Today was the day, Reagan's FOURTH birthday party!
The day was fit for the theme...FROZEN!
We woke up to snow, snow and more snow. I grabbed the keys to the hall at 7:30am and we started to decorate. Nana, Pam, Ray and Jenny were all there to help! We have it down to a science!
It went smoothly and looked BEAUTIFUL!
About an hour before the party it was snowing so hard, you could barely see out the window. I was a nervous wreck for everyone having to drive in it, but was sad because I thought people wouldn't make it. Pretty much everyone made it, since most were local. YAY!
The party itself was WONDERFUL! The kids, and adults, all had a good time. Anna and Elsa even stopped by. The kiddos were stoked about that! They danced, sang, gave the kids tattoos, and played a hot potato game. They loved it!
Anna and Elsa stayed and helped sing happy birthday to Reagan. After she blew out her candles, Reagan and her little girlfriends started licking her cake. We always get Reagan a little "smash" cake for her to have. They were just all having a good time tasting it. It was hilarious! Reagan even took a bite of her Frozen candle thinking it was candy. Now, THAT, was HILARIOUS!

After the party, we got everything cleaned up and we went to our 2nd annual Corn Dog Festival. Last year, we went for a couple beers after the party and ended up at BW3. It worked out great, so we decided we will do it every year! We love the mini corn dogs, they are to DIE for!
Jim and Reagan were going to come, but the roads were a little tricky, so Jim just thought he would just her cleaned up and hang out a bit.
Nana, Ed, Pam, Ray, Jenny and I all headed over to the Austintown B-dubs for our snacks! We had a great time and it was a great way to wind down from the party.
When I got home at 10:00, I kissed Reagan good night and headed off to bed myself. Around 11:30 Jim was just lying down when he started to hear Brinkley throw up. We got that all cleaned up and settled back into bed.
Around 1:30 we woke up to the same noise. He threw up again! We tried to get him into our bathroom, to save the carpet from anymore damage. When we got him in the bathroom, he ended up having diarrhea all over the floor. We screamed in shock and he ran into our bedroom where he ended up going potty AGAIN!!
I was horrified and I could have just sat down and cried. I didn't even know where to begin cleaning up. Jim took Brinkley downstairs and got him outside. Then into the laundry room.
Jim is better at the "chunks", so he got all that cleaned up and then I started on the numerous stains around the room. I was using my handy dandy steam cleaner, when of course it decided to malfunction and spew dirty water on the floor. It was awful.
In the meantime, Jim decided to take Brinkley to the 24 hour vet on Salt Springs Road. They ran a few tests and diagnosed him with a stomach virus. They gave him an IV treatment, a nausea shot, and some pills. Hopefully, he'll be good as new.
By the time Jim got home and I was through cleaning, it was nearly 4:30AM. We both took showers and laid back down until Reagan got up at 8:30, thankfully her party had worn her out, so she slept in a bit.
I suppose, technically, some of this story belongs in tomorrow's blog, but we start our day after we have gone to bed and get up! LOL!
Crossing our fingers for Brinkley!
And the carpet, is so getting replaced in the SPRING yuck!!!
