We were going to start the day at Animal Kingdom today!
We got there and went straight for the Lion King show. We just love that show. Reagan was really into it the whole time!
After that, we decided to go over to the Boneyard. This is the first time we've actually tried it out. We were always visiting as adults, or Reagan had just been too little. She really loved it though! They have a HUGE jungle gym with caves, bridges and lots of slides. We were up and down lots of times. Eventually, we worked our way over to the sand pit, where kids can dig for a Woolly Mammoth. It was more little stones than sand, which was nice. She loved digging in there. We had a blast!
When we were done digging, we went over to ride, TriceraTop Spin. Just as we walked over, I noticed Santa Goofy and Christmas Pluto coming out to start their meet and greet. I told Jim I would hop in line for that, while he took Reagan on the ride. It was fun, because I could see them going around and around while in line.
We eventually got up to the front, and the lady cut off the line. Her name was Susan and we had seen her the other day. She was nice enough, but had a bit of an attitude as well. She is awful at keeping the line moving. She kept telling everyone in line, Goofy and Pluto would be going in for "good boy biscuits" in five minutes and would be right back. In that five minutes, she got two people through the line. One was a single adult woman. That lady was there for probably three of the five minutes. An adult! We were so frustrated!
The line for the dwarfs was three times as long and moved twice as fast! Oh well. We finally got to meet them and Reagan was so excited! She loved Goofy's beard!
When we were done with them, Jim was going to book it over to Expedition Everest to use his Fastpass. I was going to take Reagan on TriceraTop Spin one more time, then meet him over there. She really took to, Dumbo, Flying Carpets and TriceraTop while we were there. When we got off the ride she said, "That's my favorite ride! It's just like Dumbo, only dinosaurs." It was so sweet!
We then, went over to Expedition Everest to meet Jim. He was on and off before we even got over there. We "baby swapped" and it was my turn. I love that coaster!
After that, we were hungry, so we decided to have lunch at one of our favorites, Yak & Yeti. We love that restaurant. The food is awesome and the view from the second floor is fun! You look right out over the park. Jim always gets something different, but I always get the sweet and sour chicken. It's so good!
After that, we were going to head back for some naps. We were all a little tired and EPCOT was open till 11:00, so we wanted to take full advantage of that.
When we got up from our naps, it was a little rainy out. It wasn't supposed to be a wash out, but we still got some ponchos just in case. We never did end up needing them, we used one just to keep Reagan's stroller dry.
We got in and went straight to Spaceship Earth. Reagan loved pushing the buttons on the screens where you build your future. Jim held her up, so her face was part of the video, too! It was too funny!
On our way to the Land Pavilion, we stopped in Club Cool. They got new AWESOME flavors. There is not one that we didn't like. We just wish they sold full bottles of some of them, delicious!
After that, we did Living with the Land, Nemo and Turtle Talk. Turtle Talk was a blast! We have never done that before, since it's mostly for toddlers. We thought this time, she would actually get a kick out of it. She was right up front and when they asked if any one had questions, she was waving her hand. They didn't pick her, but she was into it. We did feel bad, because when we were walking out, she said, "Crush didn't talk to me." Awwwww!
Next, we decided to take a leisurely stroll around World Showcase. We ended up stopping at Tutto Italia for dinner. It was amazing! We haven't been there in awhile, so it was fun to be back! We all loved our food! We got our big pitcher of Sangria again, too! YUM!
After dinner, we wanted to hit up Malestrom and the "Donald Duck ride." Reagan was really loving the "Donald Duck ride" on this trip. When we were getting off Reagan said to us, "I wanna go again." We laughed and said, "We'll see." It was late, so there was no lines and when we were stepping out of the boat, she looked up and asked the guy if we could go again. It was so funny! He said of course, so we just stayed in the same boat and went again.
We finished up with a little shopping at Mouse Gear and one last visit to the Character Spot.
What a full, but fun day!
The photo of the day is us with Santa Goofy, that's not something you see everyday! LOL!
Next, Reagan digging in the Boneyard...
Finally, a cool shot of Spaceship Earth with it's refection in the wet pavement...
