New Bike & Haunted Wagon Rides - 296/365

Today, Reagan got to take a real spin on her new Tinkerbell bike! She is SO excited to have a big girl bike. All she wants to do is go cruising on her bike.
She does really good! Although, she gets a little spooked if she starts going a little too fast. Instead of coasting, she will just come to a complete stop and then start up again. It's too cute! She looks darling in her little helmet, too! We can't believe she's big enough to be riding a bike! Where did the time go!?
This evening, we took our annual trip to Boardman Park for the Haunted Wagon Rides. They are family friendly, so perfect for the little ones. Reagan enjoyed herself, but did say she was a little scared.
After the wagon rides, we went over to the bonfire area and spent some time making a few S'mores. We love S'mores. Reagan is funny though. She eats hers in pieces and doesn't roast her marshmallows. LOL!
After that, we decided to head over to Rise Pies and check it out. We got to know Eddie, through some mutual friends and have been wanting to check it out. Well, we absolutely loved it! Terrific and FAST pizza. Can't beat it! We will for sure be back!
We wish him all the best with his new business.
First our little sweetie on her new bike!
Loving the streamers!

Dinner With the Easter Bunny - 99/365

Today, Nana and I finally got back to the trail with Reagan and Brinkley! I didn't even fall down! It was great!
This evening, Jim, Reagan and I went to Boardman Park to have dinner with the Easter Bunny! It was a cute little event. They did crafts, visited with the bunny and had dinner of chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, corn, apple sauce and lots of cookies. The kids loved it!
Every kid received a special egg from the bunny. Inside was a coin for a free kids meal from the new Texas Roadhouse in Boardman! We can't wait to try it out!
We had a great time!
A cool pic from after our walk, too!

Dinner with Santa - 338/365

Today, Reagan and I spent the day running some errands.
I had a few things to get for the cruise and I wanted to get Jim and Reagan some groceries to have while I was gone. We had a fun little adventure just her and I.
This evening, Jim, Reagan and I were having dinner with Santa at Boardman Park! It was a cute little event.
In the main dining room, they had the tables all decorated for Christmas and Rudolph playing on a big screen. Reagan was totally into it! They had a buffet of chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, and corn. They also had a veggie tray, applesauce, along with, cookies and cupcakes.
After we ate, we headed into the "play" room. Santa was in there for pictures and a chat with the kids. Reagan ran right over to him and hopped up on his lap! It was adorable, she snuggled right up there.
After she visited with him, we moved over to the craft tables. She decorated a gingerbread girl with stickers and did a great job. All the important parts went in the right place! She made a little foam winter penguin ornament, too! Her favorite project was a snow measuring stick. It was a little paint stirrer they turned into a snowman. It was adorable. She had the best time gluing all the pieces on. When it was time to go, she was pretty upset. She said, "I want to stay at this place!" When we finally got her to agree to go, she did want to run over to Santa and say thank you for dinner. It was SO CUTE! We all had a great time!
Once we got in the car, we took a ride through the park to check out the Christmas lights. She LOVED them. Her favorite was Santa's sleigh with Rudolph leading the way. We ended up driving through a couple times.
When we got home, Reagan and I had some special time, since I wasn't going to see her for a couple days. We had a special bath and cuddled in mommy's bed watching a Christmas DVD. It was so nice to get some snuggle time in.
Jimmy and hung out later and watched some of our favorite DVR'd shows. It was a nice way to spend the evening. I'm going to miss them SO MUCH!!!
The photo of the day is us with Santa.
Next, her and her projects...

Haunted Wagon Ride - 291/365

It was Friday morning and that means, gymnastics.
She really seems to like it and was all pumped up. We were going through our stations and came to where we were supposed to practice cartwheels. I lifted her legs up, but she must have got her finger stuck or twisted, because she immediately started crying. She was just holding it and bawling. I felt so bad. I was worried she broke it or something. Once we got her calmed down, I asked her to move it and she did without crying, so she must have just stubbed it.
We eventually went back onto the gym floor. She looked up at me and said, "Mama, I want to try it again to see if it won't hurt this time." I was so proud of her! She walked right back over to the cartwheel station and asked me to help her. I was so amazed and proud. We went through the cartwheel and did it. She yelled in happiness, "It didn't hurt this time!" My heart just melted! Love that little munchkin.
Her little friend Sydney, came and gave her a big hug to make sure she was OK, too! It was so sweet!
This evening, Jim, Reagan and I were going to go to the Family Friendly Haunted Wagon Rides at Boardman Park. We had won some free tickets from a Facebook contest. That in itself was exciting, we never win anything!
Anyway, we went last year and had a great time, so we were excited.
They had a pumpkin carve-out contest last weekend, so all the pumpkins were on display. Reagan loved looking at them. They were really cool and the people did a great job. Her favorite was wearing a scarecrow hat.
After we checked the pumpkins out, we went over to the bonfire. They had smores packets, marshmallows, and hot dog packets you could buy to roast. We just chose the plain marshmallows. Reagan helped roast them, but didn't want to eat them after they were cooked, she just wanted the plain ones. LOL! I don't think she likes that they turn black.
Next, we spent some time letting Reagan jump in the bounce house, while the other one waited in line. She loved the bounce house.
Finally, it was our turn for the wagon ride. We always make a "bah" sound when we're rough playing with Brinkley, so we told her, the people in the woods would be in their costumes making the same noise. She did great last year, but they can change in an instant, so we didn't know how she would react. We were in the front of the wagon, so we could see everything coming up. She really did get a kick out of it. She would say, "What are they doing?" and just kind of laugh. We were so proud of her! She wasn't afraid at all.
We had a really fun evening! We were glad we went!
The photo of the day is us at the wagon rides....
Next, is Reagan with the pumpkins.
Finally, Reagan and her friend Sydney after her injury. She's still holding her little hurt finger straight out in the picture. :(

