This past Thursday, Reagan and I went to Tales for Tots at the Ford Nature Center. We learned all about spring flowers that day. All the kids got to paint their own pot and plant seeds of their choice. Reagan and I planted Marigolds because they look like the sun...LOL!
When we got home that day, we put the container on the window sill over the sink. We get great light there, so I was hoping it would work. We check it everyday and give it a tiny bit of water. When we checked it yesterday, it was still just dirt. Then today, like magic, there was one sprout! It is SO CUTE! Reagan was pretty excited, too! I don't think she quite understands but she said "Fower grow!"
I'm so proud of my little green thumb. She did such a great job planting them!
The photo of the day is our little marigold seedling, planted by Reagan.
A picture of her planting the seed is day 94/365
Another cute thing worth noting today was...Reagan and Brinkley were riding in the back seat coming home from the park. We hit a bumpy part of the road and Reagan said, "Whoa, Brinkwey hold on tight, this a bumpy wode." Then she said... "Brinkwey, how many are you? Seventween?" Where does she get this stuff!?
