Neighborhood 4th of July - 183/365

Today was our neighborhood 4th of July party. Cindy and Larry always do such a great job.
There is always tons of food and fun. It's always good to chat with neighbors you don't see very much, since everyone is always so busy.
They've been renting a bounce house the last couple years, so the kids really enjoyed that. As it got dark, Larry had sparklers for the kids. They went crazy over them. They were a fancy kind, too, that changed colors.
One of the other favorite things the kids liked was the little chalk station. Reagan and Milana had a great time making drawings. Milana even gave Rachel a little chalk tattoo. Lol.
When it finally got dark, it was time for fireworks. They always put on a professional grade show. It was awesome.  We watched most of it there, but headed home to get cleaned up since we had an early morning. Reagan and I stood in the backyard to watch the rest while Jim ran her bath water. We did a few more sparklers, too.
It was a fun night with our neighbors!

Sparkler time.
