Spa Day - 44/365

Today, Reagan and I were getting some pampering done!
We both were in desperate need of haircuts. Her, especially. She had a big old mop on her head. It was a mess.
Maggie, up at Casals, is just AWESOME with her. She takes her time and goes through the whole routine with her. They give her the stress reliever, which is a little back, head and hand massage. Then, they go to the shampoo bowl. After that, they give her the a mini facial. She LOVES the mini facial, she just sits there and smiles! Finally, we head back to the chair. Reagan just chats with Maggie the whole time. It's so adorable! They are like buddies! Reagan especially loves the suckers when they are all done!
Now she's all beautiful for her big birthday party this weekend!
The photo of the day is Reagan getting her mini facial.

Belated Birthday Dinner - 43/365

This evening, we were having our long awaited birthday dinner with Ray and Jenny!
Jenny and I, have birthdays just days apart, so we always do a family fun dinner to celebrate. This year, we were in Florida during our birthdays, so we had to postpone our dinner. After sorting through everyone's schedules, we finally were able to go tonight! Woohoo!
We met at the Fifth Season around 7:30 and had a great dinner! Ray and Jenny brought Valentine's, too! Reagan got a little giraffe that walks along singing a Bruno Mars song. He is hilarious and Reagan just loves him. She also loved all her chocolate! She was thrilled!
We had a really fun night!

Reagan Turns THREE! - 42/365

Today is Reagan's 3rd Birthday!
Where on earth does the time go!? I feel like we just brought her home! She has been such a blessing to us. We just love her! She is growing up to be such a sweet, kind, smart and FUNNY little girl. She keeps us laughing, that's for sure. We're just so proud of her!
I saw awhile back, that starting at three, you should ask your child the same questions every year on their birthday. Then, take the answers and keep them in a photo album to look at how they change. I decided I'm going to try to keep up that tradition with Reagan. I think it will be great to see how she changes.
Here are the questions....(I couldn't narrow it down to 20...lol)

1. How old are you? "Free" Three
2. Where do you live? "Ah-hi-oh" Ohio
3. What is your favorite food? Eggs & Cheerios with Milk
4. What makes you happy? When I poop. That makes big people happy. Toys
5. What makes you sad? When I can't get the bread off the table. (She wanted bread before her pasta one night and stole a whole loaf of bread off the table. She ran around the house not giving up the bread, resulting in a time out.)
6. Who is your best friend? Mr. Fuzzy

 8. What is something daddy always says to you? Pee pee
9. What is your favorite book? Jasmine

14. What is your favorite drink? Milk
15. What is your favorite TV Show? Sing-a-long (her princess sing-a-long DVD)
16. What is your favorite movie? Frozen

21. Where do you want to live when you grow up? No, I live here. I want to live here.
22. What do you want to be when you grow up? A pumpkin

Oh boy, we just howled! I can't wait to see the answers next year!

This evening to celebrate, we took her to Chuck E. Cheese. Reagan herself, had never been there. We just never think of it. She seemed to have a good time even though some of the games were a little big for her. She really loved this big horse you could sit on and run a race. You had to shake the reins and pull them left or right to avoid hitting walls on the track. She did great!
After playing there for awhile, we had dinner at Cheddars. Reagan LOVES going to Cheddars to see the huge fish tank they have. We had a great meal!
When we got home, we had our traditional ice cream cake for her. We do ice cream cake on her actual birthday, since we do regular cake for her party. She loves it!
After that, we opened presents! We got her a Dora Big Wheel, Lalaloopsy Roller Skates, a couple new train cars for her train table, a Leap Pad game, and a bunch of mini Lalaloopsies! She was thrilled! We had a great day with our little baby.
Happy Birthday 3rd Birthday, Reagan! We love you!

