This morning Nana and I started our day at a Bridal Shower. A good family friend, Michelle, is getting married! We just love Michelle and can't believe she's already getting married. Seems like yesterday we would all call her "little sister."
The shower was at Rachel's in Austintown and everything was perfect. We had a nice time catching up with JoAnn, Carol, Debbie and Kris. And of course, we loved seeing Pammy and Michelle.
We were so honored to be included in her special day. We wish her all the best.
While I was at the shower, Jim, Reagan and Brinkley had a lazy morning watching cartoons, before Reagan went to Jim's mom's for the afternoon. Jim's mom offered to take her during the Browns game, since it was the first one and against the Steelers. How great!
The game itself started out awful at halftime, the score was 27-3. I admit to even nodding off a bit during the first half.
The second half was amazing and totally unexpected. The Browns scored nearly 24 unanswered points. The game was tied 27-27 with nearly a minute left. We knew in our hearts that something terrible would happen. Of course the Steelers went down and scored a field goal with 47 seconds left on the clock. Heartbroken AGAIN, but we also have some hope, that maybe things won't be as bad as we thought!
The first picture is all the "Butler Wick Girls" at Michelle's shower.
Next, Jim, Reagan and Brinkley relaxing...
Finally, my family and I were sending sad and hopeful selfies to each other during the game. Here was one of my hopeful ones. LOL!
