Jim in the Paper and Trampoline - 111/365

Reagan loves the trampoline at gymnastics and has been asking for one for "mine house" for quite sometime. Well with it being winter, we just hadn't got around to it. Well since she's been potty trained, we told her she could have one. The Easter Bunny ended up bringing her one and she was THRILLED!
Except the Easter Bunny left an important pole for assembly out of the box at his "factory", so we were a day delayed putting it together. I called the "factory" (Sam's Club) this morning to see if I could just get a pole out of a box they already had, since ours was already half put together. They said no problem! They were super nice about it!
This afternoon after retrieving the pole, Nana and I got the rest of it put together. It was pretty simple, which was nice. She was bouncing in no time! She loves it! It fits perfect back by the playset, too!
Jim made the paper, too! He and five other local presidents-elect for Rotary Club were featured for their training in Columbus a couple weeks ago! We are so proud of him!

Mushrooms - 273/365

Not too awful much going on today.
Nana, Reagan and I went for a walk, and then to the Dutch Hause. When we got done, we went back to my house. Nana stayed and played with Reagan, while I ran to the grocery store. They had a great time playing on the play set. They must have went down the slide about a million times.
After I put Reagan down for a nap, I threw some stuffed pepper soup in the crock pot. It turned out delicious! I love stuffed peppers, so this was great and super easy!
This evening, Jim and Reagan had art class. The project today, was pretty cute. They took a Styrofoam ball, stuck it on a wooden stick and glued fall colored puff balls all over. They were the "leaves". She was so proud of it!
While they were at art class, I tacked the mowing of the jungle that seemed to grow over night. I had to run the mower over the lawn three times to get it under control. The grass was pretty wet for it not raining for a couple days, so it clumped pretty bad, too. By the time I was done, it was pitch black. It was a total mess!
When I was mowing, I noticed we, and our neighbors, have these weird mushrooms growing in a couple spots. They were bizarre, we never had anything like that before!
The photo of the day is our mushroom garden...

Next, is Nana and Reagan enjoying the slide...
Finally, Reagan's masterpiece from art class...

Silly Sliders - 263/365

The day started off kinda rainy and yucky!
We were hoping to get down to Fellows to finally get Reagan's hand-print on the fence, but it was cancelled again due to weather. I hope they get it in this season. It will be so fun to take Reagan there, every year to show her she helped decorate the garden. Every Spring, we can see how much she's grown. I guess we will try again next week.
Since that was cancelled, Nana, Reagan and I ran a few errands. We had lunch at Friday's and took a spin through Target and Khol's.
This evening, we were able to squeak in another porch party with Ron, Rachel, Parker and Milana. For dinner, I did some chicken breasts in the crock pot with stuffing. It turned out really good! Rachel brought some Cleveland Browns cupcakes for dessert. YUM!
After we ate, we went outside and let the kids run. They had the best time! They went up the ramp and down the slide about a million times! They were starting to get a little too brave and tried walking down a couple times! YIKES! They just kept laughing and giggling! They played in the sand a little bit, too. They also played a little bit in the house, where Parker found the tea cups. He made everyone "hot coffee." It was too cute, he just walked around with his little cup saying "hot coffee." Rachel loves her coffee, so she's always telling him at home, "Parker don't touch, that's hot coffee." We had a lovely little visit!
The photo of the day is Reagan and Parker walking down the slide.
After they headed home, I gave Reagan her bath. It's a little sad now, when we stand her up on her changing pad, she doesn't fit under it anymore. She's too tall. She even says, "I don't fit under here anymore." She's just growing too fast! I've been wanting to take a picture and finally got around to it today.

