Today the long awaited, Neverbeast movie came out! Reagan was just so excited!
After school we went straight to Target to pick it up! She couldn't wait to get home to watch it.
We had told her we would have a "Tinkerbell" party tonight to celebrate it.
In the meantime, Ron and Rachel asked us if we would want to go up to the Cavs game tonight. They had gotten a limo and scored a loge. Rachel's mom and dad were supposed to go, but they had a last minute issue and couldn't go, so they asked if we wanted to go in their place. Jim had a meeting after four and wasn't sure how long it would take, plus, we had promised Reagan her party. Turns out, we should have just taken them up on their offer. The night went south quick. Jim's meeting ended on time, so we could have went.
I stopped this afternoon and got a balloon, table cloth, plates, napkins, and a little cake for our party. Reagan was so excited. Jim even printed out some Neverbeast coloring pages at work for her to color. It was going to be super fun! Reagan even wore her Tinkerbell costume!
Well, we popped on the movie and got into it. Toward the middle, Reagan "watched" the movie with her head under her blanket. Then, the ending made her hyperventilate cry. It was so sad. Poor thing was crushed!
It was a GREAT movie and while, the end was sad, at least nobody dies. But, a four-year-old takes wording quite literally, when she hears... "We'll never see him again." UGH!
She was so upset that she refused to eat her dinner, which meant she couldn't have her Tinkerbell cake. It was just bad and sad. To look forward to something since January and to have it end like that, she was crushed!
We just kept saying, we should have put the party off and went to the game! LOL!
Oh well!
Finally has the movie in hand!
Tinkerbell cake! We used one of her toys for our topper!
Coloring at her Tinkerbell table!
