Akron Golf & Menchies - 218/365

Jim and Greg were heading up to the Akron golf tournament today.
It was the first round of thr Bridgestone Invitational. They brought stadium chairs and spent a lot of time sitting and watching the players go through two at a time. They got close to all the famous players and enjoyed a great day in the sun.
While they were doing that, Reagan and I were off to gymnastics! She was doing her make-up session today since she missed Tuesday for Myrtle Beach. She still loved it even though she didn't know too many kids in this class. She was happy because she got to see Miss Mandy for a few minutes!
After that, we went to run a few errands around town and made a pitstop at Menchies for Reagan! She loved it!
It was a great day for all!

Nap Time & a Sparkler - 176/365

Today we were going to run a few errands to try to finish up Reagan's room. We've been dragging her to a lot of stores, so we made sure we made a stop at her favorite place today, MENCHIES! She just loves it there. Today she was so into it, her face was all the way down in the cup!
Our last stop of the day was Bed, Bath and Beyond. I wanted to get a couple sham pillows for Reagan's room. We found a couple and tossed them in the buggy. Reagan made herself a little bed in there. She was almost taking a nap, she was so comfy.
This evening, we let Reagan do some sparklers in the back yard, in her pajamas. It was quite a hoot. She was like a little hillbilly baby back there. It was awesome. She had a blast and I suppose that's all that matters!

Menchies & Sushi - 172/365

It was a Nana day for Reagan today! Jim and I were both doing our respective work. LOL!
Reagan and Nana started their day at Giant Eagle. Reagan had to try out every patio chair they had on display, along with her fairies.
They went back to Nana's and played just about everything. They had a great day.
This evening they had dinner at Stonebridge since Nana and Papa go there every Monday and Tippy is closed on Monday. All the Stonebridge workers were happy to see little Reagan.
After they had dinner, they took a ride up to Reagan's favorite place Menchies! She loves taking Papa there!
While they were off having dinner. Jim and I went on a little date. We went to see San Andreas and then had dinner at Sawa after. The movie really was good. There were some parts that made you say, "Eh, this is a little farfetched." At least you hoped.
Sawa was delicious. Our favorite was the sweet potato sushi. YUM! Jim is happy because I'm starting to come around on the sushi! LOL!

Rainbow House - 146/365

Mark was here to paint today. He was power washing the sidewalk and porch. Painting the front door and sprucing up the stucco on the house. Everything was coming along and looking great.
We decided to go to a darker color on the stucco instead of the cream it was. We picked a color that we thought complimented the house. I liked the dark, but staring at the house, something just wasn't right. I just couldn't get a grip on the color of the house. I liked it, but yet I didn't. It was weird. Ultimately, we decided that it just wasn't right, so we are changing it again. Mark was fantastic about it, since he wasn't quite sure either. We are going to go more of a gray. Hope that works! LOL!
Meanwhile, Reagan spent the day with Nana. She was in her glory since they went to her favorite place, Menchies.
This evening, they did their Wednesday night at Tippy. It was finally nice enough that they could get out on a cart ride. She loves it.
This evening, we decided to put the old tractor out at the curb since it was garbage night. We new Allison Brothers wouldn't take it. But we have scavengers that drive through our neighborhood and will take just about anything. We put a sign on it that it was free to good home, but the mowing deck was bad. It wasn't a half hour we got a knock on the door. Someone wanted it for their buddy and he came to get it within the hour. It was great! BYE tractor. Hope it does OK for that guy. He didn't seem worried about it.

Tour of Boardman - 135/365

This evening we were bored. There isn't much to do around here on any given evening, so we had to make the best of it. We decided to do a little tour of Boardman.
We were hungry and Reagan has been into pizza lately, so we decided to start at Rise Pies. She's been pretty proud of herself because she's starting to eat pepperoni. She was so excited about her pizza!
After dinner, we decided to head out to Sports World to ride the Go Carts. She LOVED it! She rode with daddy and then with mommy. She said she went faster with daddy. Mommy was a bit of a chicken.
After two rides, we went inside to play a few games. She is loving skee ball lately, so she played a couple games of that. She got enough tickets for two cloth bracelets, a ring and some candy. She was pumped.
The last place we hit was Menchies! Reagan's favorite place besides Disney World! YUM!
We ended up having a pretty fun evening. Nothing better than Family Fun!

Birthday's! - 64/365

Today is Brinkley's birthday! He turns 7 today! SEVEN! He is just the best dog and we love him so much! Reagan is just, over the moon, crazy about him! They have so much fun together! We always like to have a party for him, but today was kind of a busy day, so we said we would do it on Sunday. We have no plans for a change, so it's the perfect time!
This afternoon, we did a little running around before ballet. Reagan wanted to pick out some presents for Brinkley's birthday! She picked out three special ones for her brother. After, we had a little time to kill, so we stopped at Menchies for Reagan. She is into Menchies. So much so, that she basically got into her cup while we were there. LOL!
She did much better at ballet this week. She really was on her best behavior after our long talk from last week.
This evening, Ray, Jenny, Nana, Papa, Jim, Reagan and I all went to have dinner at Rachel's in Austintown for Papa's birthday celebration! We had a lovely dinner. It was fun!
Reagan used Nana's phone to take a couple pictures. She's really doing well! We didn't get any pictures of the birthday boy though! Blogging FAIL!
Reagan will all the toys she picked out for Brinkley.