Family Fun Day - 206/365

We had family fun with Ed and Pam today!
First though, Reagan was thrilled because she got to see her friend Dexter! We picked him up from his beauty appointment and delivered him home. Reagan just loves that little guy!
Anyway, we spent the day tooling around Mill Creek Park. We decided to stop down at the Lily Pond to see what was going on. We brought some bread to see if we could entice any fish that may have survived the devastation over the weekend. We walked around the entire pond and only saw one yellow fish. He was kind of far away, but you could definitely tell he was swimming around. Uncle Ed strolled down the path with us, and then took a break on a bench. Reagan hopped right up and just chatted with him. She just loves her Uncle Ed. When we headed back to the car, there was a gang of geese right near there. They were kind of being mean to a duck and it made Reagan mad. She even talked about it at bed time. :(
After the pond, we just drove around a little bit checking out the park. Ed and Pam hadn't been through there in awhile and it was a beautiful day for a drive. We drove by Lake Glacier where they were doing boat rides. We saw a pontoon boat and inquired, but couldn't get on today. Boo!
After driving around awhile, we decided we were hungry. We decided to have lunch at O'Charley's to visit our friend Cindi. We had a great lunch and a great chat with our friend! It was great to see her!
Our last stop was to Classic Bakery. I wanted to get a cake for the picnic this evening. Pam came in to get some cookies for the road. She was waited on by a crabby old lady. She asked Pam how many cookies she wanted and Pam said she wasn't sure. The lady just kind of grumbled and said, "well I guess I'll just start with this box, then if I need another..." I was already done, so I laughed and headed back out to the car. Pam came out and said the old lady kept up her grumbley attitude the whole time. She was even giving her a hard time about cream puffs...LOL! Chill out and have a cookie, old lady!
This evening, Jim, Reagan and I went to a Boardman Rotary Picnic at Boardman Park. They had it at one of the little pavilions in the back. They grilled hot dogs and everyone brought a side or a dessert. It was fun! Reagan made a little friend, too. They were running around picking up all the sticks in the field. LOL! Reagan even got to meet Boardman Rotary's most famous Rotarian, Mary Lou.
When we got home, Jim and Reagan ran back out to the store to pick up a few things I forgot to get today. What a great hubby! While they were gone, I noticed there were a couple honey bees on my black eyed susan's. I pulled out my macro lens and had some fun! Honey Bees are slowly disappearing, so I was excited to see one!
It was a perfect day!
There are a couple photos for today... The first is Uncle Ed and Reagan chilling at the Lily Pond
The next is Reagan and Mary Lou at the Boardman Rotary Picnic...
And finally my honey bee picture...

Egg Elegance - 82/365

Boardman Park was hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt this morning! We took Reagan last year and while she enjoyed it, she was still a bit small to keep up with the other kids. We wanted to take her again this year and she was so excited.
She had quite the little posse that came out to watch her "hunt". Nana, Papa, Jenny, Greg, Daddy, and of course, Mommy was there to support the little hunter! They hold it in the Bocce court for ages 2 and under. The weather wasn't too bad, it was chilly in the shade but not uncomfortable. There was a ton of kids, but they had plenty for everyone. After the hunt was over we headed over to the Laricca Center to support daddy and the Boardman Rotary for their second weekend of the Pancake Festival! We had yummy pancakes and Reagan was having fun opening her eggs to see what treasures awaited her. She of course got candy, a few rubber bracelets and her absolute favorite was the three "rings" she got. I think her favorite of the three was the skull, but she also enjoyed the Pirates of the Caribbean. We were driving home and I hear a distressed voice coming from the backseat saying "Oh NOOOO! I dwopped my pirate wing!" We recovered it and all is well!
The photo of the day is Reagan and her new "bling!"
