Oktoberfestival Day - 270/365

Today was a busy day for Jim!
He headed out at 6am to run the Boardman Rotary Oktoberfestival!
This is Rotary's biggest fundraiser and the day couldn't have been more perfect! It was a gorgeous, sunny day. It was packed, too!
This was the first time in a couple years that the Browns didn't have a home game, so Reagan and I were able to head out to visit and support Jim, and do a little shopping, too! Nana, Pam and Jenny all came along, as well! Family fun!
We found Jim in his post and got to say hello. He was checking people into the beer tasting pavilion today. Reagan was so excited to see daddy working! She ran right up to him!
Us girls then went strolling around to do a little shopping. We found a lot of wonderful treasures! We even ran into a vendor that had a pet skunk! She had it wrapped in a blanket and was petting it while people were checking out her stuff. It was so funny! Reagan was fascinated!
After some shopping, we decided to stop at the concession area to get a little snack. I texted Jim and he was able to come over and visit with us for a little bit. YAY!
Finally, we headed out, because I was taking some senior pictures for a family friend at Mill Creek Park. They went great and I can't wait to see how they turn out once edited!
Jim finished his day at the Oktoberfest, on parking duty. He had a yellow vest and all! He looked great! He said that overall the Oktoberfest was great and he thinks this was one of the better years! Good for them!
This evening, Jim was taking Brinkley for a walk and told me there was an absolutely GORGEOUS sunset! I was so happy I got a chance to snap a great pic! It was one of the prettiest I've seen around here!

Busy Day - 268/365

It was a busy day for everyone today!
Reagan and Brinkley started their day cuddling while I got ready. I love how they cuddle together. It's SO CUTE! They sure have a special bond.
After I got ready, we were off to gymnastics. She just loves it. Her and her teacher Miss Mandy have a special bond, too. They just love each other.
After nastics, Reagan and I went to have a special lunch together. We just went to Wendy's, but it was still fun to go just her and I. We love our special time together.
For dessert, we went to Reagan's second favorite place, Yumberries. When we were done she wanted to write her name on the blackboard there. She did fantastic. Everyday she is learning or getting better at doing something. It's amazing to witness.
While we were off doing that. Jim spent the day setting up the Boardman  Rotary Oktoberfestival. As president, he wanted to be out there as much as he could. He's doing such a great job and he really does like helping with this fundraiser. Especially since it's their biggest money maker of the year.
They are going to have awesome weather this year, too!
This evening, we were all meeting Nana, Papa, Ray, Jenn, Ed & Pam for dinner. We went over to Rachel's in Austintown. We had a great Family Fun dinner. Mr. Fuzzy even got to try wine for the first time! YUM!

Browns & Oktoberfestival - 272/365

Yet another busy one today!
Jim was working at the Boardman Rotary Oktoberfestival. This is their biggest fundraiser of the year. If it goes well, it really helps them donate a lot of money to local charities.
Luckily this year, they had great weather and Jim said the crowd was huge, which was great. He worked a couple different jobs this year. He took money at the entrance, as well as, working the PA system. He made all the announcements throughout the afternoon. He went out at 6:30AM and didn't get home until 5:00ish. It was a long day for him, but for a good cause.
Meanwhile, Nana and I were off to Cleveland to watch the Browns take on the Bengals! Papa was sitting this game out. Ed and Pam were joining us, along with my mom's friends, Joyce and Denny, along with their two kids.
We got to the stadium right at 11:00 and had our tailgate. It was so fun having everyone there, especially Ed and Pam. We hadn't seen them in awhile. We had a great time catching up.
They were so sweet and ended up bringing Reagan a whole set of the new Wizard of Oz, Happy Meal toys from McDonald's. They are part of the 75th anniversary celebration. They didn't even have to buy, and eat, Happy Meals to get them, but they did have to go to two McDonald's. Reagan was so excited!
On to the game, the stadium seemed filled with hope, after our win last week. The Browns came out swinging and ended up winning 17-6. Even with, missing two field goals! Boy, do we miss Dawson! Anyway, the win was AMAZING and SUPER FUN! We were just screaming and clapping the whole game! It's so cool to see what a few touchdowns can do for the atmosphere of the stadium! Hoyer is surly becoming the hometown hero. Let's hope he can keep it up and not get hurt.
Pam kept photo bombing the people sitting right in front of us. It was hilarious! Her little head was right in the middle of their two, every time they took a picture. The lady even ended up posting it on Facebook. Pam is famous! LOL!
At halftime, we got a bar top table and chatted with Ron and Rachel a bit. It's cool to have them in our section now.
After the game, we popped in the team shop. Then, went out to meet Zach and his buddies. He had three Bengals fans with him. LOL!
Reagan had a good day, too! Grandma came to pick up Reagan this morning, then they went and spent the day at her house. Reagan just loves playing with Timmy and Papa. They had a GREAT day! Grandma even got her a little Dora Halloween video. Talk about excited!

Next is our little crew at the game...
Finally, the girls at halftime...
Last but not least, the Wizard of Oz toys! Thanks Aunt Pam and Uncle Ed!
