Today was boarding day!
We set over to the port around 10:00. We ended up parking in a preferred lot right next to the building, which was GREAT! We got right in and through security. We went to the check-in desk and within minutes, we were on the ship! Yahoo! We wanted to maximize our time on the ship to explore every square inch!
The ship itself was UNBELIEVABLE! Completely jaw dropping gorgeous!
We went straight to the concierge lounge to meet up with everyone else! We all had some snacks there and just celebrated finally being on the ship!
After we grabbed some snacks, we decided to hit the pool for a little bit! It wasn't crowded at all, which was great! We played a little bit in Nemo’s reef. Reagan really liked it! The have all the Nemo characters that squirt water and a little slide. It’s so fun!
Jim and I happened to noticed there wasn't a line for the AquaDuck, so we decided to give that a go. We walked right on! It’s a little intense at first, but a lot of fun! You don’t even realize you are out over the water off the ship! It’s too cool! We ended up going twice!
Our room was unbelievable! Very spacious and had two bathrooms! Our room happened to be all decked out for my birthday! We had a huge banner on the bed, a banner hanging from the ceiling. I also had flowers, wine, champagne, and chocolates waiting for me! Jim had called for some treats, as well as, nana and papa. I'm spoiled! It was so fun!
We also had a very cute tote waiting for us on our bed from Disney, for being silver Castaway Club members, since we have taken two Disney Cruises.
By now, it was time for Reagan’s nap. Jim stayed with her, while Nana and I decided to wander around the ship and explore. The ship is just HUGE! It takes forever to walk from one side to another! We hit all the nooks and crannies. It was fun!
Finally, it was time to go get ready for the sail away party. It was fun and Reagan loved dancing to all the fun music. She loved watching the characters do their routines, too!
After the sail away party, we met up with the Musilli crew. We decided to take the kids to the kids club where they could run around and play for a little bit. Reagan and Parker really enjoyed playing with the hula hoops the best. It was funny!
After that, we took the kiddos to meet Sailor Mickey Mouse! It's always fun to see the big mouse!
We had dinner at the Royal Palace tonight and it was excellent. Most everyone got the filet and was very happy with their dinners! The atmosphere was nice, too! The bread baskets were little Cinderella carriages. Too cute!
After dinner, the kids met Pluto, then we went to the family dance party. The kids had a blast running all around! It was a hoot. Reagan kept going around this big ramp. She had to do it 100 times. Too funny!
The Musilli’s decided to call it a night, and we went to the Golden Mickey show in the theater. It was a fantastic show. They did scenes from Toy Story, Tarzan, Little Mermaid, Rapunzel and others. Reagan was totally mesmerized by the whole thing. She watched every second! The adults loved it, too!
After that, we called it a night! We wanted to get ready for the next day!
The photo of the day is Reagan and Parker with the hula hoops!
Next, my room decorations for my birthday!
