Beach Bums - 128/365

It was another gorgeous day at the beach!
We still wanted to hit Alligator Adventure, so we thought we'd go over right when it opened, since it's across the street. It was nice to go at that time, because it was empty! We were getting our tickets and the lady said, "You picked a good day to come. We have a school group coming, it's going to be so crowded." Uh, OK, that's a nice thing to say to your paying customers...LOL!
Anyway, it turns out they weren't an issue at all. We had the place to ourselves and got through it all, in about an hour. Reagan loves alligators and when you ask her what they say, she takes her little hand and claps them together and says "scarp scarp." It's much better in person...LOL!
This year, she got to pet the big tortoise. He's HUGE!
We were done there, so we headed back, got some breakfast and hit the beach! We wanted to spend most of the day down there. It was low tide, so we brought our nets to dig in the inlet. We had a blast!! We caught three crabs, one fish and a couple snails. Reagan was having such a fun time down there. She picked up three tiny snails and just carried them around for awhile. We told her, we have to leave the wildlife to be with their families. She just didn't want to give up her snails, it was cute. She finally freed them and we continued on our inlet adventure. She was wading through at one point, and just blurted out, "I in the inlet, it not dangerous." We busted out laughing. It was the first time she ever used the word dangerous. LOL!
We played down there for awhile and then decided to go to the pools. Aunt Pam was hanging out in her favorite pool, so we joined her.
I was bouncing Reagan pretty good, which led to throwing her up in the air. At one point, she slipped through my hands on the way down, and went all the way under. She popped up laughing and said, "I do it again!" She didn't cough, she didn't cry, she loved it! She's just like a little fish!
Finally, it was time for a little snooze before we headed out to dinner. We all took a nice little nap.
I woke up to realize I had gotten a pretty good sunburn on my back. Ouch!
We all got ready and went to dinner at a new place in Little River called, Clarks. It was so YUMMY! We got lobster bites and brushetta for an appetizer. Jim and I both got the vodka rigatoni, it was delicious! Everyone just RAVED about the salads. They were probably the best house salads anyone has had. We are definitely putting it in rotation for next year!
 It was a great day!
I'm sad that we only have two full days left. It goes to fast!
The photo of the day is Reagan carrying around her snail friends....

Next one is just her running in the inlet...

I had to add Reagan and her tortoise friend, too!
