman Costume. We had a great time exploring the trucks and seeing all the gear. I think we enjoyed it as much as Parker. He seemed fascinated, but a little intimidated at the size of everything. He kept saying "Big Truck." It was so cute. I think we got some great shots!
This evening, we were having an adult dinner with Ron and Rachel. It had been awhile since just the four of us went out. We decided to go to Los Gallos and have some Margaritas! YUM! We had a great time with a lot of laughs.
When we were done at Los Gallos, we decided to have a couple more drinks at the Pour House in Canfield. Jim and I had never been there. It was really nice and it was packed! We enjoyed it and had such a fun night with great friends!
Reagan, Nana and Papa had a really fun night. They just played around the house and had dinner. We were so thankful for the offer of her to sleep over!
The photo of the day is Reagan, Jim and I at her Halloween party.
And, Jim's drink at Los Gallos.
Finally, my little fireman buddy!

Lazy Day - 297/365

Not much puppy craziness to report today.
Brinkley seemed to be getting around a bit better today, which was a relief. We think he must have just slipped and pulled something. He will hobble a little if he's laying down awhile, but after he's up and about, he does good. Hopefully, one more day and he will be fine.
Today, Jim's mom was here to spend some time with Reagan. I will still trying to finish up the pictures I took for a family down at Fellows this weekend. They are coming out great. I'm happy! Reagan and Grandma had a great afternoon playing in the playroom!
This evening, it was cold, rainy and even a snowflake or two were falling. We're just not prepared for this yet. Since, we couldn't go outside, we just all hunkered down and watched TV.
The photo of the day is Jim, Brinkley, Bailey and Brandy lounging...

Sawa and an Ice Pack - 296/365

It was kind of an ugly day today. Gray clouds and there was even a chance of snow. Yuck!
My car had to go in early to get some service on it, so Jim and I dropped Reagan off at Nana's. She was going to have her Nana play day today, while I got some stuff done at home.
Nana and Reagan had a great time playing board games, legos, and color-forms. This evening, They went over to Tippy for dinner. Reagan just loves Linda, one of the servers there, they have become great friends. She did with Linda, like she did with Marianne the other day, she had to go find her and give her a hug before they could leave. They said it was so cute!
When Jim got home from work, we decided since Reagan was having dinner with Nana and Papa, we would slip out and have a quick dinner at Sawa. Jim really loves it there and we hadn't been there in AGES! It was really good, we both enjoyed it! I loved our little soup bowls. The soup was great even though it had big mushroom pieces in it.  Jim even made me try sushi. It was a very mild sushi, just wrapped cucumber. I always tell him it tastes like scotch tape. LOL!
When we got back from Sawa, we came in the house and Brinkley was waiting for us like always. Only, he was limping a little bit. He seemed fine when we left, or at least we didn't notice anything. He hadn't been very active today, just kind of laid around while I got some editing done. There was a sleet storm, late afternoon, so we think he may have slipped on the ice, not being prepared for it. We felt really bad for him and weren't quite sure what to do. His shoulder area felt a little warmer than the rest of him. We couldn't tell with all the fur if it was swollen, but we think that's where it hurt. I have these huge ice packs that wrap around the side of a cooler, so we got one of those out and made him lay down. I think he really liked it, because he just laid on the floor for like an hour. He didn't even move when we went to the fridge, which is crazy! Hopefully he'll be feeling better tomorrow.
The photo of the day is Brinkley with his ice pack...
Next, our little soup bowls from Sawa.
Finally, Reagan and Nana's, Lego Wonderland.

Music Class - 295/365

Today, Nana, Reagan and I were supposed to pick up Ally for a play day. Matt and Nikki are in Disney enjoying some adult time, so Ally asked to play with us while we they were gone. We were happy to go. Unfortunately, we had to postpone because the kids started coming down with a cold. Nothing serious, just sniffles and a little cough.
Since we couldn't go up there, Papa asked Nana and I, if we would drop his car off to get new tires. It's a standing joke that Papa gets new tires on his car every six months. Really! LOL! We dropped off his car and heading off to All the Little Birds for her last class of this session.
She really enjoyed it and was all about the parachute today! LOL! Her and Parker were dancing and having a great time. It was adorable.
After music, we went to Toys R Us, to pick up a few more characters for Jim's Disney Infinity game. Then, we went off to lunch at LaRocca's. Reagan just loves going there to see Marianne. They have become great friends. Reagan even wanted to find her before we left to give her a hug. It was SO sweet!
This evening, Jim took Reagan and Brinkley for a walk around the neighborhood, while I cooked. Pretty good day!