Special Delivery - 175/365

Typical day today.
Jim's mom was coming over to spend some time with Reagan, so I decided it would be a good day to look for a new kitchen table. Our current table actually belonged to the people that lived here before us. It's nice, but the wood was always a little lighter than I wanted and it's starting to look a little old now.  I would just like to have fresh! There is also a little bakers rack that matched it, that I would need to replace, too.
I recruited my mom to hit the furniture stores with me! We hit them all and found a few prospects, but no bakers racks, ANYWHERE! I'm so bummed. I love having it there to put my pictures and seasonal stuff on. I would lose four shelves of fun! I guess I'll have to keep looking.
As the day went on, I started to get a pretty nasty headache. It hurt to even take steps. I took some Tylenol and closed my eyes while Reagan napped, hoping it would ease up. By the time Jim got home, it was pretty bad and actually making me a bit nauseous, so I laid down again and slept until 7:00.
While I was in a coma, Jim and Reagan went down to feed the fish at the pond, went for a walk, and played on the swing set.
Earlier in the day, when I got the mail, I saw that JoAnn had sent Reagan a little card that said, "C/O Reagan's Mailbox." When JoAnn stopped over the other day Reagan kept looking in her mailbox and saying "awwww, I no have any mail!" When JoAnn left, she said she would send her some mail to put in her box, and sure enough, she did. When I got up, I took it down under my shirt to her box. It wasn't no time, she looked in her box and gasped, "AHHH, I have mail!" She tore open the envelope, she was SO EXCITED! I think it made her whole day! She carried it around outside the rest of the time and now it's hanging in her playroom. Thank you Aunt JoAnn for making her day! You are too sweet!
The photo of the day is Reagan and her mail!

Playing, Picking, Crabby & Chesney - 171/365

Busy day today, again!
It started with a visit from Aunt JoAnn and Bridget. JoAnn had never seen the playroom and wanted to see the new play set, so they stopped over for a visit. The girls had a good time playing. Bridget was so great with Reagan! Brinkley was happy to see Aunt JoAnn, too. He wouldn't leave her alone!
After our visit, we went and dropped Brinkley off at his beauty appointment.
While he was there, my mom and I went over to Toys R Us to see about getting Reagan a small sandbox. She loves the sand! They ended up having a cute one, shaped like a crab. We got to the counter and paid. The lady said in the walkie talkie, "I need one crabby sandbox please!" After a few minutes, she said, "we're out of crabby sandboxes." Which made us crabby...LOL! They ended up having a bunch in Niles, so we just swung over there to pick one up!
We got back to the house and got it all set up! It's so cute and Reagan LOVES it!
Before we went in, Reagan helped water some flowers. We noticed that our first strawberry was finally bright red! YAY! Reagan picked it and then we sampled it. I have to say, it was great! We are all about strawberries this summer! :)
Then, it was time to get ready for the Kenny Chesney concert! Woo hoo!
Jim had his last Rotary Board meeting, before they switch presidents this weekend. This president always held his meetings at night, so Jim wasn't going to be around to watch Reagan. Papa, so sweetly, volunteered to play with Reagan until Jim got home, so we could get going to the concert! How wonderful!
Nana, Papa, Reagan and I ended up having dinner at Nicolini's.
After dinner, my mom and I headed to the concert and papa and Reagan went back to the house to play. They played in the sand and on the play set. Reagan even got papa to go down the blue slide! They had a great time together! So great, that when Jim got home, Reagan look at him and said, "Dada, go back to work. I want to play with papa!" LMAO!
We got to Blossom with no problems and the concert was FABULOUS! He had an awesome set, with huge HD video screens! It was amazing! He really is such a wonderful entertainer! He NEVER stops! He runs back and forth on that stage like a mad man. He couldn't give anymore if he wanted to, he's fantastic! We hadn't got to see him in a few years because he had been doing the bigger stadium tours. We went to a couple and the atmosphere stinks. We decided we would only see him if he did Blossom or First Niagara.  So happy he came back around! We had a great time!
The photo of the day is Kenny. I forgot my camera, so this is an awful iPhone photo. :(
Here is Aunt JoAnn getting some "love" from Brinkley...she was cracking up!
The next is Reagan in her new Crabby Sandbox....
And finally, the first of our own strawberries and Reagan doing the first "pick"...
