Today, Nana, Jennifer, Pam, Mary Jane and I were off to VEGAS!
Mary Jane was meeting us there, of course! We were heading out there to see Rob Thomas, but discovered two other shows that we were going to try to see, too!
This morning, before we left though, Pam, Nana and I took Reagan to her Tales for Tots class at the Ford Nature Center. The topic was eggs. They went for a walk on the All Peoples Trail looking for Easter eggs next to stuffed animals that lay eggs. The kids loved it!
They also made the cutest craft. They took a paper plate and glued sticks, yard and hay around the edges. In the middle, they glued folded paper in the shape of an egg on to the plate. Then they got to pick three different animals that lay eggs, to glue in the egg. Reagan picked an eagle, alligator and snake. She was so proud.
Jim came home from work around three and we were off to the airport! The flight was about a half hour delayed, so we went and had some snacks and beverages at the Friday's in the terminal.
The flight itself was uneventful, which was good.
We got to Vegas, met Mary Jane and were off to find our ride. Jennifer got us a sweet ride to the hotel. We were cruising the strip in a LIMO, it was great!
We got to the Palazzo, checked in and were off to dinner. We went to Mon Ami Gabi and it was EXCELLENT. We were starving!
While we were sitting at dinner, we noticed that Rob Thomas was Twittering pictures from Vegas. We booked it down to the Wynn and found the area where he was wandering, but never got a sighting. Oh well! It was a fun first night in Vegas!
The photo of the day is us girls with our LIMO!
Next, Reagan at Tales for Tots.
