Today, Jimmy went off to work, while Reagan and I had a chill out day.
We just played and I did a little online Christmas shopping. It felt good to just relax and be at home. We actually stayed in pajamas all day, it was fun!
This evening, we were having our annual Christmas dinner at Tippy. My mom and dad are nice enough to have Greg, Nikki, Jim, Reagan and I every year. It's so nice for Jim and I to have a quiet evening with both sets of our parents. We really enjoy it!
The event itself is nice, the room is all lit by candles and they usually have a group playing soft music and singing. They have a wonderful buffet with a carving station, fish, chicken, and two pastas. They also have a salad bar and dessert table. YUM!
Reagan was all wound up, but still sat pretty good at dinner. She was a little bummed that they didn't have the dance floor set up. When we walked in she said, "where is the dance floor?" She LOVES dancing at Tippy. We spent a lot of time dancing last year.
We all had a really nice time chit-chatting and enjoying the evening.
We always have a nice time and look forward to it every year.
