Browns Cincinnati, Johnny Manziel, Jim Florida - 348/365

Jim and Greg were up and at em early today! 

They wanted to make sure they were at the course by 8:30 to catch Jack teeing off at 8:42. They got over to the course with no problems and made it to watch him start. They ended up following Jack for his first nine holes. Jim was in his glory. They were able to get super close to him, since it was so early and the crowds were thin. 

Over the two days they became familiar with Jack's wife Barbara, so much so, that she actually wandered over to them and struck up a conversation this afternoon. They talked about Jack, Jim Tressel and all kinds of Ohio sports. They loved it. Greg even got his picture taken with her!

After Jack's first nine, they decided to sit on 13 tee and watch all the rest of the groups come through. After that, they went up to 18 to watch everyone finish. 

Greg had entered a contest earlier in the day, to guess who was going to win the tournament. You got a wristband for the specific player you picked. He picked Bernhard Langer to win, and as it turns out, he WON! Greg and Jim were able to go on the 18th green and get a group shot with everyone who picked him to win, along with Bernhard himself. They were so stoked! What a way to end the tournament. 

After the tournament, they went and had dinner at a nearby pizza place. 

After that, they went back to the room, Greg was a little petered out and was just going to lounge around the room. Jim decided to go check out Epcot for an hour since it was open to an odd 9:30 time. He went and caught the end of the Holiday Candlelight Processional and the American Adventure show! He was thrilled! After that, he took a spin around the Boardwalk Lagoon on the way back to the car. They had a successful day!

Meanwhile, I was home watching the Browns have the ultimate UNSUCCESSFUL day!

Nana and I headed up to the game alone. Papa was sitting this one out and obviously Jim was in Florida. We were meeting Pam, and Denny and Joyce. 

We were dropping off a ticket for Pam at will call, out front by the will call window, people were getting their pictures with Swagger! I decided to jump in and have my picture taken! It was so fun! He is HUGE, too!

We had a fun little tailgate, but NOT a fun game! Johnny Manziel was getting his first full start of the season after Brian Hoyer got benched. He was absolutely dreadful! At halftime the browns had literally four first downs and eight passing yards. The most exciting thing to happen was the hovercraft races at halftime. We had fun though because people just kept yelling random one liners, so we laughed the whole time!

When we got home, we picked up Papa and Reagan and went to Stonebridge for dinner. YUM!

It turned out to be an OK day, despite the outcome of the game. 

Browns Colts - 341/365

It was Browns Day again, today and Nana's BIRTHDAY!

With it being Nana's birthday, we were hoping the Browns could pull off a win for her!

Although, after their nice run of wins, they have started to struggle a bit the last couple weeks. Hoyer has been having a hard time.

It was nice to wake up already in Cleveland today, so we were able to sleep in a bit. Reagan spent the night at Grandma and Papa Greg's. We got up and ready and headed over to the stadium. 

Deanna, Mike, Raymond and Jenny were meeting Nana, Papa, Jim and I today!

We all got over there at 11 and had a great time at our tailgate! 

The game itself started off great! We were winning most of the game. The colts ended up scoring in he final seconds of the game, winning by one. Billy Cundiff missed a field goal earlier in the game, that if we could have had back, would have helped us win! Oh well, what the hell, as grandma Ruthie would say. It was a fun game to watch!

Reagan had a fun day at grandma and papa Greg's. They helped her make a card for Great Papa who is stuck in the hospital after a bad fall. I'm sure he will love his card!

Browns Vs. Texans - 320/365

Today, we were heading to the Browns game!

They have been doing so good and we were excited to see the outcome of today's game.
Ray, Jenny, Vicki and Lew were joining us. We all met at 11:00 and had our traditional indoor tailgate. 

This was going to be the first REALLY cold game, so we were all bundled up. Cleveland had gotten a pretty good snow storm the other day, so there was a lot of snow under the seats and in the cup holders. YUCK!

The game itself did not go well. The Browns played absolutely awful! They could not get it going and fumbled a lot. The Texans outplayed them in all aspects of the game and even had backup quarterback, Ryan Mallet in. It was his first NFL start! UGH! They ended up losing 23-7. It was brutal. 

Reagan had a great day hanging out with Grandma and Papa Greg. They spent a lot of time playing Legos, so Reagan really enjoyed that!

Baskets, Football and a visit - 319/365

Today, I was up early and at the school again to continue doing baskets. We were going to be wrapping everything today. This was my first year, but the girls kept saying we were in way better shape than they were last year. We had a fun time and had lots of laughs putting everything together. I was so happy to be apart of this project.

Jim and Reagan hung around the house this morning, then he dropped her off at the school on the way to the YSU game. He was meeting his dad, mom and Frank for the game. 

The YSU game was sad. They ended up losing in overtime, which meant they got knocked out of the playoffs. Oh well. 

Reagan and the kids had a great time at the school playing again. They made a huge dance floor out of blocks. It was quite impressive!

Matt and Nikki were coming down to visit Papa, since he fell. After the game, were were all getting together for a visit. 

Matt, Nikki and the kids stopped over to watch the rest of the CAVS game and the girls had a ball playing dress up. They were Anna and Elsa. It was a hoot!

