End of the Year Program & T-Ball - 140/365

Today was Reagan's end of the year program at school. She was so excited to have Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Papa and Grandma at her "show." They were singing all the songs they learned throughout the year for the different holidays. The kids did great and weren't even shy this time. It was so adorable!
We can't believe her first year of preschool is almost over.
This evening, she had another T-ball game. It was a little chilly and rainy, but they were still able to play. Raymond, Jennifer, Grandma, Nana and Papa were all gonna make it to the game tonight. She was so excited to have a gallery there to watch her. They did great and "won" again.
After the game, we all went over to the Phoenix for some dinner. It was nice to warm up and chit chat after the game!

Easter Party & Rotary Check - 90/365

Today was Reagan's first school program!
The school had their three year olds doing their Easter Program today. It was absolutely adorable! All the kids were all dressed up and sang about six songs. They had little motions and everything to go along with the songs. It was super cute and they all did great! Reagan was so excited to have mommy, daddy, Nana, Grandma and Papa Greg there to see her performance. Papa Keith was so sad, that he had a last minute meeting and couldn't make it.
After her program, we were off to her Easter Party! I was going to take pictures for everyone. The moms loved that I gave them the Halloween and Christmas parties on discs, so I said I would make one for Valentine's and Easter.
Angela had everything planned just perfectly for the party. They had an egg hunt, did three crafts, played pin the tail on the bunny, had a relay race and had a snack.
Their favorite project was a little birds nest. Angela got pretzel sticks and covered them in chocolate. Then she had edible grass and jelly beans to help finish of the nest. At the end, she gave them all a peep to top off their nest. It was SO CUTE! Reagan LOVED it!
The relay race was super cute, too! They had to carry a plastic egg on a spoon to the Easter Basket! They all did great! It was a super fun party!
After the party, Nana and I ran a few errands around town. We went to the Austintown Party store where Reagan became quite fond of a Super Mario mask. It was HILARIOUS!
Jim had a great day at Rotary. They were able to donate $1000 to the local YMCA. Another great day for Boardman Rotary!

Preschool Valentine's Party - 43/365

Today was Reagan's Valentine Party at school! She was so proud of her box we made and couldn't wait to show the kids.
We worked hard on her little box. She said she wanted a dog box so I let her choose what dog we cut out and the papers we used. She helped me do a lot of the gluing. She was so proud!
We got to the school and loved checking out everyone's boxes. They were all fantastic! There was a Olaf, gumball machine, hot air balloon, basketball hoop, giraffe, all kinds of neat ones! It was so cute to watch them pass out their Valentine's!
They played some super fun games. Pin the heart on the dog, shoot arrows through a hoop, transfer candy hearts from one cup to another! They loved them all.
They did a great craft where they used washable markers to color on coffee filters. The mom's sprayed them with water and the colors bled to cover the whole filter. We let them dry and attached them to straws. When we did that, they looked like an adorable flower. The kids loved them!
After that, they had pizza and cupcakes! They gobbled everything up!
We finally read a book, played a couple games over and then it was time to go!
They all had a great party! It's so cute to watch them all in action! They are a wonderful group of kids!
This evening, Jim, Reagan and I had a fun time going through her Valentines and her little gift bags from some of the kids. She got so many cute ones!
What a fun day!

Mystery Under the Stove - 41/365

Today, the cats kept smelling around the stove. I looked underneath there and didn't see much other than some dust bunnies. They wouldn't leave the stove though. I hope we don't have a tiny little mouse friend under there. YUCK! I have confidence that they WILL catch it though if there is one under there.
Reagan had a good day at school! They learned all about President's Day and made some cool patriotic crafts. Daddy was so proud of her since he has a love of history and the presidents.
Jim and I were thrilled our Castaway Cay postcard that we mailed to ourselves FINALLY came! We mailed it while on our cruise on Jan 23rd. We were beginning to think it would never come! It's just a cool little memento we want to keep!
Here are the cats checking out the mystery under the stove.

