Today was Father's Day!
Reagan slept a bit late today, since she never napped yesterday! When she finally got up, I had her carry her presents to daddy.
She was a great little shopper. She got him an overnight adventure to see the Cleveland Gladiators, last home game in July. She painted him a picture, too.
She also got him a little paper weight that you can put a picture in and record a message. Then, when you push the button down, it plays it back! She did GREAT recording and said, "Love you, dada!" right on cue! We added a picture and it was done! He loved it!
Last year, I did a three picture, long frame where Reagan was holding a letter in each photo. When you put it all together, it spelled "DAD". Jim loved it and has had it hanging in his office ever since. This year, we figured we'd update the pictures for him! It came out so great!
After present time, daddy got ready to head out and play golf with his dad! It wasn't the perfect day for golf. It rained a little off and on, but they said they didn't get too wet. They played golf at Candywood and had lunch at Avalon.
While they were doing that, I ran a few errands with Reagan and nana. We got back and went out to play on the play set for a few minutes. Nana braved the tube slide. She skinned her knee but loved it...LOL!
When the boys were done golfing, Greg stopped over to get his little present from Reagan. She painted him a picture and gave him a framed picture of her and papa. He loved his presents!
Greg hadn't seen the play set yet, so he tried that out! He even took a ride on the blue slide, Reagan loved it!
After he headed back home, we tried to get Reagan to take a nap. It did not go well! She was in her "no nap/no quiet time" mode. She RAN around the crib singing songs. I went up a couple times to tell her, "it's NAP time". I would leave and she would cry for 10 minutes and the cycle would start over! Ay, yi, yi.
When "nap" time was over, Jim took Reagan and Brinkley around the block while I finished up some stuff.
When they got back, we got dressed and headed to the Phoenix for the second time this weekend! YUMMY! We had a really nice time!
All in all, Jimmy said he had a perfect Father's Day!
That makes me so happy because he is such an awesome daddy to Reagan and Brinkley! We are all so lucky to have him in our lives. We really are blessed!
As Reagan said all day, "Happy Father's Day, DADA!"
Thank you for all you do! WE LOVE YOU!
The photo of the day is Jim with his kids...
The next is Jim with his dad and Reagan with her Daddy and Papa....
