Bears & Awesome Aussie Lunch - 311/365

Kind of a busy day today!
First thing this morning, Nana, Reagan and I headed out to Tales for Tots. This month, the class was held at Bears Den Cabin and the topic was, bears!
The little cabin was cool. I had never been there before, I hadn't even seen it before. It was very small, but nice. Very rustic! Their little project was cute, they got to make a little bear face out of brown paper circles, felt and bells. It was so cute!
After their project, they took us outside behind the cabin to check out a small cave. The teachers wanted the kids to see a place where bears may sleep. The kids loved it, the adults, not so much. It was sprinkling just as we started walking down to the cave. It was a pretty small cave, the "tots" fit perfectly under there, but the rest of us were out in the rain. LOL! It was fine though!
At the end of class, each kid got a typical brown lunch bag. The teachers had painted yellow drips around the top and wrote "honey" across the bag. Inside, they put a sandwich bag of Honeycomb cereal. It was SO CUTE! They wanted them to have the same snack a bear would have.
I just love that little program, it's wonderful!
After class, Nana and I ran a few errands. I was looking for a cute blanket for a newborn shoot I have coming up. I found what I was looking for, YAY!
This afternoon, we were off to the Awesome Aussie Luncheon at Outback Steakhouse in Boardman. The luncheon is held to help raise money for Hospice of the Valley. We have attended every year for the past six and we always have a great time!
This year, it was Nana, Reagan, JoAnn, Pam, Faith, Faith's sister, and I.
It was PACKED when we got there. There was barely any room to get in the door. After we finally made it to the check in table, they took us to our seats. Unfortunately, they had to split us up. It was kind of a bummer. The food was good though. They gave us a hunk of a Blooming Onion, pumpernickel bread, salad, chicken breast, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. We were stuffed!
Even though we got separated we had a great time. We got to sit with Pammy, so it was great to catch up with her!
The photo of the day is Reagan and her project...
Next, is the girls at the luncheon...