Browns Win & Freddy Krueger - 305/365

Football day! 

We were meeting Joyce Dripps and her family today! They always enjoy coming and we enjoy having them. It's always fun to sit and chat at the indoor tailgate. 

The Browns played awesome and actually won for a change. They beat the Buccaneers 22-17! Woohoo!

Since the Browns won, we actually got to go to the Paver to see Pam and Zach! YAY!

While we were visiting with them after the game, we even ran into Freddy Kreuger! LOL! YIKES!

After we took some pics, we hit up the Team Shop. We didn't buy any treasures, but it's always fun to look. We hadn't been in there much this season!

Reagan spent the day with Grandma and Papa Greg. They had a good time playing and even spent some time with Brinkley so he wouldn't be lonely. She has so much fun over there on Browns Sundays!

Halloween Fun and YSU Football - 304/365

It was going to be kind of a busy day today.
This afternoon, Jim was heading out to the YSU football game with Greg, Frank & Nikki. It was a little rainy and cold, but they didn't let that stop them. They had a good time and YSU even won! YAY!
This evening, we were going to do some Trick or Treating with the Crawfords. We hit a lot of houses which was good. They kids didn't even care about the rain or cold. They were running and having so much fun, they never even cared. LOL!
After trick or treating, there was a neighborhood party down at the HUGE house. We were all going to head down there and check it out. The house is just GORGEOUS! Absolutely AMAZING inside.
The people were just so sweet, too. You wouldn't know they had a dime to their name.

YSU - 290/365

Today was going to be a busy one! 

Jim and I were heading out to the YSU football game with Greg, Nikki, and Uncle Frank. 

There was supposed to be a Boardman Rotary Tailgate, but things fell through at the last minute and it didn't happen. Nana and Papa had already planned to watch her, so they still wanted to keep her for the night.

We started our afternoon at Suzie's Dogs and Drafts to meet a couple of Jim's friends. His friend Mike was in visiting from Utah, so we met with him and his girlfriend for a few beers. Jim's other friend, Crin, came out for a few beverages, too! We had a nice visit with them. 

After that, we met Nikki, Greg and Frank at a tailgate party in the small lot. Greg had passes for a tailgate with food and beer, so we really enjoyed that!

The game itself was good! YSU played awesome and ended up winning 26-14 against Southern Illinois. The weather was not the best though. It was pretty windy, rainy and cold. At one point it looked like it was snowing! It was crazy! We just put on our ponchos and powered through though! We still had a good time!

After the game, Jim and I went over to BW3's in Austintown for some dinner and a night cap. 

Reagan had a great time with Nana and Papa! They went to Tippy for their dinner and dancing. They played games and splashed in the tub! She loves her pj parties at Nana and Papa's!

Browns Steelers - 284/365

It was Browns/Steelers Day!

It was gonna be a gorgeous day and we were so excited!
Nana and Papa were in Myrtle Beach, so they couldn't make this game. 

Ray, Jenny, Ed, Pam, Zach and Gina were going to come with us to this game! Woo hoo for family fun!

We had a fun time chatting and chowing on our Simon Burgers. 

The game started out a little rough, but the Browns ended up kicking ASS!

They ended up beating the Steelers 31-10! Woo hoo!

What an absolutely amazing day! It was awesome! We had a ball!

While we were at the game, Reagan was spending the day with Grandma and Papa Greg.
They went to the playground and lunched on mac n' cheese. They had a great day, too!

YSU GAME - 283/365

Today was family fun at the YSU tailgate! 

Matt and Nikki were coming down for a game, since it was at 7.

It was great to get together for a tailgate, after all this time. No one has really tailgated this year, so everyone was pretty excited to go. 

We just hung out at the garage at D&E,since they gave up the tailgate spots in the main lot. We had tacos, hot dogs, pepperoni rolls and lots of yummy desserts!

The kids had a ball playing! They loved doing silly poses for pictures and playing in the side yard. Reagan collected a couple sticks and would take her imaginary dog for a walk. It was too funny! She even brought in the stick to the game. Ally carried a couple cookies, but dropped a few a long the way. They had so much fun running in the bleachers together. They were perfect angels. Reagan even got to meet Pete!

We ended up finding Ray, Jenny, Vicki and Lew, so we got to sit with them during the game, too! It was great to see them!

The game wasn't so great. YSU did end up losing. Oh well.

Browns vs Ravens & Cat Hugs - 263/365

Browns Sunday again!

This week they were playing the Ravens.

Matt, Nikki, Andrew and a friend were coming to the game. It's always great when they can come.

The game itself was a fun one to watch even though the outcome wasn't good! The Browns were winning almost the whole game. In the fourth quarter they didn't score any points where Baltimore scored 14. The Ravens ended up winning 23-21. Ugh!

We had the most fun with a mask Andrew brought to the game. We all put it on and posed with it. It was a HOOT!

We had a great day despite the loss.

This evening when we got home. Reagan wanted to give Bailey a goodnight hug. She squeezed the poor guy. He still loves her to pieces though. He loves hopping up so she'll pet him.
