Star Spider - 120/365

We have a spider living in our television. Yes, IN our television. The other day. I was sitting on the couch watching TV and Jim was at our kitchen table, right behind me, eating a snack. I said "Ewww, there's a spider on the TV! Get it! Hurry!" Jim went and grabbed some paper towels to grab it and when he got up to the television, he was BEHIND the screen! Our TV is a older 60 inch that sits on the floor and has a bigger back on it with some vents. We think he must have crawled in one of the vents. Now, he just walks back and forth behind the screen. It is EXTREMELY annoying!! He only does it for a 1/2 hour or so at a time, but, he's been in there FOUR days now. He'll probably die in there, there can't be much to eat...LOL!
Other than taking our spider friends picture there isn't much to report from today. Just a cleaning frenzy and the daily walk! It was beautiful today!
The photo of the day is our spider friend interrupting an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...

Today marks the end of the FOURTH month of this project! YAY!
I'm having an absolute blast with it and love seeing all the "love" you give me!
Thanks for all the wonderful support! You keep me motivated!

Lunch Date - 119/365

Today started with Reagan and I running some errands to get ready for our trip! Every year down in Myrtle Beach, Pam and Jenny come out of their rooms ready for dinner in their pretty dresses. They always have lovely dresses, and my mom and I tease that we want to wear "gowns," too! This year, I was hopeful to find one I liked. I'm not a huge dress person, but I was determined. My first gown shopping excursion went down in flames last week...LOL! This week, I decided to try again. As luck would have it, I found one today at Khol's! Yippeee! I'm in with the girls now! Can't wait for our "gown" wearing dinner...LOL!
Reagan and I finished up our errands and went to Stone Bridge and met Rachel and Parker for some lunch. We had a nice time and the kids were very well behaved. They both munched on chicken tenders and french fries. The highlight of my day was watching Parker just chow down on a lemon without even flinching! He loved it! He's just too adorable!
This evening, we did our family fun walk at the three mile trail.

Hi, I'm Joey! - 118/365

It was a rainy, April day.
It started in the morning and kept up all day. We just planned to hang around the house. I had some organizing and packing to do in Reagan's room, so Jim and Reagan just played downstairs, while I did that. At one point though, she did say, "Dada, I want to watch Ariel with mine princesses." She ran to her Mickey chair, plopped down with her Ariel, Belle and Snow White dolls and watched half of The Little Mermaid
After nap time, Jim said he was going stir crazy, so he and Reagan hit up Austintown Bounce while I did some more chores. Reagan is all about the "bouncy place!" She loved the one at Ed and Pam's and she loves this one, too! Jim said there was no one there except one other couple with a little boy. He said all of a sudden this little boy came over, shook his hand and said, "Hi! I'm Joey. Can I show her a fun bounce house?" After that, I guess Reagan and Joey just had a ball. They went in all the bounce houses and Reagan just chased after him yelling "Joooooeeeeeyyyyyyy!" LOL! I really would have given anything to see it!
When she got home her little cheeks were all red! Daddy had already filled me in on her little boyfriend, so I asked her, "Who did you play with at the bouncy place?" At first she said, "Emma & Noah", she must have been having flashbacks...LOL! Then she said, "Joey!"
It was so nice of Daddy to get her out of the house to blow off some steam! Such a good daddy!

Great Outdoors - 117/365

What a gorgeous day! We took full advantage of it, too!
Jim, Reagan, Brinkley and I, started with a stroll on the Kirk to Herbert trail, where we saw an ENORMOUS snake! He stretched almost across 3/4 of the pathway, it was crazy! We got up close and he actually started shaking his tail like a rattler, it was bizarre. We have no idea what kind he was, but he was BIG!
After the trail, we went straight over to the daffodil meadow in Mill Creek Park. I have taken Reagan there three Springs in a row now, she loves it! It was in full bloom and just beautiful! We got some adorable pictures of Brinkley and Reagan in the flowers. We walked down to the water's edge to look at the geese and we kept seeing fish leap out of the water. It was so strange!
From there, we headed into the park looking for somewhere else to explore. We ended up parking at Pioneer Pavilion and walked along the path there. It was a really pretty path up above the water. There was a small "cave" along the way that Reagan enjoyed seeing. We followed the path which lead into an open field. We had fun running through there. There was a flat place by the water in the field, so we stopped to check out the creek. I walked out to the middle on some big rocks and Reagan kept saying "mama get out water!" LOL!
By this time, it was time to head home for lunch and naps. We were all worn out! After naps, we played sidewalk chalk and had some dinner. What a perfect day!

