Dragonflys & DAWGS - 220/365

We started at Tales for Tots today!
It was a gloomy day, so they held most of class inside the Ford Nature Center. This time we were learning about Dragonflies. The kids started with their coloring pages, listened to a story and got to see a dragonfly. After that, we headed outside to the All People's Trail. The teachers had stuffed bugs that a dragonfly would eat, hidden along the trail, so they had to fly along and look for them. Next, we went in the yard behind the nature center. There were dragonflies made out of toilet paper rolls, hidden all over the yard. The kids got to run all around and try to find them. They loved it!
Finally, we ended with our craft. The kids got to make their very own dragonfly out of a clothes pin and paper. They got to color the wings and add googly eyes. Reagan's is adorable. We named her Dotty!
After class, we went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch. Nana then headed up to Casal's to get her hair done. Reagan had an appointment right after her. Her hair was SO LONG, that the curls were starting to fade away. I ended up having about an inch and a quarter taken off. It looks so much better! She did so great and sat just like a big girl! She loves her spa time! LOL!
After haircuts, Reagan went home with Nana for a slumber party, while Jim and I took in the Browns preseason game against the Rams. They were saying traffic was going to be bad and they were right. It took us about an hour and 45 minutes to get downtown.
The NFL started enforcing their new bag policy today which, in our opinion, is stupid. You aren't allowed in any bags that aren't clear, unless they are the size of your hand. If they are clear, they can't be bigger than 12x12. If you don't have a clear bag that meet standards, you can bring all your stuff in a gallon size Ziploc bag. How ridiculous! The Browns are supposedly sending us two clear bags, with our eight season tickets, but we won't hold our breath. Being that I didn't have a clear bag, I used a Ziploc, but I also brought a canvas bag. I carried all my stuff in one Ziploc and our two ponchos were in another Ziploc. I put those in the canvas bag. When we got to the stadium I took them back out and folded up the canvas bag and put it in my pocket. I breezed through security and then put everything back in. We don't want to carry around 15 ziploc bags on game day...WTF! Hopefully that continues to work.
The game itself was great. It was a nice calm crowd and the Browns actually looked good! They had a 90 yard punt return! We haven't seen one of those in awhile!
The weather worked out nice, too. It rained the whole way up, but cleared as we got to Cleveland. It was perfect during the whole game, untill we walked out of the stadium. Then it started raining, but not hard enough to drag out our ponchos. The Browns ended up winning 27-19! GO BROWNS!
The photo of the day is Reagan and her little dragonflies she found.
The next is the scoreboard at the game. Let's home it looks like this the whole season!
