Firestone & Tippy - 214/365

Jim and I were heading up to Akron today for the golf tournament.
It was pouring down rain when we left, but the "blob" looked like it would be through, by the time we got up there. We didn't bring any ponchos or an umbrella, which was a BIG mistake.
When we got off the bus, it was like a monsoon! We had to run to the gate, which is undercover, thankfully. Then, we decided to run to the gift shop to wait out the rain. My hair was done for, with the rain, so I decided to buy a hat. Since it was the last day of the tournament, some things were on sale. I happened to walk by and one of the employees was trying to get rid of the "youth" hats. She said they sometimes fit adults. I ended up trying one on and it fit!!! I got it for three dollars! Woohoo!
Eventually the rain slowed down, so we headed back to our military tent. It was really nice! They had free pops and waters and snacks. YUM! We hung out there while the officials cleared the course and the golfers could get out there.
Sergio came out and bogeyed the first hole, so he was pretty much done after that. We watched him for most of his round. He always chokes on Sunday.
We were standing on one hole when we saw his girlfriend nearby. I decided to just go up and say "hi". What the heck, right!? She was so sweet and just chatted away. She even gave me the biggest hug. It was so sweet!
We had a fun day, even with our soggy start!
Meanwhile, Reagan hung out with Nana and Papa today. They went for a walk and played around the house. They were going to dinner and Reagan even helped papa get dressed up with a flower in his hair. He looked fab!
This evening they went to Tippy and she even paid the bill! They were thrilled! LOL!
She also took a couple selfies with Nana's phone!
At the tournament!
