Father's Day Picnic - 166/365

It's father's day weekend! 

We were going to kick if off with a father's day picnic at my mom and dad's this afternoon. 

This morning though, we decided to go back out to White House Fruit Farms and do a little more strawberry picking. Jim wanted to see Reagan in action and the strawberries are absolutely to die for. We can't get enough! 

We got out to the farm right around 9:00 and it was packed, again! They must have had some pretty good crowds, because we were all the way on the other side of the fields this time. The berries were HUGE on that side! It was almost like three strawberries grew together into one super berry! It was amazing! We had fun and filled up our basket rather quickly, so we were on our way. 

We headed home and played on the play set a little bit. Jim and I finally got up enough courage to try the tube slide. We found that if you curl up in a ball, you go down super fast. It shoots you right out on the ground. It's so fun! LOL! We're having just as much fun as Reagan! 

We finally had to go in, get ready and head over to Nana and Papa's for the party. Papa grilled up some tasty chicken and steak. And my mom got some yummy sides from Cafe Capri. For dessert, Jenny made an awesome chocolate cake with Irish Cream syrup to drizzle on top! Whoa boy! 

It was a really great afternoon with everyone. Reagan had a great time playing with Dexter and Brinkley. She even got to hit the coaster. Her favorite part seemed to be helping her daddy, papa, and great grandad open their presents. She pulled tiny little squares off and threw them away before continuing on. It was too funny! 

We finished up with some bubble blowing before we went home. 

 When we got home this evening, Jim took Reagan down to the pond to feed the fish, while I walked around and watered and pruned a few flowers. 

We of course, got some more playtime on the play set, too!