Fish Favors - 41/365

Today, I continued working on the little fish favors for Reagan's goldfish party.
I was making little "pet" goldfish, like you win at the fair. It was just a little plastic goldfish with clear, melted, glycerin soap poured over top. You twist the bag and let it hang to harden again. When it's done, it looks exactly like a fish in water! They were so cute, but took forever to make. Because you had to hang them, (so the bottom wasn't flat) I could only do three or four at a time. I didn't have a huge place to hang them. They just looked better natural instead of the flat bottom. It was worth it!
The photo of the day is a finished fish favor.

Movie Madness - 40/365

Today was a snowy, snowy day.
Jim went to pick up Reagan this morning around 10:00, so Jim's mom wouldn't have to bring her home in the blizzard.
We planned on just hanging around the house today. Basically, just have a pajama day! Reagan, at one point, went over to her DVD box and piled them all up and was walking around the living room with them. We're still not sure exactly what she was trying to do, but she just kept saying, "Oh these are heavy!" It was super cute!
This afternoon, once it finally stopped snowing, Jim, Nikki and Greg decided they would go see The Monuments Men. It had a fantastic cast... Matt Damon, George Clooney, Bill Murray, John Goodman and a few others. They all really liked it. Jim got to the movie late, so he didn't get a picture from the movie.
The photo of the day is Reagan and part of her DVD collection.

Through the Looking Glass - 39/365

Tonight, Nana, Papa, Jim and I were heading up to Twinsburg to watch Adrienne perform in Through the Looking Glass.
She loves the theater and has done work for the Twinsburg Community Theater before.
We started with dinner at Blue Canyon. It's one of our favorite places to eat! The food is just excellent and we dream about their homemade S'more dessert. They make their own marshmallows right there. It's SO GOOD! We had a really nice dinner and we were stuffed!
We got over to the theater right on time and enjoyed the play. The cast was huge, there was nearly 100 people. There was a bunch of little ones, probably between 5-10, that were really cute to watch, too. You could tell they just loved being up there. Adrienne was part of the Red Court and did a great job. It's always neat to see her in action on stage.
After the play, we got to meet up with her for a few minutes. It was funny to see her up close in her costume. We loved her red glittery eyes! LOL!
It was a fun night out, but not a fun drive home. It started snowing while we were in there and was pretty much a white out the whole way home. Tis the season!
Reagan spent the night with Grandma and Papa Greg. They had a great time playing and spending time together, too!
The photo of the day is Nana, Papa, Jim, Adrienne and I with the jabberwocky.
Brinkley seemed to be doing much better today, too! He was up and about more and wanting to play. We think his incisions are healing up well, because they seem to be a bit itchy. We had to put a t-shirt on him for a little bit this afternoon to keep him from scratching. I think he was a bit embarrassed.

Sip and Paint - 38/365

Tonight was girls and guys night!
Stacey, Jamie, Kim, Nicole and I were heading out to dinner. Then, taking in a sip and paint class at Wonderstruck in Cornersburg.
We started with dinner at Davidsons. We had a great time chit chatting and catching up.
After dinner, we went across to our class. We were all a little worried about how our paintings were actually going to turn out. The place itself was great! They even supplied the wine glasses and bottle openers!
We got settled in and took our first brush strokes. Once we got rolling we were having a great time trying to follow the directions. We just laughed the whole time. We would get up and check out each others work and just giggle. We all ended up with really nice paintings. We did a really great job, despite all the wine! It was a super fun night and we hope to do another some day soon!
While we were off doing that, the guys hung out at Stacey and Ken's with the kids. The kids had a ball playing and eating popsicles.
The guys came to pick us up around eight. We were mad because we kinda felt like going back to Davidson's for a nightcap, but the kiddos were pooped.
When I got in the car, Reagan said, "Mama, I played with the kids and I was the cleaner!" Apparently her favorite toys of Kinley's, were her play cleaning supplies. Hope she offers to help me clean some day! It was a great night out for everyone! Good times!

Next, all the kids hanging out!