Down on the Farm - 116/365

It was a gorgeous day!
Reagan and I kept pretty busy. We started with a walk on the 224 to Shields trail with Brinkley. We dropped Brinkley back off at home, and headed over to Fellows Riverside Garden to check out the tulips. I love going there in the Spring and seeing all the flowers, it's just gorgeous! Reagan LOVED the fountain. She would have stayed there all day if she could! Everywhere we went in the garden she would say, "We go see wadter fawl?"
She loved running down the new paths, too. At one point, she was running pretty fast and fell down. She has a tiny red mark on her knee, but there was no blood. She shook it off like a trooper. She did rip a hole in her tights though and said "I have a circle!"
We have the worst luck with her and tights. I think she has ruined almost every pair we put on her. She either falls or purposely rips a hole in them while in the car seat. It's amazing...LOL!
When Jim got home, we headed up to the experimental farm to take a little walk. We stopped to see the animals in the barn, since the door was open. Brinkley made friends with the pig, mama sheep, and baby cow. Reagan was getting a kick out of seeing Brinkley "talk" to the animals. The mama sheep didn't like the baby cow trying to steal some attention and there ended up being a tiff between them! They were head butting each other, yikes!
We finished up there and walked up the hill to see the long horns on the hill. They are so cool to see, but they kind of spook us, too. They just stand by the fence, which is basically just wire, and look back. I feel at any minute they will freak out and I'll be like one of those Spanish guys that gets a horn up their butt. LOL!
We had a great walk around the farm and I think the kids had fun, too!
The photo of the day is Brinkley making friends with the pig...

I had to add a pic of the barnyard brawl...

And just a cute one of the kids...

Princess Muffins - 115/365

Jim, Reagan and I were playing in the playroom after dinner. Reagan started pushing her doll stroller around the house like 100mph. Somehow, we ended up back in the living room. I sat down on the couch, and the next thing I know, she was bringing all her stuffed animals from the playroom and piling them up next to me on the couch. She ran back to the playroom one more time and came back with her play muffin tin from her kitchen. She took it over to her Little People Disney Princess Castle and she filled the muffin tin with princesses and princes. It was hilarious because they fit perfectly in there, too! LOL! We enjoyed that for a few minutes, then she went and grabbed some cars for the princesses. Luckily it was bath time so we were able to stop the migration of toys from the playroom to the livingroom...LOL!
Overall, she was a little bit of a pistol today. Knock on wood, 99% of the time she is extremely easy going and happy. For some reason, today, everything upset her no matter how minor...LOL. She cried over cheerios, water, going potty, getting dressed, putting a bib on, having to eat dinner at all.... It was all too much for her today...LOL! I guess we all have those days.
We took Brinkley to the groomer and she started crying when we left him there. It was pitiful! We ran to the mall and grocery store and she must have asked nearly 1000 times, "Brinkley get-tin a baff? We go get Brinkley now?" She was thrilled when daddy delivered him home safe and sound! She was glued to him the rest of the day. Everywhere she went you would here "Come on Brinkley!" Too cute!

Gray Day - 114/365

It was an UGLY day!
It started with rain and ended with rain. The skies were gray and it was pretty chilly. Reagan and I were planning on hitting the mall for a few more beach items, but decided that staying home in pajamas, was going to be way more fun! I did a two loads of laundry and we hung out in the playroom. We had a good time! Reagan would get up on her stool every once in awhile, look out the window and say "Oh NO, it's raining!"
She actually woke up all worried about her toilet paper roll bird feeders. She stood at the patio door and said "Oh no, mine bird seed get wet! It get ruined!" She would NOT leave the back door, so I eventually scooped her up and took her out to the closest one to show her they were fine.
Brinkley was awful bored today, too. He loves to be outside or walking the trail, so he looked pretty bummed. He just laid on the floor looking pitiful all day.
This evening we went over to Tippy and met Nana and Papa for  dinner before they head off to the beach in the morning! We had a great dinner just talking about all the fun we will have! Can't wait!
The photo of the day is Reagan looking out the window at the awful gray skies.

