Fantastic Fishing - 100/365

It was day two in Piqua!
Reagan, my mom and I started with a quick breakfast at the hotel, then hit the little walking path right by Ed & Pam's. We were almost back to the parking lot when Ed and Zach pulled in. We were getting ready to get back in the car when Zach said, "Chrissy, turn around." I turned around and everyone was going, "Oh MY!" I thought it was a big bug or something but really, my pants had a HUGE tear in them. We were all cracking up! I said, "I didn't even feel any wind!" Thankfully, I had another pair so we went back so I could change.
When we got back to Ed & Pam's, we got everyone loaded up and headed to Jumpy's Fun Zone. We got there and it was closed until 3. We decided to go have lunch at our favorite place down there, Culvers. We love the butter burgers! The kids loved it and so did the adults. We all got kids meals, which were HUGE!
We finished up there and went to check out a beautiful covered bridge and waterfall. We took some pictures of the kids and by the time we were done, it was time to head back over to Jumpy's. The kids LOVED it in there. The bouncers were HUGE! The one had three slides and the staircase went almost to the ceiling. Reagan was a little scared at first because they were much bigger than she's used to. I took her up and sent her down once and after that, she was hooked. Reagan and Emma played so well together. They even had the little teen attendant playing with them. By the end, all us adults were getting in on the action, too! We had a blast! The kids were back to their sweaty selves and their little socks were BLACK!
After Jumpy's, we went back to Ed & Pam's to do a little fishing in the pond. We had gotten Reagan a little Disney Princess Fishing rod that we brought with us. Uncle Ed, "hooked" her up and Emma borrowed one of his. We were set, and off to the pond. Reagan got the first bite! Ed helped her reel it in and sure enough she got a HUGE Bass! The kids were so excited to check out the fish up close. Reagan wasn't afraid at all. She got right up in the fish's face and gave him a hug.
We set him free and tried again. Ed cast a line a couple times. The fish would grab the hot dog but would escape...LOL! We kept saying, "picked off!" Emma tried, got one and it stuck! She got a huge Bass, too! They were so excited!
After fishing, we went in and Pam made a yummy dinner. She made pork chops, mashed potatoes, corn and freshly baked bread! YUM! We had a nice dinner and enjoyed some wine.
We visited a bit longer, then called it a day. We had so much family fun! It was a great time with so many laughs. That's what it's all about!
The photo of the day is Reagan and her first "catch". Uncle Ed named him,
Vince Gill. :)

  1. Wow. These are really cool. This is the 1st time I've read one. It will be nice for you to look back on these in a couple of years. I can only imagine how hard it is to do everyday tho. Keep it up.

    1. Thanks, Cuz! It is really fun! There are times it's really easy and there are days I walk around and wonder what to take pictures of! I can't wait to see the book at the end, though!
