Slow day today.
Jim went off to work and Nana came to pick up Reagan.
Nana and Reagan were going to go to music class and then spend the day together. They were even going to have a slumber party!
Music class went well and Reagan got to see Parker. She was excited.
After music, they went on a lunch date, to Bob Evans. In the afternoon, they played lots of games. Reagan's favorite seems to be Sneaky Snacky Squirrel.
When Papa got home from work, Reagan, Papa and Nana went over to Tippy to have dinner. Reagan was pretty excited because Putter was dressed up for Halloween! He was all dressed up like a witch. She was also excited because, the big fireplace in the lobby was turned on. She LOVES looking at that fireplace! All summer she would say, "Oh no, it broken!"
During the day, I just did some chores. I was sad, because I finally took down my Hummingbird feeders. That surely means it's the end of summer. I was sad to see my little friends move on for the winter.
I was going to cut the grass this afternoon, but it was so wet! Our riding lawn mower doesn't do real well when the grass is wet, so I decided to wait till this evening. Around five, I decided to give it a go. It did OK, but I had to keep stopping to clean out the mow deck and under the wheel wells. It was just FULL of wet grass. My arms were totally green, up to my glove line. I looked like the Hulk, when it was all said and done. I ended up only getting the front done. I wasn't ready to tackle the back yard. The front is half the size and took forever.
After, I got cleaned up from that, Jim and I devoured some chicken and stuffing I made in the crock pot. Then, we set off to Regal Cinemas in Austintown to see Gravity.
When we got there, we didn't realize that the show we picked was actually the 3D version. We weren't sure if we would really like the 3D effects, but we gave it a go anyway. We were two of eight people in the theater, but the movie was excellent! We really enjoyed the 3D effect and think it made it even more interesting. You really felt like you were in space with George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. The special effects were that awesome. You really wonder how they even filmed it! Two thumbs up!
The photo of the day is Jim and I, in our 3D glasses for the movie.
Next, is my grass mess...
Finally, Nana, Papa and Reagan enjoying the "fixed" fireplace at Tippy.