Had to add Brinkley, too....

Swinging Sweeties - 113/365

Busy day today!
We started the day at Reagan's music class. She just absolutely loves it and I get to chit chat with the other girls. It's a win-win for everyone!  After class, Nana met us and we did our walk on the Kirk to Herbert trail. After the walk, Reagan went to spend a couple hours at Nana's while I went up to Casal's to get a MUCH needed cut and color. It's amazing how just freshening up your "do" can make you feel brand new! When Jim got home we headed out to Fair Park. Just as we were getting ready to load up, Rachel texted that they were also heading over there and asked if we wanted to join them. How perfect! The kids had a lot of fun! They hit up the slide, swings, and the crazy bouncing animals. Brinkley was all over poor Rachel. He must want to be her BFF because he just wouldn't leave her alone...LOL! After the kids played awhile, Jim, Reagan, Brinkley and I were going to take a walk around the trails they have there. We started out OK, but within a few minutes, we were in a maze of mud. It was crazy! We thought for a second it would get better, but we were wrong. We turned it around and just called it a night. Guess that trail is more of a summer drought trail...LOL!

The photo of the day is Parker and Reagan enjoying the swings...

Earth Day - 112/365

Today is Earth Day!
It's a day to focus on the Earth and draw some attention to treating it right, so we can continue to enjoy it for as long as we're all here.
We decided to celebrate Earth Day by having Reagan do a little craft to honor the earth and the wildlife around our house. We made a recycled bird feeder! We collected four empty toilet paper rolls, peanut butter and bird seed. We smeared peanut butter over the toilet paper roll. Then, rolled it in bird seed until it was covered. Reagan just had the best time! She loved covering them up with seed. She wasn't as thrilled with the spreading of the peanut butter because she can't stand to have stuff on her hands...LOL! She kept saying "wipe mine hands!" After we finished all four, we took them out to the Magnolia trees by the deck. We put two in one tree and two in the other tree. Now, we'll just have to see if we get any visitors!
The rest of the day was just status quo. Hit the trail and had some lunch with Nana. I cut the grass for the second time already. While I was mowing, Jim and Reagan went to the playground. It was a beautiful day with not a cloud in the sky. Also, technically today, I got up at 4AM to watch the Lyriad Meteor Shower. I ended up seeing 4 in the hour that Brinkley and I stood out there. I had my camera set up but didn't catch any on camera. I got some great star pictures though! I gave up around 5 and went back to bed...LOL!
The photo of the day is Reagan rolling her toilet paper roll in the bird seed...
Of course I had to share a picture of the finished product in the tree....

Nature Day - 111/365

Jim, Reagan, Brinkley and I spent this relatively nice day in Mill Creek Park.
It was in the mid 50's today, which compared to yesterday, we'll take!
We started on the All People's Trail at the Ford Nature Center. I wanted to look for some wild flowers, so I could put my new lens to good use. We found a few purple ones, but I was hoping to find some unusual ones. We enjoyed our walk around the path, and Reagan enjoyed picking up all the pine cones. She started to make a little pile on a bench along the path. LOL! Brinkley enjoyed getting a little "off leash" time because there was no one around.
Since our wild flower quest was a bust, we walked across the street the the paved walking path that runs above Lake Cohasset. We went about a mile when we heard what we thought were gunshots! YIKES! A few minutes later we heard a ton of sirens. I checked the news this evening and there was nothing, so who knows what it really was. It was a bit spooky at the time though.
We got back to the car, and went over to the Lake Newport Wetlands. There is a huge field across from the parking lot before you take the path to the boardwalk. There had to be about 30 geese in the field, and of course, all eyes were on them as we were walking. I did a double take, and sure enough, there was a fox just chilling out in the field. I tried to walk as slow as possible and got pretty close before he even noticed me. But by the time I got my camera to my eye, he turned and ran. He was so cool to see though. We continued on and walked all along the boardwalk. Reagan was disappointed she didn't see any fish. She was thrilled with the amount of geese though.
We got home and I was getting ready to start dinner when one of our pantry shelves collapsed. Ay, yi, yi. Hopefully, it's a quick fix. We shall see. To be continued....
The photo of the day is Reagan's collection of pine cones...
The extra photo is just a random hug, Reagan gave Brinkley at the wetlands, with an inserted picture of the fox running away.

