Pictures, Dinner & Lewis Black - 283/365

Today, I was going to take some pictures of Parker and Milana for Rachel.
Nana came over around 9:30 and we caravan-ed out to White House. They have a great little pumpkin area, fabulous for pictures. The kids did great and we got some fabulous shots. We mostly had the place to ourselves which was great! The kids even got to play with Bonnie the Boarder Collie. They loved it!
After, we snapped some pictures, Nana, Reagan and I went up to have some lunch at Steamers. By the time we were done with lunch, Brinkley was done with his hair appointment. Jim was nice enough to run him up while we were taking pictures.
After we picked him up, we headed up to the Kirk to Herbert trail, to get our walk in. I just love walking that path, especially now, that it's Fall and it's a little cooler. It's just beautiful!
This evening, Nana, Papa, Raymond, Jennifer, Jim and I were going to head downtown to see Lewis Black at Stambaugh. We decided to have dinner first at the new Jack Perry's in Austintown. It was really good! They have a lot of options at fabulous prices. It's all in a Youngstown theme, which is kind of cool! For appetizers we got fried pickles and the spinach dip. Both were fabulous. Everyone loved their entrees, too!
After we were full, we went on down to Stambaugh. The opener was pretty good. He had this little ukulele that he was going to do something with, but it wasn't working at the moment. He had some good fun with that. He recovered well for having to wing it the rest of his set. He of course, poked some fun at Youngstown for that article that voted it bleakest city. He said he took his bike down Belmont and just saw empty parking lot after parking lot, until he got to Kravitz Deli where there were Mercedes, Cadillac and BMWs filling the lot. He of course went in. LOL!
Lewis Black came out next and he talked for about an hour and a half. He was super funny and we all enjoyed it. He of course, touched on the debt ceiling and the government shutdown mess. He's great though, because he doesn't take sides. He will point out the failings of both sides, so everyone can still enjoy a few laughs, no matter how they feel. It was a great show and we were glad we went.
Jim's mom was nice enough to come over and spend the evening with Reagan. Nikki and Reagan went to meet, Greg, Frank and Judy for dinner at the Croation Home on Vestal Road. They had a great time. Reagan did really well. Papa Greg just loves to sit and color with Reagan when they go out to eat. They always have a masterpiece!
It was a great day for everyone.
The photo of the day is Jim, Raymond, Jennifer, Nana, me and Papa at the Lewis Black show.
Next, is Parker and Reagan at the pumpkin patch.
