Princesses on Parade & YSU - 66/365

Today we were doing Princesses on Parade at the Dutch Haus Village Inn. It was a really fun event.
Reagan dcided she wanted to go as Belle. I was happy, because we have photographed her in her other nice dresses, so this would give us some new pictures.
We wanted to give her some authentic Belle hair, so Reagan and I watched a YouTube video on how to do it. It was relatively easy and really came out fantastic. I was so proud of myself! LOL! She looked amazing!
Nana, Reagan and I headed down right at 2, to get registered. It was so darling how they had everything set up. They had chair covers with blue ties, glass slipper and flowers for centerpieces. The runway was amazing! It was decorated with lots of tulle and twinkle lights. Reagan was in awe of everything.
Next, we went over and got her make-up done. They had a couple makeup artists from Mary Kay there to do the girls makeup. They did it nice and soft. It looked perfect on them.
After, they had a professional photographer with a beautiful backdrop take pictures of all the princesses.
Finally, everyone was settled at their tables and the program started. Cinderella, Belle and the Royal King all stood up and said a little something, then the princess parade began.
Reagan was acutally number one! It was too cute! She was the first one to hit the runway. It was probably for the best, so she didn't have time to get nervous. She walked right up and down the runway. You could tell she was shy. When she got to the end where they take pictures, her eyes were a little watery, but she was holding it together. She turned around and headed back to the stairs to get down. When she got down the stairs and back over to me, she burst into tears for a minute. It was adorable and pitiful all at the same time. She said she was a little bit scared with everyone looking at her. After she settled down a little bit, she loved watching all the other princesses parade down the runway.
At the end, they had a yummy dinner of turkey breast, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, ham and bread. It was delicious!
After we ate, all the girls had a fun time parading up and down the runway again. They went up an down and up and down about 100 times! It was a hoot!
Jim and Papa came a little bit late to the Parade. Papa made it for the runway walk, and Jim made it for the dinner.
Jimmy already had plans with Greg and Frank to check out the YSU woman's basketball game. They had a nice lunch at O'Donald's first before taking in the game.
The game itself was a blowout with a score of 80-57 over Valparaiso. With that win the girls earned a first round home game in the playoffs! Go Guins!
They guys were stoked because they saw Jim Tressel at the game. They also got a picture with Pete the Penquin. They had a fun time!
This evening we just hung around and watched TV. Reagan was exhausted from her princess filled day!