Washer & Dryer - 110/365

Today was a rather boring day.  It started with flurries, yes, snow flurries this morning. It was just 80 degrees two days ago!
Reagan came home from nana & papa's around 10:30. We all went straight to the playroom and hung out in there most of the morning. I was pretty behind on laundry, so throughout the morning, I kept heading into the laundry room to throw more in and take more out. I bet I did 4-5 loads today. I'm never that behind! Whew! I got all that done and then it was nap time for Reagan. While she napped, I just sifted through some pictures I'm way behind on, and Jim took a nap of his own. When Reagan and Jim woke up, we hit the three mile trail at the park. The weather improved enough that we braved the conditions. We came home, had dinner, then got Reagan bathed and put to bed. Jim and I went out to the driveway around 9:00 to look for the space station. Uncle Ed sent an email that showed the times and direction it would be coming. Last time it was visible, Jim and I went out every night to see it. It was so cool. It looked like a huge plane with no blinking lights. We thought we saw it tonight, and I tried to get some pictures, but it was pretty small. There are more chances through the beginning of May, so I hope to catch it soon.
The photo of the day is my buddies from today, the washer and dryer....

Ron turns 30 - 109/365

Our friend and neighbor was celebrating his 30th Birthday tonight!
Rachel and Ron's family, planned a SURPRISE party for him at Los Gallos. Although, it wasn't much of a surprise. Ron claimed he was onto them the day before the party...LOL!
Jim and I "acted" as decoy's for Rachel. We were supposed to meet them at Los Gallos, even though we live across the street, because we "had to drop Reagan off at my mom's". Jim sat at the bar and waited for them to come in, while I was supposed to be "checking out the banquet center" for a party for my own family. Ron came around the corner of the door and actually just waved at us all standing there! LOL!
It was a great party with lots of yummy Mexican food! The cakes were golf themed and delicious! Everyone had a great time! Happy 30th Birthday, Ron!
The photo of the day is Rachel and Parker singing Happy Birthday to Ron.....
While we were partying we noticed on the televsion that they caught the second Boston bombing suspect on a boat in a backyard in Watertown, MA. Nice getaway vehicle, sir.

Pond Partners - 108/365

Today was another normal day.
We hit up Old Navy to grab some summer flip flops. They have the BEST selection EVER. So many colors and so comfy!
Reagan has a new fascination with traffic lights. As we're driving along she will look for the next light and say "That one red, Nana?" "That one green, Mama?" We ask her what the color means and she gets them right every time! She announces every single light we pass. It's hilarious!
It was so gorgeous this evening (80 degrees), so we wanted to spend lots of time outside. Jim had a Rotary Board Meeting tonight, so Reagan, Brinkley and I were on our own. We decided to take a walk down to the pond at the front of the development. Over the last couple years, we've noticed that more and more goldfish are showing up. I'm not sure who put them in, but they are so cool. I'm not up on my types of fish, but there are also a TON of black/blueish smaller fish.
We saw a couple frogs, too! Actually, there was one frog that I was convinced was a freak of nature. It looked like it was conjoined twins. The one frog looked like it just had a another frog sitting on his back. When I looked closer, it got scared and swam away but the top frog stayed on. A little while later it came back and I got a closer look. The top frog looked like it didn't have any eyes and the front legs look like the grew into or out of the back of the bottom frog. The bottom frog looked healthy, other than the freaky frog on top. I don't know....bizarre!
Anyway, we had some leftover hotdog buns that we took with us to toss in. Reagan just got the biggest kick out of watching the fish eat the bread. They went crazy over it! She has a pretty good arm, too, when tossing it in! We spent nearly an hour just messing around down there. Brinkley just sat and took it all in. I think he was quite jealous that the fish got all the bread. LOL!
Jim finally came around the bend and caught us fishing,...lol, so we headed home and played outside with some chalk and learned letters. We also got to meet some new neighbors down the street who were really nice.
We had a real nice day, just enjoying this gorgeous weather!
The photo of the day is Reagan and Brinkley at the pond.....

