Mother's Day - 132/365

It’s Mother’s Day!
We all slept in, in our cozy Beckley hotel. We must have been tired! Jim and I were up first at 8:30. We played on our phones for a little, then figured it was time to get Reagan up. I was so happy to scoop her up from the pack and play and cuddle her first thing on Mother’s Day!
Jim had smuggled some cards in the room. I got two beautiful cards from my two favorite people! I also got a Paypal gift card! Jimmy knows I love my online stores...LOL!! I get to pick anything I want for Mother’s Day! YAY!
We hit the road for home around 10:30. We decided to drive a little bit before we stopped for food. The last couple times Reagan has eaten breakfast, then got right in the car to travel a distance, she’s gotten sick. We thought we would let her “wake up” a bit before we ate. We ended up stopping in Gassaway, West Virginia at a McDonalds. Reagan was sitting in the booth next to me eating, when all of a sudden, she grabbed my shirt, looked in and said, “mama, you no have a bra on?” Jim and I busted out laughing and I assured her that I did! Where in the world do their minds go!? LOL!
Jim and I were waiting for Reagan to finish her last couple bites of nuggets, when I had a “things I never thought I’d say moment” when I told Reagan, “Don’t rub your chicken on the wall.” Ahhh, the joys of a toddler! Wouldn’t trade her for the world!
We finally got home around 3:30 and unloaded. As soon as we pulled in, I noticed a beautiful hanging basket on the hook by the garage! I immediately knew it was from Ray & Jenny! They are so sweet and always love to leave little treasures! Love those Britts!
We got in the house and there was a card waiting from Jim's mom, too! I got some Michael's money to play with. I love that store and never leave empty handed!
Jim ran to the grocery store, while Reagan and I, put stuff away and started on the laundry.  Nana delivered Brinkley back home around 5:00 and Reagan was thrilled! She just hugged and hugged and hugged him! She kept saying "Hi Bwinkley! Nice to see ya!" It was so cute!
Nana also brought me a beautiful hanging basket for Mother's Day. I just love the posies! So excited it's planting time!
It's really nice to be home, but we really miss the beach already. We had such a wonderful time!
The photo of the day is Reagan and I with our new posies!
Thank you Reagan for making me such a happy mom! You are the best gift I could ever have gotten! You mean the world to me!
The extra pics are of our moms!
Now that we are parents, we truly understand all the hard work, effort and time being a good parent involves. We appreciate now, more than ever, everything our moms have done for us.
Thank you Mom D and Mom C for being the best moms and grandmas ever.
We love you! Happy Mother’s Day!
