Ballet Recital - 150/365

It was a busy day today!
We started at lunch with Nana, Papa, Ed, Pam, Zach and Gina. They were all in town for a baptism, but still wanted to grab lunch while they were here. We ended up going to Chad Anthony's. We haven't gone there much, but it was really good. It was so nice to see the Britts and hear all about the wedding plans.
This evening was a big night for Reagan. It was her ballet recital. She was SO excited and we were so nervous for her. We knew she would do great, but to think of our tiny baby on that big stage in front of all the people.
Nana, Papa, Grandma, Papa Greg, Adrienne, Evan and Jillian were all coming.
Unfortunately it was raining like crazy when we got there. Thankfully Papa saw us waiting by the door, so he ran out with his umbrella. His poor pant leg was soaked, but we got Reagan inside with minimal rain drops. Everyone gave her flowers before hand, so she was SO EXCITED!
We got all settled in to watch her. She did absolutely fantastic. She waved a couple times which was totally cute. We were just so proud of her!
After her dance, we all went out to Tippy for dinner. It was nice to spend time with everyone after the recital.
Britt lunch!

Lunch with Pam, Raymond's Party - 360/365

Today, we were all sleepy and recovering from the Christmas craziness! We all slept in! It was nice. Jim did have to go off to work for a little bit today. They weren't going to be busy at all, but since the market was open, they needed to be there.
Nana, Pam and I decided to go to lunch at LaRocca's, just to get out a little bit. It was nice and we had a fun time.
This evening, Reagan was going to have a slumber party at Grandma and Papa Greg's house. She was so excited. Reagan and Papa Greg got to spend a little bit of special time together while, Grandma went to visit Great Grandma Roupe. They had a nice evening together.
While she was over there, we went to Raymond and Jennifer's annual Christmas party. They always have it decorated so nice, with TONS of food! We always have a great time! My favorite part is always Jenny's yummy punch. Jim's favorite part is the video games! LOL!
Good times!

Funny faces...at least for some of us!

Patio Pack-Up and a "PeeeeeeeP Show - 315/365

This morning, Reagan woke up with an extremely gunky eye. It wasn't pink, so we don't think it's pink eye, at least we're crossing our fingers. She also had some extreme sneezes, with some unpleasant "presents" with each one, so we decided to keep her home from school today.
I still wanted to get up to the school and drop off the items we bought yesterday during our shopping spree. I had everything in the back of my car and it was making me nervous. LOL!
When I got back home, Reagan was feeling a little better and the sneezing had slowed down quite a bit with her medicine. We were supposed to meet Ray and Jenny for lunch at noon, so we decided to keep that lunch date.
We met them at the Cracker Barrel and had a nice little lunch. It was fun catching up.
During our lunch, I decided I had to use the bathroom. I went in, did my business and was finishing up with washing my hands when the door opened. I didn't pay attention right away, but when I looked over, there was an OLD man (90's) standing right by the silver, built in the wall trash can that was DIRECTLY inside the door. By the time it "registered" he was already "whipping it out." The pee was already flowing, so it was too late to say anything and I didn't want to startle him. He was peeing a RIVER down the front of the trash can and it started to make a puddle on the floor. This all happened in probably less than 30 seconds. I hurried around the back of him and out the door. There was an older woman standing outside the bathroom and I asked her if she was looking for her husband. She said yes and I explained the story to her. She went in and retrieved him. I did let the cashier in the store know what happened, so they could have some poor soul go in and clean it up. It was less than two feet inside the bathroom door, so someone could have slipped on the pee puddle. That would have been AWFUL!
I still can't believe that happened! It was so sad and a little funny all at the same time. It's hell getting old!
This afternoon, Nana helped me pack up all the patio furniture in the garage for the winter. It's always so depressing. The patio looks so bare and now the garage is full. We got it all packed up pretty tight, so it doesn't take up that much room. We decided to put Reagan's little outdoor house out by the curb. It was pretty faded and a little moldy in spots from the rain. We put it out there around 3:30 and by 8:30 it was gone. Jim said he saw a guy in a pick-up truck loading it up! We love the garbage night scavengers! LOL!
Sorry there is no picture of the pee situation. LOL!
Here is the garage all full of SUMMER!
I feel like Olaf... "Let's go bring back SUMMER!"

Playing at Nana's - 217/365

Jim went off to work.
Brinkley and I decided we wanted to do another LONG walk. We ended up doing a repeat of yesterday, Kirk to 224 and two hours! Whew!
Reagan was with Nana today. They were going to hang around and play toys all day. They made a big playground with the playmobile and had some lunch. They had fun!