Candy Corn Princess - 294/365

It was going to be a beautiful day today!
I wanted to take full advantage of it, by taking some pictures of Reagan down in Mill Creek Park.
I had gotten her a little candy corn themed outfit and I also wanted to take some pictures of her in her fortune teller costume.
Nana, Reagan and I, set out early for the park. We decided to start at Fellows. We had candy corn to sprinkle around her, so I wanted to shoot on those really pretty brick paths they have. Reagan got a kick out of being there, because all the pumpkins were still out. She loved looking at them again. To get her to smile for pictures, we kept singing, "You're a candy corn princess." She loved it and would just giggle and giggle. She probably ate about a billion candy corns, too.
After we finished up at Fellows, we went down to the Lily Pond to take her fortune teller pictures. There were a lot of geese down there, she just loved looking at. One of them had a pretty bad wing injury though. We felt so bad for him. He was walking around and acting OK, but it looked nasty. I hope he will be OK. Besides that, we had a really nice time, taking pics and looking around the pond.
By this time, we were all starving, so we headed out to Bob Evans for lunch. YUM!
This evening, I went to do my walk up at the Kirk to Herbert trail, while Jim and Reagan played. They played legos, barbies, and played with her alphabet pad.
The photo of the day is my Candy Corn Princess...
Today, my grandma Ruthie would have been 90 years old. How we all love and miss her everyday. She was the apple of all of our eyes. I just know she would have loved my little "candy corn princess."
Happy Birthday, Grandma! Love you!

Pumpkin Walk - 293/365

This morning, I took some pictures for a really cool family down at Fellows Riverside Gardens.
I did some pictures for them last year, so I was honored they chose me again. They had 11 total people, which made it a little chaotic, but super fun. They all have a great sense of humor and kept you laughing the whole time. We got some great shots, that I can't wait for them to see.
Also today, my mom and I got to stop over our friend Robert's house to pick up some Butterfly Bushes. Robert has the most beautiful garden at his house and he takes amazing pictures of the flowers, butterflies and his deer friends. It was so great to finally see everything in person. We are beyond thrilled to have some butterfly bushes, too! We're already looking forward to Spring to watch them grow.
While I was at the photo shoot, Jim and Reagan met Grandma, Papa Greg, Adrienne, Jillian and Evan for lunch. They all met at Holy Family Church in Poland for a Spaghetti Dinner to benefit the local Help Hotline. They had a nice time.
This evening, we were heading back up to Fellows Riverside Garden for the Pumpkin Walk at Twilight. We have gone the past three years and just love it. It's so great to see all the cool pumpkins people carve.
We met Raymond, Jennifer, Nikki, Greg, Adrienne, Jillian and Evan. We enjoyed walking down all the brand new paths lined with pumpkins. They have really done a great job with the new walkways. Reagan and Jillian had a great time going from pumpkin to pumpkin. It was so cute!
They even had a "kids band" in the gazebo by the overlook, where the Reagan and Jillian did a bit of dancing. The girls just love boogieing down.
The rest of the crew, decided they were heading home for the evening. In the meantime, Rachel had sent a message that they were just getting there. Jim, Reagan and I weren't quite ready to leave, so we stayed to walk around with Ron, Rachel and Parker for a little bit. Ron Sr, Sharon and Milana, just hung out in the Davis Center while we walked around.
Reagan and Parker had a blast running up and down the field lined with pumpkins. It is just so fun to watch them really start to play and get along. They are going to be great friends.
After they tired themselves out from all their running, we heading into the Davis Center to check out the cookies and apple cider. It was actually quite calm down there, for the crowd they had outside. The kids loved sitting together in the chairs, chowing on their cookies.
Ron Sr. bought two glow necklaces for the kids. He gave Reagan and Parker each one. Reagan was just thrilled. When we were walking to the car, she was playing with it and I said, "That was really nice of Mr. Musilli to give you that, huh?" She replied, "No mama, Big Ron gave me this." It was a hoot!
It was a really great evening.
The photo of the day is, Jim, Reagan and I at the Pumpkin Walk...
Next, the kids enjoying the walk...
Finally, Ray, Jenn and I after Jim took about a billion pictures of us in one shot. LOL!

