Off to DISNEY - 184/365

We are so excited! We're off to Disney for the 4th of July weekend!
We couldn't wait to get there, but, were a little nervous about the crowds. We know Disney well enough that we hoped we could navigate around them. Really, we didn't care, as long as we were there!
Our flight was smooth and right on time!
We got into Florida to beautiful weather! It was hot, but nothing worse than we are used to.
We were excited to be staying at Coronado Springs again. We love that resort. It's big, but so great! We were happy to get a room right next to the main building, so heading to the food court and gift shop was a breeze.
We got settled in, took a nap, and headed off to the Magic Kingdom! But first, we stopped at the Transportation and Ticket Center to pick up Reagan's very own Disney World Annual Pass. Woohoo! She was so excited to be a pass holder!
We were PUMPED to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for the first time. What an amazing job they did. We all just loved it! It goes pretty fast for a "kiddie coaster" and the section with the dwarfs is amazing! We can't wait to ride it over and over.
To close out the night we got to see the castle all done up in 4th of July lights for the weekend! It was so cool to see the castle all patriotic!
We had a great first day at the park!

Passholder Magic Bands - 147/365

Today, Reagan was going to spend the day with Nana, since she hadn't seen her for a couple days. Nana picked her up, they went to Bob Evan's for her Piggy Pancake, then back to Nana's for the day. They had a fun day playing games and toys. Reagan even helped Nana spread some grass seed on the spot in the yard where they had to replace a pipe. She just loves helping.
Jim and I got an exciting surprise today, our Disney World annual passholder magic bands came! Woohoo! The box was super cool! We even got little yellow cards with our names on them to present for our annual pass discounts and parking. There was also a little decoration slider to wear on our bands that say passholder. We were so stoked! Disney does everything so detailed. We love it!
This evening, I had my last MOPS meeting for the summer. We had an ice cream social theme, everyone made their own sundaes! Too fun!
After the meeting, Marissa, Melissa and Deanna went up to Inner Circle in Canfield to have a couple drinks and a snack. It was nice!
Jim and Reagan had a fun evening playing toys. She wore her Elsa gown all night...she's a hoot!

Annual Passholder Magnet - 344/365

Today was a busy morning!
I had my MOPS meeting and it was my table's turn to bring the food. Since it was the morning meeting, we were doing breakfast. I had planned on making a breakfast casserole, but when I woke up, I didn't have the energy. I made a quick dial to Bob Evans and ordered a bunch of pancakes. When I went to pick them up, I realized they messed up the order and I only had 20 pancakes. In a panic, I scrambled to find something else to bring. There is a Dunkin Donuts close by, so I ran in there and got some assorted bagels. I ended up being about 10 minutes late for the meeting, but it all worked out. We didn't have a speaker or anything today, so we were just able to chit chat at our tables. It was nice!
This afternoon, Reagan and I just played and then we both took naps. I was still SO tired from our trip. I actually put pajamas on and went up in the bed, it was that serious of a nap. LOL! Reagan and I both, just passed out. LOL!
This evening when Jim got home from work, we just hung around the house. We played a game of Candy Land and had some dinner.
Jim went out to get the mail and was excited when he came back in. Mickey had sent us some Annual Passholder information. We are still so excited to be annual passholders. In our little packet, was an annual pass magnet we had seen on some cars down at Disney. We really wanted one, but all the cast members we asked, didn't know how to get one, or even what we were talking about. It was SO EXCITING to have it show up in the mail! Woo hoo!
The photo of the day is our new Disney World Annual Passholder Magnet.

Annual Passes and a Broken Lens - 313/365

Today was travel day!
Jim, Reagan and I were heading down to Florida to spend some time with Mickey. We hadn't done a trip just the three of us this year, so we were wanting to get away.
When we got up, we just spent some time getting everything ready. I hate coming home from vacation to a dirty house, so we did a lot of cleaning! LOL!
We got to the airport and through security, without any problems. It was nice! We even got to go through a line where we could leave our shoes on. That, is a big plus when you bring as much crap as we do.
When we got to our gate, there was a great little, kids table right there. Reagan ended up making two little friends. All three of them sat together playing iPad. It was such a hoot!
After flying to Seattle, this plane ride felt like nothing! Up and down - we were there! Reagan was a perfect angel on the plane. We landed in Orlando a little early, which was great! We grabbed our bags and car and were on the way.
We always stop at Walmart to get pull-ups, wipes, snacks, water, juice and BEER! LOL! We were rolling right along and got to the "speedy checkout" line. You were supposed to have 20 items or less. The guy in front of us, BLATANTLY blew off that rule! He had a whole buggy full of stuff! It was like, "come on, man!" After he finally got on his way, we were on ours.
Next, we were heading to Downtown Disney to grab our ANNUAL PASSES! Yes, we finally bit the bullet and purchased annual passes! Woo hoo! We are so excited! You got to pick the character you wanted on your pass. Jim picked, Donald. I, of course, wanted, Mickey! We really feel like a part of Disney now. It's too exciting!
I also hit the Photopass Station to activate our Photopass Plus. We would now be all set for tomorrow!
We were finally off to check into our resort! We were staying at the Art of Animation Resort this time. Since we were staying a full week, we thought it would be nice to have a family suite. That way Reagan has her own room. Plus, the theme-ing is so cute for the little ones. They really get a kick out of it. We were staying in the Nemo section, which was great because it's close to everything!
While, Jim was checking in, Reagan and I decided to hit the restroom. I had my camera on a low, kids hook in the stall. Reagan and I were trading spots, when it got bumped and came crashing down to the floor. I picked it up and the whole front glass was SHATTERED! I was sick and heartbroken. I have two other lenses with me, but this was my everyday, most versatile lens. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was just my UV filter that was shattered. I tried to unscrew it, but it was a no go. It was bent on one side and wasn't going anywhere. Now, I had to figure out how to get all the broken glass off, since it THANKFULLY, was still taking pictures! WHEW! When we got up to the room, I pulled the rest of the glass out with some tweezers. The lens itself has a loose spot, but it should get me through the week.
Finally, it was time to see our room. It was so adorable and HUGE! We love it! It is all decorated in Nemo. The little night stand lights are jellyfish and the mirrors in the bathroom look like portholes. Too cute! It's all those special touches that Disney does that makes every stay more magical. We love it and it will be a great home away from home!
The photo of the day is our annual passes!
 Next, is my shattered lens....
