St. Patricks's Day! It was going to be a busy one, too!
We started the day at Reagan's book fair! She was so excited to pick out books. She ended up with six! She kept saying she couldn't wait for bedtime so she could read them.
After we shopped, she headed off to class. They made a shamrock necklace, shamrock hat and got a visit from a leprechaun! They went for a walk and when they came back, the room was all a mess! Reagan kept saying he knocked over the trash can. She just found that so funny! LOL! They loved it!
This evening, we had a little Irish feast. I made Reuben's, pierogies and green beans. I got Jim a six pack of Guinness and I made a Miller Lite green! Reagan enjoyed green mac and cheese with green beans and green milk. For dessert we had cookies decorated for St. Patrick's Day. It was delicious!
This evening, Reagan and I made a few little St. Patrick's Day themed projects. We made Jim a handprint shamrock and Reagan wrote him a little note on it. I got a little carried away and actually told her how to spell lucky, wrong, but I suppose that makes it special! We are so lucky to have him, that we gave him extra letters in lucky! LOL!
Today, Boardman Rotary had another big day! They were able to present a $2500 check to the Salvation Army. Needless to say, they were absolutely thrilled with the donation and hope to be able to do a lot of good with it!
Jim is doing such a great job as president! We couldn't be more proud of him!
Shopping the book fair!
