Busy day today!
We started the day at Reagan's music class. She just absolutely loves it and I get to chit chat with the other girls. It's a win-win for everyone! After class, Nana met us and we did our walk on the Kirk to Herbert trail. After the walk, Reagan went to spend a couple hours at Nana's while I went up to Casal's to get a MUCH needed cut and color. It's amazing how just freshening up your "do" can make you feel brand new!
When Jim got home we headed out to Fair Park. Just as we were getting ready to load up, Rachel texted that they were also heading over there and asked if we wanted to join them. How perfect! The kids had a lot of fun! They hit up the slide, swings, and the crazy bouncing animals. Brinkley was all over poor Rachel. He must want to be her BFF because he just wouldn't leave her alone...LOL!
After the kids played awhile, Jim, Reagan, Brinkley and I were going to take a walk around the trails they have there. We started out OK, but within a few minutes, we were in a maze of mud. It was crazy! We thought for a second it would get better, but we were wrong. We turned it around and just called it a night. Guess that trail is more of a summer drought trail...LOL!
