Bailey Under The Weather - 7/365

Last night when we got home from Ron and Rachel's, Bailey was acting a little funny. He wouldn't eat treats and never came to bed. We decided to watch him a little bit this morning and he wasn't much better. He just kept hiding, which he NEVER does. When he did walk around he moved just like a sloth. We figured we should get him into the vet.
Unfortunately, Dr. Allen was out of town, so we saw the fill in vet. He was nice, but not like Dr. Allen. He said he couldn't really see anything that is wrong, so he ran some blood work and sent him home. They called this afternoon with the results and said everything was fine.
They said to just keep and eye on him and we'll see what happens.
This evening, he was still hiding. I did go find him and make him sit on my lap for a bit. He seemed to like that. Hopefully he'll be better in the morning.
Poor Bailey at the doctor.
Enjoying a little cuddle time.

Back to School, Last Christmas Party - 6/365

Today was Reagan's first day back to school since her Christmas break.
She couldn't wait to go back and see her friends. She got to school and jumped right back in!
They learned all about the month of January and sang some songs about Valentine's day!
She came home with an adorable heart project with hand printed mittens. She was so proud of it!
She was also excited to show me her snowman on display in the atrium. She just loves when her projects are up there.
This evening, we had our annual Christmas get together with Ron and Rachel. We tried to have it before Christmas but with sickness and schedules, it just didn't happen.
We got pizza, had spinach dip and cupcakes! It was all great!
The kids loved opening their presents. Reagan got a princess canvas to paint and a Sofia lip gloss amulet. You can slide different flavored lip gloss in it. It was too cute!!!
We had a great time catching up and talking about our upcoming cruise! We can't wait!
The hallway was decorated with some snowman the kids did. Reagan found hers and wanted her picture taken with him.
Pround of her "Cold Hands, Warm Heart" project.

Nana Day - 5/365

Reagan was going to spend the day with Nana, since she spent the night. They decided to have a pj day since it was so cold outside. They just played legs, beauty shop with her dolls, and did a little fishing! They had a great day.
This evening, they took a trip over to Stone Bridge for dinner with Papa! They had a great time and Reagan, of course, loved her ice cream with sprinkles!
When she got home. She latched on to Brinkley. She just kept hugging and hugging him and saying "I missed you, buddy!" It was so cute!

Christmas Continues & January Birthdays - 4/365

We were off to the farm today to have our Christmas celebration. We were going to do it earlier in the month, but everyone had the funk, so we postponed until today.
Nana and Papa got cavatelli, meatballs, sausage, salad and rolls from LaRocca's in Poland for our meal. It was SO GOOD!
Reagan got a lot of great presents. She was so excited!
We did our traditional $20 boy/girl gift exchange. Jim got some cool tote bags and I got a Bob Evan's gift card and chocolate!
We also celebrated all the January birthday's and Nana's from December today, too! We have four January birthdays on that side of the family! I got a bird house, candle and a Target gift card! I was pumped! LOVE Target!
We had a fun afternoon visiting with everyone!

Bye Santa & Zoo Day! - 3/365

Today was kick Santa out day! FINALLY!
Jim and Reagan decided to hit the Cleveland Zoo, while I worked around the house.
Jim never gets too many one on one days with her, so he was pretty excited. They decided to do Cleveland since they have more indoor stuff, than Akron.
They started their day in the rain forest. Reagan was really getting into learning about the animals. She made Jim read all the informational signs around the zoo.
After the rain forest, they decided to have a little lunch, before they started their journey around the zoo. They had some pizza at the little cafe in the rain forest. Jim said his favorite part of the day was when Reagan leaned over at lunch and said "Hey dad, I love going to the zoo with you." She is such a little sweetie!
After lunch they hit some outdoor stuff. They saw the elephants and the flamingos in their "indoor" but outdoor habitat.
Next, they took the tram up to the primate building and aquarium. She loved that and they had the place all to themselves! She loved this little squirrel up there.
Finally, Reagan made Jim go over and see the sealions. They took the tram over, but then it left them there. It happened to start raining, so Jim had to carry her all the way down the hill in the rain. Luckily they did take an umbrella, so they didn't get too wet!
They had a great day together!
Meanwhile, I was on a roll and got all of Christmas put away and sprinkled some Valentine's Day stuff. It's so nice to have the house back to normal! The Christmas stuff was starting to make me feel like I was drowning!
The living room was in need of a little organization, too. Reagan has her awesome playroom, but we like to have a few toys in the living room for her, also. The living room toys were starting to take over, so I got a little cube system at Target to try to help organize them. It looks fantastic and I feel like our living room is twice the size now! YAY!
Productive day for all!
Reagan ready to head off to the zoo!
 They made it!

New Year, New Stuff - 2/365

Jim had to go off to work today. It kind of stunk he had to go back for one day, but oh well.
Reagan and I spent the morning building her Ferris Wheel that she got for Christmas for her Lalaloopsies. She was so excited and filled it up right away with all her friends! They went round and round! This evening we got the new swimming pool built for them, too! She's just so excited for all her new stuff!
This afternoon, we went to Steamers for lunch and did a little shopping. At Steamers she wanted to stand by the tree. They were working on taking them down today, so she wanted to stand by it before it went away. It was too cute!
Next we were off to PetsMart... there, we found some awesome Mickey head cat bowls and had to get them for Bailey and Brandy! They are super cool!
This afternoon, I finally got the hangers to hang up the two pictures Matt drew for Reagan. He had done Cinderella for her birthday last year and we just loved it. I ended up finding the perfect spot in her playroom for it, BUT, realized I would need two of his pictures two balance it out. I'm am beyond weird about symmetry and balance. We asked (or begged) for another one when he had time, but then summer happened and everyone gets busy. Well, lucky us, he had time this early winter and did a Frozen one for her for Christmas! YAY! They are both amazing and look so awesome over her book shelves! We are so exited! The colors match perfectly, too! He has such amazing talent!
Productive day!
Reagan's Lalaloopsies playing with their new stuff!
Just thought this picture was adorable from lunch!
 Mickey bowls!
Finally, the pictures in their forever home!

2015 - Year THREE! - 1/365

New Years Day, 2015!
TIME FLIES! It's been two years since we started this little project! It's amazing!
We just cherish our first book and can't wait to start putting 2014's book together. I'm still behind in a few of the blogs, but I have the notes and pictures. I WILL get caught up, I WILL! LOL!
So, we're going to give this yet another go.... it's so fun!
This year, I want to pull out my good camera a lot more, like I did in 2013. I had some great pictures in that book. This year, I felt I relied on the iPhone a bit too much. I also really want to get back into taking quality pictures.
So, for our first full day in 2015, we didn't really do too much.
This morning, I tried to get some of my Christmas pictures finished up, while Reagan taught Jim how to do her Beados. Which is her most favorite thing in the world right now! LOL!
This afternoon, Jim and Nikki went to take in the Hobbit at the theater. They got there and said they were surprised because it was in a small theater way down at the end of the main hall. It only had about 10 rows of seats in it. Jim said he was shocked. There were quite a few people for the small theater, too. He said they both really enjoyed the movie and were glad they got a chance to take it in!
Reagan and I hung around the house the whole day. I got her little tree in her playroom taken down and went through and organized all the cubbies in her playroom. I finally made some room for her new stuff. It looks GREAT! Now, if it could just stay that way.
Great first day of 2015!
