Cleaning Day - 61/365

Today, we were just hanging around the house getting caught up on some cleaning. 

We were kinda in the mood to start a little Spring cleaning, actually. Who knows why, maybe we're just trying to will Spring here. We used the small vacuum to get into some crevices. I actually used my "lint lizard" to clean out the washing machine vent and underneath the stove. Holy lint and dust bunnies! YUCK! 

Next, I ran some vinegar and baking soda through the washer to clean it out. It smelled a 1000 times better, too! I decided, since we were doing some odd cleaning, I would try a Pinterest oven cleaner I found. You sprinkle some baking soda, then squirt it with vinegar and let it sit. It worked awesome, my oven door was sparkling! It looked brand new! I tried it on just the door first to see how it worked. Now, to tackle the inside! 

This afternoon, Jim and Brinkley headed out to the farm for a little hike. Brinkley just loves frolicking in the snow and it's so nice of Jim to take him.