I decided to add a photo of the freaky frog....

Growing Grass - 107/365

I noticed today that the grass suddenly shot up, almost overnight.
My mom and I had done our walk this morning and ran a few errands. We finished up pretty early so she said, if I wanted to cut the grass real quick, she would play with Reagan. There is a chance of rain the next couple days, so I took her up on her offer. It went pretty fast, only around 50 minutes, which is pretty good time! I just buzzed around listening to Lady Antebellum. Reagan and Nana were in the back waving while I was zipping by...LOL! I'm so happy to be back in the great outdoors and I really do like mowing! Now, just bring on the flowers!!
The photo of the day is Brinkley on the mower. He's going to try to take credit for the mowing...but I did do it...LOL!
Worth noting today, Brinkley got a his very own Mickey Mouse! We were at PetSmart picking up some stuff for the various pets and they had a whole display of Disney dog toys. We couldn't pass that up! He loves it!

Shopping Spree - 106/365

Today started with my mom coming to pick up Reagan to take her to music class.
Reagan was going to spend the day with my mom, so I could run some errands. We decided since it was nice, we would try to squeak in a walk before the rain and after music class. My mom picked me up around 10:30 and we hit the Kirk to Herbert trail. We got 3/4 of the way, when we heard a large clap of thunder. We immediately turned around and booked it back to the car. We were nearing the end of the trail when it started to sprinkle. By the time we made it down the hill to the car, it was a downpour. We packed everything up and were only a little bit wet, thank goodness!
Nana and Reagan headed back to her house and I hopped in the car to Kohl's. They were having an amazing sale, offering a 20% off Yes pass, on top of sale prices! Since it's Spring and almost Myrtle time, it's was the perfect excuse to grab some Spring tops. I got a ton of stuff! 2 pairs of capris (since I lost a pair in Piqua...LOL!) and a ton of tops. Some tops were on sale for as low as 5.99! SCORE!
Late this afternoon, my mom and dad took Reagan down to Grandma and Granddad's for a visit. They aren't feeling real good these days, so a visit from Reagan always cheers them up. Reagan brought mommy and daddy two stones from Grandad's driveway. She is all about rock collecting and loves to give presents!
While she was partying with all her grandparents this evening, Jim and I strolled around the neighborhood.
The photo of the day is some of my new tops and Reagan's rocks she brought us. They are laying on the green shirt...

