Mardi Gras Day - 48/365

It was a busy day today!
Reagan went off to school this morning. It was so cute when I picked her up, she was wearing a Mardi Gras Mask. They made one in class today. She was so proud! It was even more adorable when she took it off and her little nose turned pink from the mask.
Today she brought home a little book they made in preschool of colors and shapes. They colored and painted everything in there. It was super cute! We just love to see what she comes home with!
This afternoon, Nana, Reagan and I went to pick up Reagan's pink Cadillac from Toys R Us! She was so excited about it! Thank goodness Nana's car is huge, so we were able to fit it in there pretty good.
We still had to pick up Brinkley from the groomer, so he had to stand on the floor. Everyone and everything fit pretty well. The car would move forward every once and awhile with a stop of the car and Reagan would say "my pink thing is coming!" It was a hoot!
When we got home we saw that Brinkley's Bark Box was here for this month! When we opened it we were so surprised! Everything in there was Mardi Gras theme, it was too cute! How fun!
This evening, Reagan wanted to bake up some cookies in her new Easy Bake Oven. She made Jim and I chocolate chip cookies! They were only as big as a nickel, but they were still pretty good! I think she'll have a lot of fun baking us up some treats!

Mardi Gras Mask & Shopping - 40/365

Today, Nana, Reagan and I were going to run a few errands. I needed to get some stuff for the party and wanted to run to Gymboree. While in the mall, Reagan had my phone and took a ton of pictures in Bath and Body Works. She loves to take pictures and she loves to smell all the scents. She had an absolute ball in there.
After the mall, we went over to Toys R Us to get some presents. I needed to get some stuff for Reagan's birthday, too! It was a little tricky, but thankfully being is FREEZING here, we could cover up some stuff for her with coats.
Nana and Papa wanted to get her one of those bigger cars to ride around the driveway in. We let her hop in all the different ones and pick on out. While she was testing one out, she hit the gas and it actually had a battery in it, so she drove off the shelf. It was HILARIOUS. She was a bit scared and shocked, but didn't cry or anything. It was a hoot!
She ended up picking out a pink Cadillac SUV! It's awesome!
After that, we headed over to Hobby Lobby to get some party supplies. Reagan found some Mardi Gras masks and was having a great time testing them all out!
Busy, but good day!

Mardi Gras - 43/365

Not too much to report today, just spent the day continuing to prepare for the big barnyard bash this weekend! Getting so excited!
It happens to be Fat Tuesday! Mardi Gras in your mid 30's is A LOT different from your
mid 20's...LOL! We spent the evening playing with Reagan, having spaghetti for dinner and snacking on leftover birthday desserts....wouldn't trade it for anything!
I've done a Mardi Gras picture of Reagan the last three Fat Tuesday's so I had to do one today.
Here is the photo of the day!

I figured I'd share the other two...it's fun to see how much she changes!
Here is the one from last year....

And the year before....

Have a great Mardi Gras!
