Girls Shopping Day - 290/365

It was girls shopping day today! 

Nikki asked us last week, to come up and try out the new Skyzone in Westlake. Turns out, they started their Fall hours this week and it didn't open until three. We decided to still get together, but just do something else. We decided to meet at Crocker Park, to do a little shopping and have lunch instead. 

We met at Barnes & Noble at 10:30. It was a really nice morning and they had some great couches outside, so we just plopped down and chatted for a little bit. I always have toys in my bag, so the girls played princesses together for awhile on the table, while we chatted. 

We moved on, into Barnes and Noble. Matt, Andrew, Jim and the girls all scored books. They must be pretty special. The girls loved being in the kids section. They both sat down at the little tables to look at books. It was too cute! 

After a little shopping, we decided to have lunch at Brio. It's one of Nana and I's favorite places to eat! YUM! Our waiter was great, but he was kind of a mumbler. LOL! We were always like, "huh?" He was so sweet though, he brought the girls little globs of pizza dough to play with. They loved it. They were kneading and smooshing to their hearts content. They loved making pizza! 

Both girls had "buttery noodles" for lunch. The bowls were bigger than them. It was too funny! They played and ate so nice together at the table. Neither one gave us any trouble. We didn't even know they were there. The adult girls, had a great chat, too! 

After Brio, we promised them ice cream, if they were good. There is a Menchies a couple doors down, so we went over there. Menchies was having some "technical difficulties" today. They could only take cash, no credit cards. And, the bathrooms were broken. WTF? LOL! Luckily, Nana had some cash for all of us to get ice cream. The girls loved picking out their toppings, both loved getting "frinkles." The stickers they got were also a hit. 

We had a great little visit. It was great to see the girls!

This evening, we just hung around the house. It was a rainy night, so we couldn't do too much! Reagan and Jim spent some time in the playroom playing and cooking in her kitchen.

The photo of the day is Ally and Reagan playing with their dough. We all got a kick out of the poor lady who scratched her nose at an unfortunate time in the pic...LOL!

 Next, is the girls enjoying their noodles and ice cream! Reagan was in the middle of saying "buttery noooooodles!" LOL!