Big Spring & Cavs - 105/365

It was a great day today!
My mom, Reagan and I went up to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens to check out Big Spring!
The minute you walked in the building you were just smacked with the most wonderful Spring smells. The ticketing lobby was filled with little carts with Tulips everywhere. When you walked into the main lobby, there were larger than life flowers and gardening tools. Some flowers had little butterflies on them and there were real hydrangeas everywhere. There were even flower print umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. It was gorgeous!
When you walked down the hall, they had a kids area where there was a maze made from hedges, a fish pond, a little stage and a tea party hut. Reagan loved the maze and got right through! The little stage was also a hit! They had fairy, butterfly, bee and parrot wings that the kids could try on and put on a show! She loved being the Monarch Butterfly. There was no one around, so she had the whole place to herself, it was great! After her "show" we went to the Mad Hatter Hut and she made us "tea."
Next, we headed outside to the Hershey Children's Garden. They had streamers everywhere in the trees. It was so pretty to see all the colors flowing in the breeze. We walked all around, but her favorite was the big goldfish pond, she even saw a frog swimming around!
When we were done at the gardens, we headed over to Legacy Village for lunch at Brio and a quick stop at Janie and Jack. The new giraffe line is to die for, and since Reagan LOVES giraffe's, we couldn't pass it up! We got our treasures and headed home. We got back around 3:00 and I had just enough time to put stuff away and get all spruced up for a date with Jimmy.
Jim's mom was nice enough to come over to spend the evening with Reagan, so we could set off to Cleveland for the CAVS game! Yep, two trips to Cleveland in one day...LOL! The Cavs were playing the Heat so we knew it would be an interesting game. We ended up having dinner at Bar Symon before the game, YUM! It was fan appreciation night and they were doing a lot of fun giveaways. We didn't win anything, of course...LOL!  The CAVS were actually winning for most of the game. They got a little behind in the fourth quarter but brought it back with a few minutes left. They were down by one with 13 seconds left. Kyrie got the ball and just stood on the arc dribbling! He finally went to make a move with 2 seconds left and lost the ball. The Heat grabbed it and it was game over! BOO! That's how it always ends in Cleveland, no matter who you are watching.
This CAVS season was fun because Jim and I made it to the home opener and the last home game!

The photo of the day is Reagan at Big Spring....

The bonus photo is the scoreboard at the end of the game, with a inserted picture of Lebron on the sidelines in his suit. Yes, they still won while Lebron sat on the bench. :(

Unfortunately, our great day was clouded by the unthinkable tragedy in Boston. The Boston Marathon was going on, and as runners were crossing the finish line, two bombs blew up in the crowd. 3 people died including an 8-year-old boy. 183 people were injured with many losing limbs.  What a unbelievable tragedy. I'm not sure what this world is coming to, it's so sad.
Our hearts go out to all the victims. ♥

Day in the Outdoors - 104/365

It was a nice sunny day today!
The temps were supposed to be in the mid 60's, but I don't think they quite got that high. It was still nice though!
Jim and Greg ended up taking advantage of the nice weather and hit the links at Candywood! It was Jim's first time out in almost a year. He was dealing with a herniated disc all last year, which kept him from playing. He played once in May last year and that was it. He said he felt like he had to relearn how to play...LOL!  Jim said he squeaked out a couple pars, which made him happy. Greg played really well, too! I guess his back is a little sore but doing OK. Hopefully he is able to get out more this year.
While he was out hitting the links, Reagan, Nana, Brinkley, Ray, Jen, Dexter and I, all hit the walking trail. We did Kirk to Herbert. We just love that trail and when you have a lot of people, the nearly 4 miles flies by! It was so nice to get out and chit chat with Ray and Jen. Reagan is always excited to see Dexter, too!
Another fun thing that happened today, was my new 105mm macro lens finally came in! My mom picked it up from YM yesterday and brought it over today! YAY! Perfect timing for Spring flowers and the beach! We don't have any flowers blooming in our yard yet, and I was dying to try it out. I ended up slicing a lemon and put it down in Sprite to get some bubbles! LOL! It turned out pretty good! I LOVE the lens and can't wait to experiment more!
There are three photos for today... the first photo is the lemon....

The second is all the "britts" at the trail...

And last, but not least...Jimmy and Greg hitting the links!

Magnolia Blossom - 103/365

I was hoping to be able to photograph the Northern Lights tonight, but it really did sound to good to be true.
I "liked" an astronomy page on Facebook, that is giving updates on the possible time it will happen, if at all. It's not looking good because the "BZ is not going negative." Whatever that means...LOL!
Anyway, today was just a regular day. It was kinda ugly and a little cooler. Jim, Reagan, Brinkley and I did get a walk in. We did the Kirk to Herbert trail which is around 4 miles. Other than that, we just played around the house and took naps...LOL!
Jim's mom and dad stopped over so we could film a "hello" to Guarino. They are taking a trip to Italy to visit some relatives over there, and wanted the family that's not traveling, to say hello on a video. Jim did really well with his Italian! Better than I could have done!
It didn't look too much like Spring today, but one thing that always makes me happy is when my Magnolia trees start to bloom. The buds really grew over the last couple days and the flowers are starting to open. They are so pretty and smell amazing!
The photo of the day (for now) is a Magnolia blossom....maybe changing to Northern Lights, but pretty doubtful...LOL!!