Brio, Menchies & Manicures - 293/365

Busy day today!
Reagan went off to school for black day! She just loves the color days!
They studied diamonds, number three and enjoyed the Gymsters program today!
They loved it!
After school, Nana, Reagan and I went up to Crocker Park to meet Ally and Nikki for a girl's day!
We started off with lunch at Brio. The girls were so cute eating their buttery noodles, coloring and playing with Halloween stickers. They have the best little conversations.
After lunch, they wanted to go over to Menchies, like we always do! We all had some Menchies, then the girls did some dancing while we chatted.
After Menchies, the girls begged to go get manicures. We told them we'd go over and see if we could get in without an appointment. Sure enough, they could take them. They were so excited! They both picked out orange for Halloween, with sparkles on top. They were so excited.
When we told them it was time to go after they dried their nails for a few minutes, they kept saying, "No, just a few more minutes." They love hanging out together!
We had a great day!

Menchies and Golf - 266/365

Today was another Nana play day!
They ran some errands and stopped at Reagan's favorite place... MENCHIES.
Every time we drive by she points it out. It was one of the last nice warm days, so they decided to stop and eat outside.
This evening, they went to dinner at Tippy. After dinner, they took a cart ride around the course and played on a couple putting greens. Reagan kept score and was excited to show us when she got home.
She had a great day!

Bark at the Park - 200/365

Reagan was still at Nana and Papa's this morning. She woke up and they hit the trail first thing with Brinkley. Reagan loves the 3mile trail in Mill Creek. She loves parking in the middle so you have to walk over the bridge to get to the path. She's always checking for ducks.
After their stroll, they went back home to get cleaned up and hit Menchies, before coming home. Reagan loves Menchies and was so excited to take Papa to her favorite place!
This evening, Greg, Nikki, Ray, Jenn, Dexter, Rachel, Ron, Parker, Milana, Jim, Reagan, Brinkley and I. All went to Bark at the Park tonight. This was the third year we've done it. It's always so fun!
Brinkley is usually pretty good and enjoys all the snacks people drop! Ron and Rachel happened to have these magic bracelets, from their insurance company at McHenry. They got you free specific types of foods, like hot dogs, popcorn and nachos. They were nice enough to let our whole crew use their bracelets. It was great!
The kids also got to play in the Kids Zone where they have a bounce around and a HUGE inflatable slide. They spent a lot of time going on the slide. They weren't even afraid! They even got to meet Scrappy!
Adults, Kids and dogs all had a wonderful time. We're already looking forward to next year!

Alexandra's 5th Birthday! -56/365

Today we were heading up to Crocker Park to help Alexandra celebrate her FIFTH birthday!
FIVE! We can't believe she's five! It's amazing how fast time goes! She is growing up into the sweetest little girl and always keeps us laughing. We just love her! Reagan just loves spending time with her, too!
Ally had been wanting to get a manicure and pedicure, so Nikki promised her she would take her for her birthday, and asked if we would like to join her! Of course we said, YES!
We met at 11:00 at Anthony Vince Salon at Crocker Park. We were lucky enough to get a parking spot right outside and walked in right on time. It was a really nice place with a ton of spots. The employees were so great with the girls. They got them all set up and got started. Ally and Reagan both, picked one color for their toes and one color for their fingers. They both sat like little angels through the whole thing, too! They were totally into it. Reagan chatted with her nail tech quite a bit. It was so adorable. The girls were so excited because they put little dotted flowers and some sparkles on their finger nails. They just had an absolute blast and felt like big girls!
The nail techs just loved them and asked to have their pictures with them at the end.
After their mani/pedi we went over to Brio for lunch. We had a great time just chit chatting and the girls were perfect angels there, too! They both had "buttery noodles" and colored some pretty pictures.
Us big girls, had some lunch as well and enjoyed an adult beverage. YUM!
After lunch, we headed over to Ally and Reagan's favorite, Menchies, for dessert! They just love that place! Reagan picked out blueberry ice cream with gummy bears and chocolate chips.
It was so adorable because Nikki said that Ally called today her "best day ever!" Nana, Reagan and I are so honored we could help share in her "best day ever." She is such a little sweetie. It was great to spend her birthday with her. Her and Reagan get along so well, it's wonderful!
Our fun day hit a speed bump on the way home. Nana, Reagan and I were on 80, in between the Meander bridge and the route 46 exit, when a silver van in front of us swerved a bit, then shot out a big black thing. Here, a semi truck that was up ahead blew a tire and an ENORMOUS chunck of it (pretty much the whole thing) was in the road. The van hit it, which made it bounce up and then we hit it and ran it over. It made the loudest sound and scared the crap out of us. We really didn't think much of it right then, but as we kept going, Nana said, I hope it didn't smash the front of the car.
Once we got to my house, she hopped out to check for damage, while I unloaded everything. Unfortunately, her front bumper had a pretty good crack in it. She'll need to get a whole new bumper put on. It was such a bummer. We noticed it also pushed her running board back a little bit, too. UGH.
It was amazing how big and how hard we hit it. We thought we mostly went over it, but apparently not. Oh well, we're just happy the bumper had a crack in it and not our heads. We're lucky it didn't pop up and smash the window. Yikes!
This evening, Jim attended the Boardman Rotary Strategic Planning Committee meeting. They basically put together a long term plan to guide the club for the next 5-10 years. They met at the current Rotary President, Jay Summer's house. He provided food and drink for everyone. His wife, Penny, made chicken pot pies. Jim said they were delicious!
While he was there, Reagan and I hit the grocery store and then just played toys. I was supposed to attend a MOPS meeting, but with the big day and Reagan getting no nap, I decided to sit it out. With no nap, she would have been a bear for the childcare ladies and daddy was gone all evening. Oh well, we had a fun night just us girls!
The photo of the day is Ally and Reagan enjoying the spa!
Next, relaxing while their nails dry.
A little Menchies fun.
Finally, Nana's smashed up bumper.