Fall Fun & YSU - 292/365

Today we were going to a Fall Festival at Austintown Park.
It was fun for the whole family, your furry family members, too! Jim, Reagan, Brinkley and I, set off to go, as well as Raymond, Jennifer and Dexter. It was a small little festival, but super fun. It was hosted by For The Dogs Animal Rescue.
For the little ones, you paid $6.00 and got, a hotdog, cupcake, hot cocoa, goody bag, face painting, a pumpkin to paint and entered into the Halloween costume contest.
Reagan and Brinkley were loving socializing with all the pups. Some of them were even dressed up, too! Brinkley didn't have a "real" costume, but we threw his Mickey Ears on, from our family photo shoot when Reagan was an infant. He looked fantastic! LOL!
Reagan wore her fortune teller costume and really looked amazing. She pulled it off quite well, we think.
Reagan loved her little treat bag. There was a lot of fun goodies in there, a pencil, noise makers, spiders, fake teeth and candy. There was also a tiny, gummy-like green frog in there. She carried that little frog around all day. His little paw eventually fell off and she went nuts. She said, we need some glue to fix him! She's so sweet.
All of a sudden, around the bend, here came Rapunzel and Snow White. Reagan was beyond thrilled and went right up to them. She followed them around the rest of the time. She even sat on their laps, waiting for the costume contest. When they finally left, she gave them the biggest hugs and a kiss, too! They were so flattered.
Finally, came the costume contest. There was probably only 10 or so kids, but they all lined up for the contest. Each kid had to walk down the middle of the picnic tables and then tell the judges what they were for Halloween. Reagan pulled it off and ended up winning a gift card to McDonald's. She is so excited to get nuggets and fries. LOL!
Next up was the dogs, we didn't enter Brinkley, since his costume was just so, so. Dexter had a really cool frog costume, so Ray and Jenn entered him. He ended up winning, too! He got a bag of treats, a toy and a PetCo gift card. He was pretty excited!
After the contests, Reagan painted her pumpkin. She created quite the masterpiece.
We were happy we went and we all had a nice afternoon!
This evening, Jim and Greg were going to brave the rain, to attend the YSU football game.
They stopped down to Warehouse 50 before the game for a couple drinks. When it was finally game time, the rain was just pouring down. They sat on the small side, with the rain and cold, they didn't feel like hiking up the big side.
YSU played great and ended up winning 24-14. They are now tied for first in their conference.
Earlier in the day, they tossed around not going, but in the end, they were happy they went to see the WIN!
While they were enjoying the game, Reagan and I hung around the house and played games. We played Hungry Hungry Hippos, Barnyard UNO, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Super Silly Slides. We had a really fun time! I just love hanging around with my little buddy.
The photo of the day is all of us at the Austintown Fall Festival.
Here is Reagan and Dexter with their prizes.
Next, is Jim and Greg before the rain and after....
Finally, Reagan and I playing games...

Haunted Wagon Ride - 291/365

It was Friday morning and that means, gymnastics.
She really seems to like it and was all pumped up. We were going through our stations and came to where we were supposed to practice cartwheels. I lifted her legs up, but she must have got her finger stuck or twisted, because she immediately started crying. She was just holding it and bawling. I felt so bad. I was worried she broke it or something. Once we got her calmed down, I asked her to move it and she did without crying, so she must have just stubbed it.
We eventually went back onto the gym floor. She looked up at me and said, "Mama, I want to try it again to see if it won't hurt this time." I was so proud of her! She walked right back over to the cartwheel station and asked me to help her. I was so amazed and proud. We went through the cartwheel and did it. She yelled in happiness, "It didn't hurt this time!" My heart just melted! Love that little munchkin.
Her little friend Sydney, came and gave her a big hug to make sure she was OK, too! It was so sweet!
This evening, Jim, Reagan and I were going to go to the Family Friendly Haunted Wagon Rides at Boardman Park. We had won some free tickets from a Facebook contest. That in itself was exciting, we never win anything!
Anyway, we went last year and had a great time, so we were excited.
They had a pumpkin carve-out contest last weekend, so all the pumpkins were on display. Reagan loved looking at them. They were really cool and the people did a great job. Her favorite was wearing a scarecrow hat.
After we checked the pumpkins out, we went over to the bonfire. They had smores packets, marshmallows, and hot dog packets you could buy to roast. We just chose the plain marshmallows. Reagan helped roast them, but didn't want to eat them after they were cooked, she just wanted the plain ones. LOL! I don't think she likes that they turn black.
Next, we spent some time letting Reagan jump in the bounce house, while the other one waited in line. She loved the bounce house.
Finally, it was our turn for the wagon ride. We always make a "bah" sound when we're rough playing with Brinkley, so we told her, the people in the woods would be in their costumes making the same noise. She did great last year, but they can change in an instant, so we didn't know how she would react. We were in the front of the wagon, so we could see everything coming up. She really did get a kick out of it. She would say, "What are they doing?" and just kind of laugh. We were so proud of her! She wasn't afraid at all.
We had a really fun evening! We were glad we went!
The photo of the day is us at the wagon rides....
Next, is Reagan with the pumpkins.
Finally, Reagan and her friend Sydney after her injury. She's still holding her little hurt finger straight out in the picture. :(