School Thanksgiving, Turkey Pops, School Pictures - 329/365

Today, they were celebrating Thanksgiving at school! They were going to learn all about it and sing some songs! They even baked corn bread together. They loved it and got to eat it for their snack. Reagan said it was delicious.
For their crafts, they made a beaded turkey necklace and pilgrim hats. They were all wearing them when we came to pick them up. It was too cute!
Last night, I made little turkeys out of tootsie pops for the kids in her class. I was so happy to see all the kids coming out of the class clutching their little treats. They loved them!
Reagan actually carried hers around all day. We went running errands after school and she never put it down. LOL!
Another exciting thing was, we finally got Reagan's preschool pictures back! They came out super cute! I was so happy! The group shot is pretty funny. Getting 17, three-year-olds to look at the camera is not an easy task. It is super cute, too!

Race for Education - 288/365

Today was Reagan's Race For Education for her school!
The kids were going to do a walk to raise money. Each child sent out sponsor forms to family and friends asking them to sponsor them for the race. At race time they had brought in nearly $11000. What an amazing accomplishment for the kiddos!
They had a beautiful day for their walk. It was a little chilly, but not too bad. Jim was able to take off work and come walk with her. She was thrilled to have her daddy there!
Mrs. Critell gave an awesome pep talk and they were off!
Halfway through the walk, their was a little water station for them. They really loved this!
At the end of the walk, they got popsicles and a medal for their accomplishment!
They were so excited!
What a great little event for them!
Thank you family and friends for sponsoring her!

Parker Birthday & Jake Johannsen - 269/365

It was going to be a busy day today!
We started our day with Parker's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Our little buddy was turning three! Time sure does fly!
The kids all had a great time riding the little rides and playing all the games. Reagan and Jillian spent a lot of time together up in the climbing tubes. It was so cute. They would just peek out of the little windows every once in a while!
Parker was really into the basketball this time. And most of the kids really loved the skee ball.
They broke for some lunch of pizza, fruit, veggies and of course cup cakes! YUM! LOL!
It was a great party for a great little guy!
This evening, we were seeing Jake Johannsen, right here in Youngstown! We were pumped! We had a group of 18 going! We did a little pre-party with snacks and drinks at Ray and Jenny's. We had such a great time!
The show was supposed to be at the new Hotel California in Austintown, but they didn't open on time, so they moved the show over to Crest Lanes in Niles. WOW, what a place that was! It was barely standing! The room in the back where the show was held, was really small and very dingy. We got out of the cars and Ron said "welcome to the rape and stab." We were howling. You did feel like something bad was going to happen.
The show itself was great and Jake had a field day making fun of the venue! He is always a HOOT! We just love him.
After the show, we got to have our picture with him and talk with him a bit. Needless to say, he probably won't be coming back to Youngstown again anytime soon. We'll go back to seeing him a Pick Wick in Cleveland.
To end the night, we decided to head over to the new Mahoning Valley Racino. They had just opened the weekend before. It's a super nice place, but VERY small! We had fun checking everything out.
Busy, but FUN day!

Yellow Day and Walking Brandy - 258/365

Today was yellow day at preschool!
In all her Fall school wardrobe we had zero yellow, so I went digging in the bag of her Spring clothes and found her lemon stuff from Gymboree. She was able to nail it. It was hilarious. It was a NEON yellow, even. When Jim saw Reagan this morning he said, boy she's so reflective she could stop traffic. It was hilarious! She looked adorable!
They had a great day at school learning about the color yellow and squares. They made an adorable little project with yellow squares. They learned a song about Yellow and even how to spell it. She was spelling yellow all day. We are just amazed at what she is learning already and it's only been a couple weeks.
This afternoon, we stopped at PetSmart to grab some stuff for all the family animals. Reagan has this new found love for riding UNDER the cart. It's a little frustrating because she'll drag her feet and stuff, but she LOVES it. I got a cute pic of her and Nana at the store. LOL!
While at PetSmart, I picked up a leash and harness for the cats. Karen got one for her cat and the cat loved it, so I figured I'd try one for our cats. Brandy was the one we could catch, so she was our "guinea pig." She actually LOVED it. She rolled around and walked all over, just loving exploring. It was a hoot. Reagan loved picking her up and carrying her around, too!
Jim had a good day at work and rotary. He is enjoying his roll as President.
Good day!
The first picture is Reagan and Harley on yellow day.
 Next, her yellow square project.