Eye Sore - 102/365

Last night, while I was at the concert, Jimmy was home taking care of the house.
He was taking his contacts out, while getting ready for bed, when he scratched his eye. His said his contacts were pretty dry and were kinda hard to get off, so he thought they caused a small scratch on his eye. He said it's started stinging almost immediately and was watering pretty good. He went to bed hoping it would improve this morning.
Unfortunately, it wasn't any better. It was acutally little worse for him. It was a little swollen and pretty pink compared to his other eye, so he went contact-less to work. It was bugging him all day and was pretty sensitive to light, which was a pain. At one point, he went in the bathroom to check it out and discovered it's actually a paper cut like scratch on his inner eyelid. OUCH!
Jim said he was even developing a headache from holding his head funny and squinting all day. I felt so bad. Reagan didn't help matters because she poked him in that same eye after bath tonight. He can't catch a break!
Today's picture is Jimmy's bad eye....

I love to add funny Reagan quotes when I can..
This morning, Jim and I both went in together to get her out of her crib. She was laying down when we opened her door. She shot right up when it opened. She sat up and blurted out, "I have a boo boo on mine leg. I want it off!" LOL!
She had fallen outside down at Ed & Pam's and scraped her knee a bit, I guess she's just tired of looking at it...LOL!

Carrie Underwood - 101/365

Carrie Underwood came to town today!
My mom and started home around 10:00 but not before we hit the Bob Evan's for breakfast!
We made a stop at the Easton Town Center on the way home, to visit the container store and use Gymbucks at the Gymboree! We had a great shopping trip and found lots of treasures!
My poor mom though had woken up with the "snoots." She has an allergy to mold/mildew and sometimes hotel air conditioning units will cause it to act up.
As we were driving from Columbus, I could tell my mom was feeling worse. Totally bummed, she decided to sit the concert out. I texted Rachel with like 45 minutes to spare before dinner and she said she could go! YAY! She was even nice enough to drive! LOL!
We hopped in the car and met Jen and Karen down at Cafe Cimmento before the show.  Rachel and I parked at the Covelli Center and as I was getting out of the car, I realized, I forgot my camera..huh! Jim, being the best husband ever, drove my camera downtown! How sweet was that!?
We had a great dinner with a crazy waitress. She was actually the bar tender filling in because it was packed! She loved kidding around with us. She was reading the specials, while I was going back and forth with Jim about the camera, and I wasn't really paying attention, so she gave me a good ribbing about that one. The food prep was a little slow because it was so busy before the show. When our food finally came, I decided to tease the waitress back. When she set down my food I said, "Oh, I ordered the special." She just looked in horror and said "huh." I said, "Yea, the special. I wanted that but I don't remember what it was." She started busting out laughing and collapsed down in the booth. She said, "I was thinking, you're going to be here another 45 minutes then"...LOL!
After dinner, it was off to the show! We got there and Hunter Hayes was already on the stage. I really like his song "Wanted", so I was excited to see him. He was really good!
Carrie Underwood came out with a bang. She opened with "Good Girl" and rose up out of the stage! She sang for a good hour and a half and was excellent! At one point, a piece of the stage actually rose up and traveled over the people on the floor. It was amazing! Carrie said they were having meetings about the tour and someone asked "If you could have one thing during this tour, what would it be?" She said "a flying stage, of course" and they made it happen! LOL!
She closed out with "Blown Away", which was fabulous! The big screens had a tornado and there was confetti toward the back of the stage. Where she was standing in the front, a "real" tornado blew up out of the stage right behind her! It was really something to see!
We had a great girls night out!
We were so happy Rachel could join us, but it would have been better with five girls, so momma could have come, too! Stupid allergies!
The photo of the day is Carrie!

 Here is her flying stage....
