Potty Princess - 62/365

Potty training started TODAY!
What a scary and confusing journey we have all started. She has been showing readiness signs for awhile now, but between the holidays, then two Disney trips and her birthday, we just haven't taken the time to really sit down and do it right. Plus, we figured traveling in Diapers was a little easier...LOL! So today, we finally bit the bullet and started.
We thought first, we would have her "teach" her doll how to go. Then try with Reagan later. Pam and Adrienne both got her "Dollie and Me" dolls for different occasions, and they came with clothes that the doll and Reagan both wear that match. Well she LOVES them, so I thought, lets try that. One clothing set that Aunt Pam got her was a nightgown. It was perfect for easy "de-panting". So to start, we dressed her and Dolly in their matching gowns and made a sticker chart. Every time her and Dolly tried to go potty they got a sticker...instant hit. Once we got the first time, she was hooked. She wanted to go four straight times in a row. I didn't even know how she was still going!
It got a little rocky in the afternoon, but I think she was just giving attitude because she was tired. After her nap, she did excellent! Ultimately she went nine times on the potty and only had 3 wet pants. I'd say that was a pretty successful day!
We are so proud of her! Our little baby is getting all grown up! :(
The photo of the day is her, Dolly and their sticker charts!
(don't mind the random flashing baby...LOL)
 Go girls!