Hummingbird Class and Tippy Dinner - 156/365

Today was Tales for Tots class for Reagan at the Ford Nature Center!
They were learning about Hummingbirds today! Thanks to mommy and Nana, Reagan has lots of experience with them! LOL! She loves to watch them in the yard and help change the nectar in our feeders.
Today in class, they sang a little song, read a book, then we went outside for a little walk. We stopped in the back yard to check out their hummingbird feeders. We didn't see any customers, oh well.
Next, we went back in side to do our little craft. Reagan colored her little hummingbird blue, because it's her favorite color. They made little flowers for their birds out of cupcake rappers and little felt pom poms. It was so cute. She was so proud and couldn't wait to show her daddy.
After class, we went down to the Dutch Hause for lunch. Reagan is in love with this pudding, graham cracker stuff that we call "fluff." She was so excited to get a big plate full! LOL!
This evening, Jim, Reagan and I went to meet Nana and Papa at Tippy for dinner. We hadn't been there in awhile, so it was fun! We had a nice dinner and Reagan was happy to see her friend, Putter.
Next, Reagan enjoying the song...

Finally, Reagan and putter.

Lunch and Feed "Mine Fish" - 140/365

Today, we were lucky enough to have a lunch date with Raymond.
He was off work, so we met up to go to Salvators! None of us had been there for awhile and we just love their pizza bread! We had a great lunch and Reagan just loved having Uncle Raymond out and about with us. She even wanted to hold hands with him as we walked to the car. It was so sweet!
When we were on our way home, pulling around the bend onto our street. Reagan started yelling that she could see the goldfish in the pond. She asked Nana if she would go down and "feed mine fish" with her. Nana had never been down there, so she was happy to go! Reagan is getting quite the arm on her. She can toss that bread pretty good! :)

Bears & Awesome Aussie Lunch - 311/365

Kind of a busy day today!
First thing this morning, Nana, Reagan and I headed out to Tales for Tots. This month, the class was held at Bears Den Cabin and the topic was, bears!
The little cabin was cool. I had never been there before, I hadn't even seen it before. It was very small, but nice. Very rustic! Their little project was cute, they got to make a little bear face out of brown paper circles, felt and bells. It was so cute!
After their project, they took us outside behind the cabin to check out a small cave. The teachers wanted the kids to see a place where bears may sleep. The kids loved it, the adults, not so much. It was sprinkling just as we started walking down to the cave. It was a pretty small cave, the "tots" fit perfectly under there, but the rest of us were out in the rain. LOL! It was fine though!
At the end of class, each kid got a typical brown lunch bag. The teachers had painted yellow drips around the top and wrote "honey" across the bag. Inside, they put a sandwich bag of Honeycomb cereal. It was SO CUTE! They wanted them to have the same snack a bear would have.
I just love that little program, it's wonderful!
After class, Nana and I ran a few errands. I was looking for a cute blanket for a newborn shoot I have coming up. I found what I was looking for, YAY!
This afternoon, we were off to the Awesome Aussie Luncheon at Outback Steakhouse in Boardman. The luncheon is held to help raise money for Hospice of the Valley. We have attended every year for the past six and we always have a great time!
This year, it was Nana, Reagan, JoAnn, Pam, Faith, Faith's sister, and I.
It was PACKED when we got there. There was barely any room to get in the door. After we finally made it to the check in table, they took us to our seats. Unfortunately, they had to split us up. It was kind of a bummer. The food was good though. They gave us a hunk of a Blooming Onion, pumpernickel bread, salad, chicken breast, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. We were stuffed!
Even though we got separated we had a great time. We got to sit with Pammy, so it was great to catch up with her!

Next, is the girls at the luncheon...

Lunch Date - 119/365

Today started with Reagan and I running some errands to get ready for our trip! Every year down in Myrtle Beach, Pam and Jenny come out of their rooms ready for dinner in their pretty dresses. They always have lovely dresses, and my mom and I tease that we want to wear "gowns," too! This year, I was hopeful to find one I liked. I'm not a huge dress person, but I was determined. My first gown shopping excursion went down in flames last week...LOL! This week, I decided to try again. As luck would have it, I found one today at Khol's! Yippeee! I'm in with the girls now! Can't wait for our "gown" wearing dinner...LOL!
Reagan and I finished up our errands and went to Stone Bridge and met Rachel and Parker for some lunch. We had a nice time and the kids were very well behaved. They both munched on chicken tenders and french fries. The highlight of my day was watching Parker just chow down on a lemon without even flinching! He loved it! He's just too adorable!
This evening, we did our family fun walk at the three mile trail.
